Adequate parking available near salon, but no sign other than 'Nails'. I entered and noticed it was a full service salon for men & women. I think it's a business that offers contractors a spot to work & create their own client base. The owner of Heidis might be the property owner AND a nail tech. I needed my feet spoiled, so I ordered the Royal Pedicure. The entire process was just over an hour & included: gel pedicure, paraffin treatment, foot massage, leg massage with hot stones, chair massage with heated wraps for my hands & shoulders. There was a Korean face mask (moisturizing), but I opted to do it at home. Payment is easy - ApplePay or Zelle. While getting the pedicure I read a book, but once the massage started I just closed my eyes and listened to the different languages and music. The hum seemed very friendly The only negative was when a man who was familiar with the female nail techs came over & changed the tone from classy to trashy. His gutter style encouraged the women to join in by using foul language. Yes, entiendo y hablo español. The lack of professionalism was a turn-off and a good reason to find another salon instead of feeling excited that one found a gem.

She used to work in Capitola, and I would travel from San Jose to Capitola every other months to get my nails done. So glad she's now in Salinas, the drive is more pleasant for my visit. I truly appreciate the strong quality nails and Helen's artistic talent. My nails lasted a whole month+ without breaking. I like everything French tips, so I would bring her an example picture of what I like and she would recreate the exact ones or revision a better style with a modern twist to it. She just gets my vibes these days! I just let her know what I'm wearing, the theme, and she just gets creative with it. Just sit back and enjoy the magical moment. My nails come out perfect every time, and remained healthy too. You will not be disappointed with Helen's work. She can get really busy at times, so appointments are recommended. I got to the salon no wait only two other ladies sitting getting their nails done, I was helped by an older lady she asked me if i was getting a manicure I said "no thank you just color change" she proceeded to file my nails i said "please don't drill or file " and she right away got upset and began handling my hands like she wanted to rush the service. She proceeded to drill my hands and I felt pressured because I had already said no twice about a manicure and drilling so I allowed her to finish the job because I felt bad about waiting their time . I'm on my fifth day of my color change and the stickers I added on have peeled off I was charged more than 25 cents per sticker. The gel has also started to peel off. I don't think she could understand me but please improve on translating to those who find it difficult to communicate to customers.
