This is the best dentistry practice I've ever received services from. From John Luke and Allie ( the front desk Medical Clerks) to Dr. Alexander (my dentist), Dr.Phan (no longer there because he moved back home out of State. My previous dentist ) and now Dr. Beaver (my husband's dentist) We moved to this area from 160 miles south about 10 months ago due to my husband's new job. The only friend that we had in the area recommended their practice and I am so glad they did. They will work with whatever time and/or day of the week is convenient for you, Trust Me! "Friday's is good for the Hill family" lol if for some reason they can't see you in case of an emergency they will find you a in network dentistry they are familiar with to see you that day (it only happened when I needed a root canal done that started to act up and I would have had to wait 2 weeks to see their in house orthodontist, that comes in once a month). I've had six procedures done and have all been very pleasant experiences. One of those procedures was the removal of my top two wisdom tooth, it was very quick and swift I was done within 45mns. They will show you all of your procedure options and won't try to persuade you to go with the most expensive option at all, but if you ask their opinion they will answer with what they think is best for you situation. They also make sure that you are comfortable first and foremost. My husband and I weren't able to take care of our dentistry needs before with the previous salary etc but now that we are able, we feel quite blessed that it is being taken care of by a group of professionals that truly know what they're doing, that use latest dentistry technology to help make the experience as pleasant and timely as possible without sacrificing quality, and that are sincere about what we needed/needs to be done. We're so pleased that we decided to have our two children ages 9 and 2 become patients as well, next door at My Kids Dentistry with Dr.Chance whom is just as profesional and caring as Dr.Alexander. I would recommend this dentistry to everyone. read more

1 Star - Extremely Frustrating Lack of Communication Our experience with Rayford Modern Dentistry in Spring, Texas has become incredibly frustrating, not because of the amount of money involved, but because of the complete lack of communication regarding a refund we are owed. We were informed that our refund of approximately $280 was submitted for processing on June 11, 2026. We later spoke with Bill, who told us the refund check had been processed and would be mailed. It is now August 22, 2026 -- more than two months later -- and we still have not received the refund. More frustrating is the lack of communication. We have attempted to resolve this directly with the office, including communicating with Bill and Roxana and following up by phone, yet the matter remains unresolved. No check. No email. No letter. No returned phone call explaining what happened. No meaningful update. At this point, it isn't even about $280. It's about basic customer service and accountability. If there is a legitimate problem processing a refund, communicate that to the patient. Don't tell someone a check has been processed and mailed and then leave them chasing the office for months trying to figure out what happened. We have now had to escalate the matter beyond the local office and contact the practice owner and PDS Health leadership simply to try to get an answer about a relatively straightforward refund. We have given the office numerous opportunities to resolve this privately and professionally. Unfortunately, the continued lack of communication has left us extremely disappointed. I will gladly update this review if Rayford Modern Dentistry resolves the issue and provides an explanation for what happened. Until then, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office when it comes to billing/refund issues and communication. read more

I have an upcoming appointment and was called about it. I could not understand the message due to the speed of the speech. They call and talk so fast that it can't be understood. I honestly have no idea what time the appointment is. If only they had made a calm relaxed message I would not be here now writing this. No text message. No e-mail. Worst billing I have ever seen in my life. I have called on multiple occasions and emailed to no avail to communicate they have not properly billed both instances. Her hygienist Alex is so gentle and thorough that after years of needing gas to get my teeth cleaned I no longer need it ... that's a very big step for me! I would give ZERO STARS if I could. My husband went in for a routine cleaning today and his appt was for 2. They had him waiting and waiting just to turn around and tell him they won't do the cleaning because he needs a deeper clean and has a treatment plan. I inderstand having a treatment plan and him needing a deeper clean but you're telling me leaving him with no cleaning is the way to go about it? He wasted a lunch break for NOTHING!! I called to get more details about it because it's absolutely wild to me that they would do this. He also said it was clear that they just didn't want to do it. They close at 5:30 according to the lady who answered when I called at 4:45 pm. I barely expressed my concern before her letting me know they close soon. She clearly didn't want to help or speak to me which lines up with the attitude my husband described. I had an upcoming appt myself at this location but I surely had it cancelled. DO NOT GO HERE if you don't want your time wasted. Also go figure, the deep clean is 600 dollars as opposed to a free routine cleaning, not suspicious at all Lazy lazy office! read more

Would give zero if possible . Went back around September to get a tooth removed in order to get an implant . Now 4 months later that it healed I was about to get my implant done and the surgeon found a piece of tooth still in my gums , and I'm not talking about a tiny piece. It was very easily seen through the x-ray. So they couldn't do the implant because of the hole left in my bone from the tooth. Now I had to get more bone graft and now I have to wait another 4-5 months for it to heal . Ima end up being without a tooth for over a year because of this mistake read more

BEWARE Worst Dental Experience EVER. Would give 0 star if possible! Recently moved to Spring, TX, and needed to get a routine cleaning as it has been about a year. This dental office is close to home so I thought to give it a try...I mean how hard could a preventative cleaning be. Scheduling the appoint was easy, but when I showed up and took my X-Rays the Dentist turned into a used car salesman. Tried to sell me a deep clean, and I mentioned I had a deep clean last year so my insurance would not cover, then the dentist tried to include my cleaning with some "laser" tech service that would clean better but would cost over $270 out of pocket. Which was not explained until I asked why I was being charged $270 for the cleaning. Again... I declined and asked for a general cleaning and was specific that my insurance covers cleanings 100% 2x per year. The lady removed the laser service and said the cleaning would cost $55 out of pocket after insurance portion. This was still confusing as I had never paid ever before for a cleaning as that was covered 100% by insurance 2x per year for an In-Network Met Life insurance dental office. Come to find out after they charged my credit card for $55, this office billed me for a "Periodontal Maintenance" cleaning and not my "Preventive" cleaning, which would have been 100% covered. They NEVER gave me this option for a preventive cleaning which again I told them is what I wanted and never had to pay for. Clearly, this is a money-hungry office that seems to be committing insurance fraud and not disclosing all the patient's options upfront. I called the dentist and asked for a refund since the cleaning should have been a preventative cleaning and not a periodontal maintenance cleaning, which would have been 100% covered, and that they were misleading because they NEVER offered me or brought up a preventive cleaning vs. periodontal maintenance cleaning. They would not refund and told me some "bs" excuse that I was ineligible for a preventive cleaning because my exam showed "bone loss" and that patients can ONLY have periodontal maintenance cleanings if they have "bone loss". Again, this is not factual per insurance, which I called out the lady on the phone who then admitted it was their offices policy to not offer preventative cleaning if after exam it was determined there was "bone loss" .... Such fraud! I have been to many dentists and had multiple x-rays and never have I been told I have bone loss.... Again, probably fraud so they can cross sell you services that you DON'T need. Please read all the 1-star reviews on YELP and Google Reviews before booking your appointment at this office. MANY people experienced this used car sales atmosphere, and their attitude turns rude if you decline their recommended services. If you book for a cleaning and expect to be covered by insurance, use the terminology "PREVENTATIVE" cleaning when booking your appt. PLEASE BE AWARE! read more

So these people at this place do not actually do any work on your teeth at all without setting up another appointment for some guy to come in and do surgery even on cavities. I told them I needed my wisdom taken out I came twice for it and they wanted me to pay a fortune and set up another appointment when the surgeon was in. I have two other cavities in my month still they even seen them and they didn't do anything but take a xray which I had to pay for. It's like my insurance does take these people but for some reason I have to pay out of pocket. All they do is talk too much and clean your teeth. I pay for supplemental insurance and my prior dentist from my prior City bill for deep cleaning and X-ray would run less than $100. I made appointment for X-ray and deep cleaning and my bill was $1,500. I had to pay $1,000 out of pocket. I called my insurance company thinking it was was mistake in coverage and it wasn't. They had billed for photo xrays that cost more than $400. They never mentioned optional regular X-ray. This with a laundry of other charges. This dentist office worse than used car sales office. Be very careful if you choose this dentist office. No wonder they are able to get in in so fast. I feel like I have been scammed by a dentist. read more

Quality staff and quality products. I've worked as a prn dental assistant, so I've been in many dental offices. They use new technology to make same day porcelain crowns. All dentists are ladies. They are professional and thorough, which is what you want in a dentist. Hygienists are informative and not belittling as they encourage you to do more methods of dental hygiene. I don't love dental visits - it's kind of like an annual job review; but I know their depth of pushing me to do more oral health is good for me. Thank you for your great work. read more

I've always had good experiences with the dentist, but there have been multiple times that either me or one of my kids have had our appointment date and/or time changed without being told. I've had a couple of situations where I took off work for an appointment only to have it be at a different day or time when they call to confirm. I thought I made a mistake the first time, but it happened multiple times. They've even done it after I already confirmed the appointment. I don't mind rescheduling, but someone should call or send a message through mychart to notify you that they need to reschedule, not just move it and hope you don't realize, especially if it is just a few days before the appointment. read more

Everyone who knows me knows I love my dentist & the entire team at Rayford Modern Dentistry (we've been through a lot together)! Everyone is AMAZING, but Ms. Tokeshia takes the cake! A year ago, my now 12-year-old experienced extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. He had trouble sleeping the night before and was in tears before his visit. He won't open his mouth for a dental exam. He did allow the brushing (with protest) and flossing but refused the fluoride. It was very stressful for everyone. Ms. Tokeshia has been his hygienist at every visit. She has been patient with him at every step along the way, working hard to build his trust, encouraging him, yet challenging him just enough to build his confidence in the process. His last visit, I stayed in the waiting room the entire visit. He didn't even need his mom in the room with him. What a difference a year with Ms. Tokeshia has made! I had an amazing visit yesterday at Rayford Dental, Dr. Alexander's office from start to finish. I would like to complement the dental hygenist who gave me the best cleaning I think I have every had. She was thorough, and used a new tool at the beginning that I don't believe was ever used on me. She used it well and for a lengthy time to make sure that she got all of the tartar, etc. The additional tools used were also used thoroughly and I felt like I got the most out of each tool. She took a longer time than usual and kept checking to make sure I was pain free. I did not ask for my teeth to be polished, but they were and turned out much whiter w/ coffee stains gone. I also loved the care & information that I received from doctor V. who helped me understand some of the problems that I was having w/ my bottom teeth and the incorrect use of my mouth guard. She had great suggestions that have worked well! I also appreciated the painless procedure of x-rays that normally hurt b/c my mouth is so small and the inserts into the mouth while x-raying cut into my gums and palate....but this time she used a rubbery apparatus that prevented the pain. She completed the normally long task of x-rays quickly & got it right the first time on each area of my mouth! read more

went here to fix a tooth and it got worse! They didnt properly cover every part of my tooth? left holes and it allowed bacteria to grow and cause an infection. Now it will cost me more! They also have so many excuses on why it happened! They also convinced me to pay $150 for a discount at my apt and they never offered to return my money paid for it! If I could give more stars I would. What an awesome staff! Besides being exceptionally clean, every step of my extraction was explained thoroughly step by step, offering me different choices. Dr Kathleen Sun's team wars wonderful showing genuine compassion, from the X-ray with Giselle (sp?) to the payment options with Terry. But the Star of my visit was Dr Sun, she took her time to go over everything in detail that was going to happen and when the extraction started the only pain I felt was the first injection to get my mouth ready and numb. I honestly didn't even feel it when she expertly pulled my tooth out. She was courteous, compassionate and made me at ease with her detailed description of what steps were going to happen. And she let me be a lil kid again by letting me get a token to use in the children's mini toy carrousel, a nice ending to a wonderful experience. They told us don't worry we were going to refund you that never happened. They charge my husband over $1200 in his debit card and now they wanna charge $500 just to clean his teeth. Let me start with this, my wife and I hate dentists. We have had bad experiences in the past and it's really burned our bridge so to speak. So my wife and I booked here for cleanings and checkups. I was not thrilled but needed to go (and learned I needed like 2k worth of dental work). So all positives for once, It's in a good location right off the highway and next door to an HEB so plenty of parking. The staff were so helpful and nice, made sure we knew all our options with insurance and payments etc. Everyone looked happy to be there which I must say was a first, the kids in the waiting room, the staff everyone. On a Monday! The rooms were new and clean, everything offered included some more high tech options then I was used too. If your in the market, give them a try. read more

First time I came for a cleaning, I spent 20 minutes with someone trying to up charge me on all these services that I didn't want, and had expressed that to them from the moment they started. Now schedule a second appointment for my son and I. Received my confirmation email, but when I showed up they didn't have me on the schedule at all. They said it was because they were short a dental hygienist. No call, no email to reschedule, simply took me off the schedule completely. They are going to fit me in, but I'm waiting well last my original appointment time. Would recommend staying away from this place read more

My husband and I hate dentists. We have had horrible experiences in the past where we have received shoddy medical care, as well as shoddy customer care. This dentist was the absolute opposite of anything I expect from dentists. First off, the office is immaculate, and in a great location right next to the Spring Creek HEB. Plenty of parking, and very easy to see. Secondly, the dentist was the first person I met. Not the dental assistants or hygienists. The dentist came to greet me in the waiting room. Every other dentist I had been to would usually show up mid cleaning to talk to me for five seconds. Dr. Alexander-Varghese was the absolute opposite of any dentist I have seen. She chatted with me a little while very pleasantly, and then we did X-rays, and she did a quick exam. She knew I am very anxious during dental exams, and made every effort to give me the opportunity to take a break if I needed it. Before going any further, she discussed all options for treatment, and had her office manager, Jason, give my husband and I a complete breakdown of all costs for treatment. Again, the last dentist I went to refused to go over my X rays with me, and just demanded that I let him schedule a wisdom teeth extraction. I go to Dr. A., and my wisdom teeth are completely fine. I might need one removed eventually, but eh, not a bad deal. I do have to go back for a slightly invasive procedure, but I am not even dreading it because Dr. A. has taken every opportunity to assure me that we are going to do this at my speed. I am very comfortable going to her office for treatment. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist to everyone! read more

The professionalism of this place is laughable. Walked in for my appointment today, was told by the girl at the desk to "have a seat" as if that's what one does when waiting to check-in. After being seated for about 5 minutes or so, no one bothered to help me and get me checked in. Another patient walked in and she was immediately helped. When I started to stand up to get checked-in, the girl at the desk continued to look at me and my family member as if we were there to rob the place. Mind you, this was how she looked at/ treated us the entire 8 minutes we were there. I finally decided to cancel my appointment and walk out. I vow to never return to this place and to make sure none of my friends and family are referred to them. Perhaps teach that young lady to not be prejudice towards new patients. read more

I ended up going to the establishment, wait 10 minutes to talk to a person. They pushed me to the side so they could check in patients. Finally the assistant office manager comes out, she informs me that they charged my MetLife. Then she tried charging my health insurance, in which dental isn't covered that's why we have MetLife to begin with. I explained to her that we never had dental on our regular health insurance, why would you try getting payment from them? So they were trying to double dip, they wanted payment from MetLife and my health insurance. Since it didn't go through with my health insurance, she wanted me to pay out of pocket. But they were paid in full through MetLife!!! No apologies were given, I was told she'd do me a favor by "scratching off" the bill. A bill that I wasn't supposed to have gotten in the first place. Knowing that I wasn't having dental insurance they quote me 300$ for one tooth extraction and 800$ for simple bone graft. Thanks god I decided not to proceed with the treatment and find somewhere else to get it done with less than 250$ extraction+bone graft... .My infected tooth is all better now.... I agree that dentistry field is super expensive but a tooth extraction costing over 1000$ is such a joke... am not saying that to all the other dental offices out there but exclusively to Rayford Modern Dentist read more

Generally a good dentist office. Their staff is all friendly as are the doctors. My only reservation is that it is a relatively new office and they are trying to grow their business. This typically means they will try to get you to buy things you do not need. If you're up front with them and let them know you're not out to buy a Cadillac grill, they will respect it. read more
