Unfortunately, I am leaving a poor review. I've been shopping at the mall independently since I was 13 years old. I'm now 34 years old. I've had the privilege to shop throughout the country and overseas. Today was by far the worst customer service I've experienced. First & foremost, I planned on purchasing brand new cologne. I walk into the store and immediately say, "Hello Ma'am how are you today." I get simple response of "Fine." As I proceeded to check out all the cologne on display, I didn't find a cologne strip or parchment to spray any of the colognes. There was no sincere gesture, suggestion, or recommendation. I literally stood there like I was staring at the back wall with no representative in front of me. At this point, I grabbed the new line of Hugo Boss and sprayed the inside of my forearm. I was ready to purchase the item, however since the rep did nothing to entice the purchase or ask whether I liked the product, I put down the bottle. At this moment, the rep turned to her coworker and started having a side conversation. I want to thank you for showing your true colors today. The old blonde lady is the most condescending personality I've seen in my life. Smells a shirt that I didn't even try on at home and tells me it has a perfume on it. The shop only takes cash for alterations and do not have a 10 dollars bill to give change back, and tells me to figure it out. Horrible services by her and only her. The young ladies were so nice and the guy was nice. It's just her That judges people for doing anything. Even buying. read more

We tried on a sweater & wanted to get a bigger size, but the BLONDE older lady practically snatched the sweater from his hand and put it back on the rack. Tried this store out for the first time to buy a gift for someone. It didn't fit so I came to return it. The return policy is archaic but more flexible online. Why would you buy it in store? Better yet, why would you even buy it here? They didn't have the clothing anymore and couldn't exchange it. They wouldn't give a gift card. Seems like a bad way to build customer base. They have changed their selection quite a bit since I used to frequent this location and it also appears they have downsized. This store doesn't care nearly as many dress clothes as they used too and they stopped selling cufflinks! However their service is friendly as ever and they are still very professional. I recently damage my Tuxedo bag and needed to replace it. I was greeted kindly when I entered and when I was advised they only provide the travel bags with a purchase I offered to buy it and the kind lady just gave me the travel bag at no charge! How nice of her and what wonderful service. I think Hugo Boss as a company is overhauling their branded a bit focusing on a different style but they still have a good selection of dress attire. It's a small store, and only one in Sacramento area. Quality clothes, especially suits. If you like quality & willing to spend $$$, this place is for you. I do not like to wear their casual shoes, bough few pairs & their ventilation is very poor, feet are always sweaty. DO NOT BUY HUGO BOSS BAGS OR BACKPACKS. They are cheaply made and the store does not warranty them. I buy a lot of Boss items such as cologne, pants, shirts, and shoes. All of the items I've bought have been great except for a bag I bought from the Roseville Galleria store in particular. In less than a year the stitching in the bottom corner of the bag has come undone. So now there is a big hole in the bag. I took it back to the Roseville store and they tell me there is no warranty on the bag any longer. The warranty is only for 90 days. I told the representative how can such an expensive bag not be guaranteed for the craftsmanship longer than that. She replied the bag is kind of cheap since it's polyester. I told her $212 dollars is not cheap to me. Avoid my frustration. The clothes are fine but do not buy Boss backpacks or any other bags. As the representative said they are cheap. read more

My husband needed a suit for an event and of coarse he wanted a Hugo Boss suit!! The young man helping my husband was great!! Friendly, helpful, and a warm personality. There was customer that was rude had hell, demanding, abrupt, and overall a jerk to the Asian Taylor. The Taylor had broken English but clearly understood what the rude customer was requesting and there was no need be demanding. My perception of the tall customer wearing the white t-shirt was an entitled, rude, snobby, and a overall ass. My husband had a great sales experience And we will go back!! Completely happy with my experience picking out the suit I will get married in! I was helped by an extremely nice and informative man named Bruce, who made the process of trying on dozens of suits quite pleasant. I had been by a few of the larger department stores but wasn't excited by the selections (boxier, baggier, generally more old-fashioned), but was glad to see the different styles here were more modern and slim. In the end I went with a three-piece light blue slim fit suit that was hiding in the back (Bruce was nice enough to notice it was my size and bring it out). He was also helpful in picking out shirts and ties that would match the suit color. If you are looking for modern, well made suits and really helpful staff, this place is great. read more

I came to this location looking for a very, VERY slim fitting suit for my wedding. To help those who are too skinny for their own good, I was 5'9" and 120 pounds when I first visited. From the little research I did, Hugo Boss was probably the only store that could offer me an "off-the-rack" suit that could decently fit me without too many alterations. To make things short: my two visits to this location were awesome. Ask for Joseph. He explained the basics and how the suits should fit. He recommended styles (Ryan/Win for me) and coloring schemes. He was never pushy with any sales. The best part? He recommended us to come back at a later date because then they would be holding their (bi)annual sale. It saved me 30% on the suit. I sadly could not get my suit tailored there due to time and traveling constraints, but I if anyone is interested in Hugo Boss suits/apparel, find Joseph. I am a regular at Burberry and Louis Vuitton at the Galleria Mall and as much as I love both designers, Hugo Boss has got to be the most fabulous designer store at Galleria simply because they have exquisite customer service. A few days ago, I walked into Boss for the first time with my cousin from Saudi Arabia who wants to be covered in nothing but brand names from head to toe. Because he is an international student at SF State, we were in the market for a rain coat. We tried Burberry first, because, well they are flashy with their brand and that's what he was looking for. We fell in love with an Olive Green heavy rain coat. But of course, Burberry NEVER has the item you want in the color or size you want. Sadly, we moved down the hall to Hugo Boss. It was my first time in the store because they carry only menswear at Galleria (the one in SF carries a fabulous line of womenswear). We were greeted by a very pleasant young man named Joseph who was very eager to help us find a black rain coat. He pulled out ALL of our options in ALL of the colors and ALL the sizes we wanted. He was very helpful and patient. Soon, he offered us wine, coffee, and water. I opted out but after he made a second offer a few fitting room sessions later, I settled with a water. Even though my cousin was indecisive and tried on a million things, the salesperson never pressured us or made us feel like he was rushing us. We walked out with a $600 jacket and a wallet and I must say we were both very satisfied with not only the beautiful quality of Hugo Boss but also the service and the free alterations (sleeves, dress pants, and just about anything else). We came in to buy a 3-piece suit for my fiancé for our wedding and had a great experience from start to finish. Travis helped us and was always professional and helpful and NEVER pushy or arrogant. We had been to many stores prior to find somewhere that had my fiancés size in store (who new 6'2 and 200 pounds is considered "big") and had many sales people brush us off after seeing my fiancés sleeve of tattoos. But not Hugo Boss, we were treated with respect and 100% satisfied with the whole experience. This review is based on both shopping with my boyfriend and solo shopping for my boyfriend. My boyfriend surely has an affinity for Hugo Boss. I'm confident the only non-HB items in his closet are his work out apparel. So, when in doubt as to what gift to get him I venture over to the HB Roseville location. Bruce, along with a few other stylish associates, have always been extremely helpful! They are always knowledgable, offer great outfit suggestions, efficient altering and possibly one of my favorite reasons- wine! :D (or espresso or water...) The quality of their shirts, polos, suits, leisure suits, hats, wallets, shoes, etc. is really exceptional. Late review but the service I received from Bruce was exceptional and he well deserved a shout out. My husband hates clothes shopping. It was therefore great working with Bruce who helped us find the perfect tux. Bruce was very familiar with the new season trends, had a great eye for detail, color and texture combination. We were in and out of the store in 35 minutes, measured and all. Only took 10 minutes on the return pick up visit. Very smooth. It was refreshing getting exceptional service. This was my first suit purchase and I was having anxiety looking for a suit. I have a wedding coming up on the 22nd and Kathleen was very patient from start to finish. She took the time to have me try on multiple sizes to make sure I had the perfect fit. From 36 to 38s to a 38. We figured the 38 fit better. She has a good eye for color variations. I have been everywhere in sacraments it seems, just trying to find the perfect suit for my wedding. I found a few but the lack of customer service pushed me away. I walked in Hugo last week and was instantly greeted by Seth. He was all smiles and really REALLY knew his stuff. He knew my shirt, pants size and even my neck size just by looking. Tripped me out then he guessed my shoe size. And was on point in all. I've never seen that. He has an eye for style. Timeless style. He put a suit together and even my fiancé (who's is a clothes designer) absolutely loved and was impressed as well. I bought it on the spot. I've always been a huge fan of the Hugo Boss brand and really like that a retail location has opened locally. There are potentially some higher quality brands out there, but for an average guy like myself, Boss is the epitome of stylish and high quality menswear. Before the opening of this store the only local options were a limited selection at Nordstrom's or ordering online. If you've been to a Boss location in SF or elsewhere you will notice that the Roseville location is a smaller one and does not include the complete selection you might find else where. That said, the location does carry a decent selection of shirts (both causal and dress), jeans, pants, suits, shoes, belts and sunglasses. A side note here is that this location only carries a men's clothing unlike some of the other locations that have some women's apparel as well. None of the products Boss sells are cheap, but to me it just goes back to you're getting what you're paying for. Personally, I find that the Boss dress shirts fit and wear better than anything else I've ever owned. Beyond the quality products, this Hugo Boss retail outlets also offers great service. I have shopped here on several occasions over the last year and Katheryn, who must be a manager or at least an assistant manager, has mostly been the person that has helped me. She is very friendly and helpful, never pushy and always provides exceptional customer service. All of the other employees I've met here have been great as well. read more

This store has the finest selection of men's clothing in the area. All of the clothing is very high quality and has a European influence. I've been in a few times and all of the employees are professional. Go and ask for Joseph, he is usually there and very knowledgeable. He knows fashion and even though they didn't have a suit in my size he showed that he really did care for my needs. I was offered wine once and espresso another. Felt like i was back at home in Greece. Overall best experience in a store. I love the Boss Orange sneakers that i bought and will shop again. read more

Great shop for guys looking to buy nice suits. Ok, first, let's start; Hugo Boss is not cheap BUT what I personally feel they are of good quality. I went into the store looking for two suits, one for a friends wedding and one for my own in Nov of 2015. Upon entering, I was greeted by Nils and (who I am assuming) the manager of the store. Both were nice and let me shop by myself for a little bit before they came up to me asking if I had any questions. I then asked them I was looking for two suits and Nils went to work for me. He pulled out at least 4 suits for me to try on to get my fit. There are many different suit cuts within the store and each one has a specific body fit. Apparently my body fits their "James" cut. Once we found the cut, he then proceeded to give me different colors to try out. Once we decided the suit I am going to wear for my friends wedding, we then tried on different tuxes. The "James" suit fits me like a dream right off the rack. I need to make some alternations which are done in house to finish off the suit's fit and finish. I then asked him, since my own wedding will be outdoors during the day, would a tux or a black suit be better? After trying on a bunch of different tuxes and suits, I decided to table that decision since I have months to finally decide. But the entire time, Nils as well as the manager, both gave me tips and showed a genuine interest to make sure I look great. So after about 40 minutes of suit trying, I decided to get the dark blue plaid suit Nils recommended (with some alternations done in store) and then will come back later this year to decide on tux versus suit. I'm sure readers of this review already can see I am more than happy with the level of service AND quality of products. I'm writing this review to commend Joseph at this location. He offered very honest opinion about what looked best on my fiance, not once did we feel that he was trying to flatter in order to close the sales of higher priced items. Since we don't know much about suits, he was very patient explaining everything and answering all my questions. Besides being very knowledgeable about his products and menswear in general, Joseph had impeccable taste. I would love to steal his closet for my fiance! He also offered us drinks several times during our 2 visits and even refilled our glasses of water later! It's not that common to find someone who's on top of his game AND provide top notch customer service when we didn't look like we were gonna buy anything from him. We ended up getting two suits during the great private sale, which we wouldn't have known if not for Joseph. I would highly recommend this store and Joseph to everybody! read more

The customer service at this store is superlative; they had it all laid out and ready to go when I arrived. After going to 5 or 6 stores in the Sacramento area, Hugo Boss was the only one I found with good tuxedo shirts you can try on in the store that look great and everything. Robele ironed my rented tux from another store and made it all nice and prepped it for me to travel down to San Diego.
