One day my dog crossed paths with a German Shepard and the owner of the German Shepard simply clapped her hands and her dog sat and stayed, while my dog was barking and lunging. I asked the owner how she trained her dog and she told me about Anita's Loving Pet Services. I contacted Anita and actually ran into her one morning. She was walking four dogs and all were well trained. After seeing that I signed my dog up and I don't regret any part of it. When we first started, my dog was super anxious and nervous. She taught me techniques to calm his nervousness and help him relax. Along with that she taught how to socialize my dog correctly with other dogs. Before I was unable to bring my dog into places like Petco. Now, I bring my dog in and he is relaxed. He obeys commands and and isn't lunging or barking like before. Taking them on their daily walks was very stressful because they would constantly bark, lunge, and pull on the leash when they saw anything that moved. They were so reactive, it was scary to take them out in public, so we started avoiding going out during the day. Instead, we opted to take them out in walks only early morning, or late at night when the chances of running into other people or dogs was much lower. It really limited our options. Anita came into our lives immediately helped to show us what was happening, and how we could start to unlearn the unwanted behaviors. She was so kind, gentle, and yet, she was also firm with our pups. And that's exactly what they needed! After training with Anita, all four pups are living their best lives out in public.
