TJ (one of the owners of Hudson Roofing) has done many roofs for my parents, friends, family members, and coworkers of mine. He is one of THE MOST professional roofers I have ever came across. From giving a very detailed estimate, to showing up early to start the job, to being extremely thorough with sending and completing contracts, and getting the job completed in a flawless and timely manner. He really is amazing at his craft. To get up and work in the freezing cold conditions and not complain really shows the dedication he has to helping others and making homes livable. They have an A+ rating with the BBB, and great recommendations through word of mouth. As for my experience, in a few words, they were professional and accommodating from start to finish - operating at a level of attention to detail that more than satisfies the most particular person. Communication was prompt, the planning seamless, and the execution was done swiftly (1-day) and thoroughly. The clean up afterwards was especially impressive; it's as if nothing happened, as there was no evidence of a big construction job. I had a flat roof of a 2 family house in Bayonne that keeps getting leak ever since I had the house 5 years ago. I first found out about Hudson Roofing on Yelp and word of mouth from mutual friends and figure I would give them a shot to fix my problem. TJ (the son) was the first person I got a quote from and I never looked back. He was by far the most professional and honest compare to any other guy who came for an estimate. Our house had a major leak in our roof. After hearing from a few other companies, I went with Hudson Roofing as they sounded more invested toward actually fixing the leak. The other businesses simply took at a look at the roof, asked me what I wanted to do, then gave an estimate; not one of them asked what the problem with the roof was. This business, on the other hand, replied promptly when I asked to get an estimate. TJ came out the following day and inspected the roof and attic to find the source of the problem. He also followed up a couple of days later to see if I wanted to hire them. They were able to complete the project within a day, while I was expecting it to take at least two. I hired this company to upgrade my roof to cement tiles after the big fires a couple years ago. TJ and his crew were very, very professional and receptive to all our concerns. asked this father /son team to give me an estimate to fix a leak-father sends son up& then quotes me $1700!-Told me $1000 was "for his truck". (why he thought I would be interested in paying for his truck, escapes me)-because I am an elderly women( he apparently thinks the elderly are stupid) he offered to "let" me pay this outrageous price off.
