It's a shared parking lot with other shops. We were seated immediately. Servers were super nice. They checked on us multiple times. They have no paper menus and these wont be coming back. You scan a qr code and it leads you to their website. Also the free style soda machine has been taken out. Food is fresh. Decent selection available. And they have sauces at the corner. The sauce collection is almost as large as the food selection. That said, the sauces are decently spiced. I managed to make a mixture that was to my liking. The ingredients are replenished quickly. And the meat is kept frozen and thinly sliced so it cooks in a decent amount of time. There is a large stove top that is like a circle and it's amazing watching the chefs dance around the grill cooking your meal. That said I would like to caution ppl who has food allergies to reconsider eating here. Maybe they do special cooking for those but what I saw was that they walk round the grill/ stove flip the food and walk to the next. Grill is cleaned with water after each plate is served but whilst cooking- they move from one portion to the next just "wiping" the utensils on the side of the grill/stove. But as long as you don't have food allergies, its an amazing experience. I didn't really like the hot and sour soup - tasted more like peppery carrot soup. The egg rolls and the food was nicely done. Crispy but looked like it was wrapped by a beginner. I made a mixture of pork, beef, mixture of vegetables, noodles and ultra spicy sauce. I would come back again- I just wouldn't order the soup. Tried a new place for Asian this evening. We hadn't had Mongolian grill in quite awhile. We where greeted at the door and seated immediately. Our waiter offered showed us the appetizer menu and asked for our drink order. We made our way to the grill. The selection was impressive and it all looked fresh. We visited this location for dinner. The restaurant was clean . We were seated right away. The waitress was friendly. She was not very attentive. The buffet was well stocked and fresh. The grill crew kept the grill clean and were efficient. The only complaint was the signage for the sauces. The labels were poorly placed and confusing. Overall is was ok. read more

My first visit to this Huhot in Lincoln. We originally went to Village Inn for dinner but left because we were standing in front for over 5 minutes and was ignored by the server. Huhot wasn't crowded and they had more staff working than Village Inn. Service was pretty quick, ordered the usual salad, rice, and egg rolls. The line was minimal with the selection bar. I usually get in line for the cooking portion within a minute since I don't read recipes with the sauces and oils placed on top of your toppings. By the time I arrived back, the salad wasn't looking very well prepared. The manager came by and instantly corrected this. Michele, the server seemed nice but made several mistakes along the way, including the inability to show our reward points and redeem the egg rolls from points accumulated. This was the main reason for the lowered Yelp ranking. read more

I really like the food here! Everything is clearly marked and each time I've been, well stocked and fresh! The numerous sauce mixtures can be a little intimidating, but it's great that they have easy to read ratios for the different and most popular combinations. The only thing that keeps this place from 5 stars for me would be that the dining area gives off a low tech, cheap, and borderline dirty vibe. I always opt for takeout. read more

They had a fresh large selection and even have tofu for those seeking a meatless lunch or dinner. They had a variety of meats including fish as well . So many new sauces too! Very clean, fresh selections of "create your own plate" The manager was there the day we went, the grill chef was friendly and quick to try out whatever picky requests we had made, the grill chef asked his manager a question regarding out request to make sure the food would come out right (big kudos that he cared to ask) the manager then took the challenge and made us some fried tofu himself. It was perfect. If certain things you mix don't come out right, remember you put the ingredients in yourself lol. I love Asian food, and HuHot Mongolian Grill delivers a good mix of ingredients for this make your own Mongolian (combination stir fry) dinner. Meat choices include beef, chicken, crab, shrimp, and pork. They also have Tofu for the vegetarians out there. They also have 15 different kinds of sauce to mix and match. I recommend using about 4-5 ladles of sauce and 1 of oil, like garlic, sesame, or chili oil. This method usually results in a tasty dinner. Another tip, you can get HuHot to-go. Simply walk in, tell the front person or bartender you would like to order to-go, they can get you a to-go box, and you can use 2-3 bowls to fill with meat/veggies/noodles/sauce and have them combine them all. They will cook it and fill your to-go box and you can pay, and take it home. I can usually eat 2 meals off this large portion size so its a good value. read more

Slop-o chop-o the restaurant; what a disappointing and frankly disgusting experience it is to eat at an establishment like Hu Hot. Bland sauces, terrible cooking practices, and meat so cheap you can see where the jockey was whipping it before it was sliced thin and frozen months earlier. We like the other hu hot location in town. But we just ate at this location and it was real bad. The kid working the grill acted like he was stoned out of his mind. He seriously moved like he was underwater. It would have been amusing except it means he barely moved the food around the grill. I noticed he only flipped my food once and didn't stir through it at all. Usually the cooks are energetic, stirring and chopping and flipping. This guy did none of that. Just turned it once then slid it on the plate. The result, raw, bright pink, slimy pork. My first bite still had small ice crystals in it. When you don't stir the meat it can stack up and there where pieces that didn't even see the grill. Then when he pulled my 3 year olds plate he slit the mucky side of his spatula across the plate leaving a black sticky smear all down one side. So gross. He didn't seem to notice any of this. read more

We were greeted right away and seated at the table of our choice, wait staff is fantastic! Everything was great until I turned my food in for the young lad to cook on the grill. I asked for it to be well done, but kid did not respond or acknowledge it, first plate kinda sucked. I decided to do it one more time and specifically asked the kid to over cook my plate and he acknowledged this time around but food came out cold again. My meal was taken off the bill after I talked to the manager and he was very nice as well. I doubt I will bring my family there again. read more

We took the kids here last night and my wife forgot her purse at home. She ordered a drink and they carded her with her 19-year-old daughter sitting next to her. and she is pushing a half century and they wouldn't serve her. I protested a little and the server went and asked his manager and he said they could could not serve her. The manager was too much of a sissy to come over and tell us him self and we were Pleasant about it. We all 4 had the grill one appetizer fir the table. two beers one soda it was over $100. With tax and tip. The bowl of rice they brought out was about half full and enough for about a half of one of my portions. Every time I go to this restaurant I feel super rushed and the grill dudes do not seem happy even after I tipped them three times. No the food isn't great, and there a higher amount than you're used to on the floor. Whatever. Your kids like it. Then the bill comes! Whoa! It's solidly 30% more than you were expecting. Your mind begins to wander to all the places you COULD have went for this much money. Now you're hacked off, and your waitress (who at first glance appears to have made several bad life decisions) is for some unknown reason reminding you to try the appetizers on your next visit, and trying to sign you up for some kind of rewards program. My only dissatisfaction was the gentleman (who appeared to be the Manager) spoke very rudely and gruffly to the guys cooking. Awesome food. You make your own bowls so if you make a bowl you didn't like as much, change it up! I'm personally fond of the hotter sauces, especially Khans revenge. It's always a treat to try their rotating sauce of the seasons also. Service has always been fast, even when super busy, and always quick to refill a drink. It is one of my and my daughters favorite resturaunts. Hard to judge the food because generally if you don't like it, it is your fault. It pretty much comes down to how well the cook cooks your food. It's been a quite some times since my food was overcooked. For the service, all I look for as a customer is that my drink doesn't run empty (as I enjoy really spicy food, running out of water can suck!). Usually not an issue. I used to love this place until my recent visit. It was decently busy so I expected the service to be a little slow. We didn't get greeted at our table for 14 minutes. Our server, Deoni, was standing around, cleaning tables, talking to other servers, helping her other tables, recognized our table, but never bothered to come over. There were tons of tables that came in after us that were greeted by their servers almost immediately. Other servers even saw our table multiple times and never bothered to help us or get our server. We also never got refills or our rice. We never got asked if we wanted desert either. It took over 10 minutes for her to bring the check to us too. read more
