I was told my pain medication and antibiotics would be called in, but when I went to the pharmacy, no prescriptions had been sent. After speaking with Marrisa hours later, I was still left without the medication I needed just minutes before the pharmacy closed. I would not recommend this office. The care, communication, and attention to patients are unacceptable, especially after paying such a high amount.

It was explained to me that after their investigation, they realized that a policy was wrongly communicated to me regarding wax distribution and charges. The policy states that wax, rubber bands and storage boxes are given to patients currently in treatment at AVA - AT NO CHARGE. Patrons who request the aforementioned items who are not AVA patients are charged a small fee. Now this... THIS MAKES TOTAL SENSE! It was an honest mistake and misunderstanding on the part of the person my daughter spoke with that day. The doctor assured me the staff had reviewed the policy, and this would not be an issue moving forward. He also communicated how important it was to him and the practice that we were happy, and I truly felt that came from his heart. As a final gesture of good faith he offered us a second retainer when she finishes her treatment. And as we all know... every kid needs that... because eventually they lose the first one:) The value of this retainer is about $600. I made sure he knew I didn't write the review to get anything for free and tried to tell him this was not necessary, but he insisted. I am happy with how this was all cleared up. And I can honestly give them a five star rating... not because I got something for free... but because they addressed the issue and did so in a professional, respectful manner.
