It gives a great vibe for either a work dinner, a date night, owl or dinner with friends! It's fun and swanky but not over the top. They have a really attractive bar and they have a pizza kitchen that is open, which is always a cool touch. I try to handful of appetizers and I've got to recommend both the jerk cauliflower as well as the brussels sprouts and the Caesar salad was delicious as well. Also, the blistered Hungarian peppers are a must order if you'd like sausage! The meal that I had both times because it was that good was the spicy lamb rigatoni. I might just go back next week and get it again. I like that they have a wide variety of options whether you're looking for a gluten-free meal or something carb heavy like pizza or pasta, but they also have options to fit a variety of budgets from a casual dinner and a burger to more expensive entrées. The servers are very kind and are definitely educated in their wine and food offerings and very hospitable. Since this is located on Morris, a lot of people think parking is difficult down there, but apparently there is a parking lot in the back where you're able to get your ticket validated. I know some of my friends wish they would have known this before. I'll definitely be back and recommend this spot to others wanting a good meal!

The pizza was good, but my girlfriend ordered mushroom and pepperoni and we got sausage and mushrooms . The toppings and sauce were good, but the best part was the chewy crust that was slightly charcoaled. I had to use the City parking lot in the back as street parking was full. This area looks to be comparable to Omaha's Old Market, but we didn't have any time to explore. Hipsters of the World Unite!

The Brussel sprouts were way too salty for my taste and so were the green beans. The mashed potatoes and yam patties were good. I would have liked the bread to have been warm The service was good. I've run many trips to Montgomery Alabama, and I'm always looking another exciting way back to Mobile, mostly because Interstate 65 is some of the most boring road you'll ever drive, unless you're a big fan of trees. So I took a right turn I didn't intend and hit US 331 and found myself in a cute town called Highland Home, with "It Don't Matter Family Restaurant". I mean, with a name like that, how could I not stop?! So I parked on that very rainy afternoon, and went inside for something to eat. Now, this is exactly what you think of when you think of southern cooking. The menu was extensive and had everything you could want. Tables were spread out across the giant floor area, covered in table cloths. There is a buffet, for those with a large appetite. Very country, quaint and quiet. So I checked in on Yelp (Pro-tip: make sure you do this upon being seated). I perused the menu, and decided on the chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and fried okra. My waitress was friendly, and quickly took the order to the kitchen, and it arrived shortly after. This was a great choice! The chicken was juicy, and the breading was seasoned perfectly, the potatoes are the real deal, and the fried okra was some of the best I've ever had. The menu and the buffet were both full of choices, so I'm looking forward to going back and seeing what other southern culinary trouble I can get into.

1-Star Review Title: Absolutely Disgusting -- Stay Far Away!…read more If I could give this place negative stars, I would. As someone who used to work here, I can say without hesitation: this travel center is highly disgusting. The food they serve is often old, unsanitary, and unfit for consumption. Nothing is properly cleaned -- not the food, not the prep areas, not even the coffee machines. They rarely, if ever, break them down to clean them the way they're supposed to. I've seen it firsthand, and I've known multiple people who have gotten food poisoning after eating here. What makes it worse is the horrible customer service. Ask for fresh food? They'll flat-out refuse. They want you to eat the cold, stale leftovers that have been sitting for hours. There's no regard for customer satisfaction or basic hygiene. On top of that, the environment is outright toxic, and yes, there are very clear racist attitudes present among some of the staff and management. It's unacceptable, and I'm honestly surprised this place hasn't been shut down by health inspectors already. If you care about your health, your dignity, and your money, do not stop here. Keep driving -- you'll thank yourself later.
