I've had the privilege to shop throughout the country and overseas. Today was by far the worst customer service I've experienced. First & foremost, I planned on purchasing brand new cologne. I walk into the store and immediately say, "Hello Ma'am how are you today." I get simple response of "Fine." As I proceeded to check out all the cologne on display, I didn't find a cologne strip or parchment to spray any of the colognes. There was no sincere gesture, suggestion, or recommendation. I literally stood there like I was staring at the back wall with no representative in front of me. At this point, I grabbed the new line of Hugo Boss and sprayed the inside of my forearm. I was ready to purchase the item, however since the rep did nothing to entice the purchase or ask whether I liked the product, I put down the bottle. At this moment, the rep turned to her coworker and started having a side conversation. I want to thank you for showing your true colors today. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately, as he was helping another customer. I found the shoe on display and checked the price - gulp. I told him I'd be right back. Ran over to the large higher end department store in the mall, found an Italian made shoe of the same type for 30% less. When staff brought it out, the toe of the shoe was uneven with a texture like orange peel or goose bumps on the toe. I asked to see another pair, but it was very crowded and he didn't have time. I decided to spend the extra. Upon returning and being fitted by Dylan, in close examination of the shoe, I saw a slight texture similar to what was on the less expensive shoe. In rechecking the display model, I saw it also had a similar slight texture. These are highly polished shoes, but I've never owed a pair, so I don't know if this is typical. I specifically wanted patent leather, rather than a man-made or plastic upper. Dylan was very patient and customer service focused. I decided to purchase the shoes and he offered to lace and polish them, which I appreciated and accepted. He was very thorough in the sales process: offering shoe trees, socks, etc. Excellent service all the way around.

I don't shop here very often, but I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient the self-checkout was. When my son saw his new shoes he got excited. Unfortunately, he said they felt a little too tight. Thankfully, returning them was a quick and easy process with no hassle. I had heard about Vuori's buttery soft fabrics and cozy loungewear, but experiencing it firsthand in the store truly exceeded my expectations. Since I was unfamiliar with their products, I brought several and I mean several items to the fitting room. Throughout my visit, multiple friendly associates assisted me, but Le stood out as exceptional. Le was kind, patient, funny, and knowledgeable, setting me up in the largest fitting room and regularly checking in with a smile. Le consistently brought me different sizes and made me feel truly valued from start to finish. The checkout process was just as wonderful, with Le helping me and even offering a hug for Mother's Day. Customer service can be unpredictable these days, but my experience at Vuori was outstanding. She answered me briefly but when I walked away she walked over to her coworker and began to talk about how my question was dumb and how sad it was that the US literacy rate has gone down. Obviously I was not going to cause a scene in the store, but I think it's insane for workers to be on the clock and disrespecting customers who are right next to them. Nope, but if I did Amazon has a house brand for $14.99, for 5 pairs. My Yelp Elite spouse did buy an insulated rain jacket here last year. Well made, comfortable, She likes it. $189. And here again my snark, the same type of jacket on Amazon is $35. I'll concede that the Orvis jacket might be better quality. Probably not $154 better because both it and the Amazon cheapie are made in China.
