Luckily, my younger brother turned me on to Bludso's recently and we just finished a family lunch there. Since they only serve their sandwiches on weekdays, we opted for Fried Okra, "2 Meats 2 Sides"(chicken and brisket), two sandwich buns. At the suggestion of our server, Beto, we added an extra quarter pound of sliced brisket. Beto really knows what he's doing... and because of him it was a perfectly satisfying amount of food for the three of us. He definitely went above and beyond. We're looking forward to heading there on one of the next weekdays our teenager has off to try their sandwiches.

The customer service was great--super friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I also like how active and engaging they are on social media. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere too. But let's get to the important part--the food! The tri-tip was tender and full of flavor, the baked beans were delicious, and the mac & cheese was definitely on point. And that watermelon lemonade? WOW! That might be worth the trip by itself. If you're looking for good BBQ and great service, give this place a try. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll be coming back!

I ordered the Blood In, Blood Out and my wife ordered the Hispanic! At the Disco. Both drinks were amazing. A++ service here. We're definitely going to come back next time we're in the area.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!…read more When the employee lured us in, she said to go to the counter inside and wait for someone to seat us. There were several employees that saw us just standing there, but we still waited there for 5 mins before someone told the girl from outside to take us to our table. We were finally seated. Then guy who told the girl to seat us was just standing around d chit chatting with another employees for about 15 minutes before he even came to our table. He never even introduce himself. He just took our order. Another 20 mins came by before our food was served. OUR FOOD WAS ROOM TEMPERATURE. Short Rib was ok. The macaroni was stale and OLD! It was dry and not fresh! We asked for extra BBQ sauce and that didn't arrive for another 15 mins. We had to wave down another employee to try to get the sauce to us. I wouldn't recommend this place! Horrible service. Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

I came here just to try the burger as I've been addicted to trying new places recently, and this was definitely unique. There's no onsite parking as the lot next door to the west was reserved for the neighboring coffee shop. Metered curbside parking was available on N Broadway. If you were willing to walk a couple of blocks, there were free spots along the side streets which was what I did. A small line had formed right before the doors opened at 11:00. The inside decor was similar to a Texas roadhouse. There was a bar to the left, the service counter was straight ahead, and numerous tables filled the rest of the dining area. Seating at a covered outside patio was through a door to the right. Before that door were plaques and awards mounted on the wall with recognition from various media outlets including Michelin. The menu featured six types of meat sold by the half or full pound and two kinds of sausage (Jalapeno Cheddar, Chile Relleno). Eight different sides were sold in small and large quantities. The Chili Cheese Fries were only available as a large serving size. Sandos, burgers, and sweets rounded out the remaining categories. If you wanted party size portions, then three levels of BBQ Trays were offered. Unfortunately, due to rising costs, Beef Ribs that were normally sold on Saturdays have temporarily been suspended. After waiting about ten minutes, I reached the counter. My order was a half pound each of the Brisket, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, and Smoked Herb Butter Turkey. I also purchased a Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and a small Texas Chili. The brisket, turkey, and sausage were placed inside a cardboard takeout container. Separate plastic containers held the burnt ends, chili, and complimentary pickles and red onions. A piece of Texas Toast was provided inside an aluminum foil wrap. The standouts were the burnt ends and turkey. Two pieces of pork belly were coated with a Korean-style sticky glaze which I have never encountered before for burnt ends. It was a fatty and sweet flavor combination. The seasoned turkey breast was finished with herb butter and smoked over white oak. The cut was moist and tender which can be hard to achieve with such lean white meat. For the quality and cost of my takeout order, I gave a four star rating to Moo's Craft Barbecue.
