This place is so good. Kacey and Carole are the best servers there. They both work in the morning & lunch shift. I will say they have changed managers and the place has a very good atmosphere and Kaceys personality is so amazing she's on point with everything and everyone. So disappointed. Drove 1 1/2 hours round trip hoping for a Perkins style experience, but instead got a something less than Waffle House, and I hate Waffle House!! The coffee is way overpriced!!! At some point; the cook got upset and started screaming the F word over and over again about being out of sauce and not being paid enough. Just horrible. Food was undercooked, sauce left off wrap which was overcooked, burger was terrible, fried pickles had uncooked batter. They were rude not wanting to remove pickles from the ticket when we only bit into 2. The waitress was rude and non attentive. Last place I would return to in McDonough ga. To eat. I haven't regretted spending $32 so much in a while. And I still left tip bc I spent many years in food service and I just don't stiff servers. First time at this establishment. I had to get up and ask for utensils so I could stir my coffee. I ordered the rib eye steak with eggs over medium, grits and toast. My toast wasn't on my plate so the waitress sent for it. It took forever to come, I already ate my steak and grits! My wife and I took our niece here last week. It was late and we were the only customers in the restaurant. My wife just lost her brother who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He was yoing. His daughter consequentially lost her father. She's only 10. So our little niece who is very well behaved was sitting quietly with her aunt playing tic tac toe with sugar packets. The server was annoyed and doesnt follow directions. I don't feel the need to divulge family history to everyone or my medical history. I ordered extra mayonnaise and mustard on the side with my burger. She walked away after saying it comes on the side as I was still talking. Although its not her business I have acid reflux disease. I put mayonnaise and mustard on my fries. So when the meal arrives although there is room on the table to put the plates down she hands my wife a hot plate. I never got my extra mayonnaise and mustard and during the middle of my meal she walked up to me and hautily thrust a handful of napkins at me which I did not take in my hand as my wife had requested them several minutes before because the table was wet when we were seated. I left her two dollars for a tip and I feel ripped off. Maybe she thinks she's only working this job until her acting carreer takes off. I just came in for a meal and to be treated with some respect. For future reference. Be polite. Listen to the order. Do not move your feet from the table until the customer who is paying your tip is done ordering. Also if you see an empty glass just fill it and don't intentionally ask if your customer needs simply when they have their mouth full. read more
