Food is always delicious and the grill guys are worth the tip. It's a fun place to eat with all the choices. I wish the management would take a look at staffing. I can't decide if there are too many people who don't know what their job is, or just some who actually want to do their job, or if it's just flat out understaffed. Service is slow and sometimes gone. You can wait 20 minutes for a drink or a check. And the floor and general areas are often dirty. Not the food areas, but the dining room can be a real mess. This is only if the few locations that has brown rice. I wish they could get the dining room under control! read more

Great place to go eat. This was my 1st time there and I enjoyed all the selection of ingredients they had and the spicy sauces. You go through the line selecting the ingredients and you give the plate to the cook. The cook was great. He is a old Caucasian cook and was great at his job and every knowledgeable &hospitable. Great idea but small bowls and the completely over cooked the food. The meat should be in a different bowl as should the sauce. The beef was destroyed with 5 minutes on the grill and the sauce evaporated. No flavor, tough and a waste of time. read more

My first experience at any Mongolian Grill. I have no desire to return as it just was not for me. When it comes to the many sauces, it would make things so much better if you could taste test those you found interesting. Choosing the wrong sauce can take all those great veggies and make them taste like something that came out of an old can. Yes, there are descriptions, but nothing beats the ol taste bud testing method. When I asked my server about this, she just told me I can make as many trips back to the sauce corral as I needed to find that right flavor. I had a few trips back and tried a few different sauces but again, no combination or single sauce was personally satisfying to me. So my review is for the sauces (you can't really screw up the veggies, right) and for it only. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. If you're into this type of restaurant, I'm sure you'll enjoy this place. read more

Not getting the food cooked enough today! Begin with cold breaded chicken didn't want to be a nuisance so I dealt and asked for the next to be cooked longer, tried just some meat and potatoes cold took it back ......had to make a new plate got it to the table, the potatoes were still fridge cold. I am a HuHot rewards member and this experience was terrible. Took over 15 minutes to get a server the waited almost that long for our soup which arrived luke warm. Then the overcooked my meal. Noodles were dried out from over cooking and the Chicken was hard and over cooked. When I complained all I got was an "I'm sorry" and them brought the bill with no deduction. So I went and talked to the "manager" a kid about 21 who said the same thing and then walked away. So I will NEVER go to this HuHot again. EVER! read more

First of all food was amazing! Very creative and yummy. I definately left full! However, service and atmosphere were awful. Our server forgot our drinks, then our salads. Ugh! We didn't see him most of our visit. The manager that night was upset at the waitresses and would pull them over behind our table to interrogate them all on missing money. He was so loud my husband got up and asked him to take the arguing somewhere else. (Super unprofessional!) FINALLY our check arrived. I quickly gave the server my card. When he returned for a signature, I realized we were charged for appetizers. (Dang, I should have looked!) He wasn't sure how to correct he transaction so off he went for what felt like an eternity. Our entertainment was watching the prep cooks come out to converse with their co-workers while eating donughts. We were ready to go!! This was our first time to HuHot and it was what you would expect from a Mongolian grill and better than many we have tried. Wide array of choices of meats, veggies, and one of the largest saucing selections i have ever seen. It is all you can eat, so you can keep going back for more and switch it up each time (and they have a take-out option if you want. Our waitress couldn't have been sweeter. The problem with this place is the manager (Adam). He is a total jerk. He dresses down sweet people working there for his own self aggrandizement. To the owner of this franchise, call me when you find a humane boss. Because he is such a horrendous manager, the place is not clean and it just isn't appetizing. I took my first trip to HuHot a couple of days ago. Except for some restaurant (not food) cleanliness issues described below, this was a fantastic restaurant. Cleanliness issues: When we sat down, our table was not completely clean and we had to ask the host to reclean it and the booth seats. The small space between the seat and back of the booth had many visible crumbs. The floor of the entire restaurant was filthy. Everything to do with food was immaculate (silverware, plates, bowls, etc.). This should be an easy improvement or easy to overlook. Good Points Food was of excellent quality with many choices. Meat choices included chicken, beef, pork, "Krab," Tilapia, sausage (x2). There were many, many noodles and fresh vegetables to add in. The food area was VERY clean and well tended by staff. Variety - Many different sauces of very high quality. Sauce area was clean. You could eat here for 1000 years and never have the same thing twice. We didn't order sodas but as others have noted they have one of those Coke machines that allows nearly unlimited flavors and varieties. Service: Wait service was excellent. The guys cooking the food were excellent. We will definately go back. My son wants to take his first date here and my younger daughter wants to hold a birthday party here. Picky eaters will leave happy. One more potential improvement: The clean bowls to add the raw food were wet and had a tablespoon of water in them. Good food that you get to create! You can go off of their premade meals off of cards at the front, or just go crazy with your own combonation. So your enjoyment factor is absolutely linked with how you did combining your flavors. They do a great job of also being able to cater to people with allergies, by keeping a specific slice of their oven free and for people needing that. They have a good amount of protein to chose from and an even larger assortment of veggies to go after. You make your own sauce and then bam, you have your user created meal. I like HuHot. You pick out your protein, your noodles, your veggies, your sauces, then watch as somebody cooks it up for you on an enormous, rotating grill. There are recipe cards at the beginning of the line for newbies or the uninspired, but you're free to be as creative as you want! The reason I don't go more often is because I feel like $14 is sort of a lot, considering the quality of the meat (dehydrated strips of chicken, pork, and beef that are nearly identical, and chunks of "krab"). That said, everything tastes pretty good underneath Five Village Fire Szechuan sauce. Most recently I went for lunch. The service was great, the food tasted good, and the lines were short. Food is generally good. But tonight my complaint is about the closing procedures. If you have more than 4 active tables getting food, perhaps it would not be a good time to clean the cook area, and break down the ingredient line. The staff created multiple safety issues with washing the floors, and also putting freshly clean cooking area tools, on the floor and directly in front of walkways. I understand that you want to go home, but you're creating an uninviting atmosphere, and safety issues. If one of my kids would have fell, we would be having a different conversation. read more

Attended their VIP lunch a day before they opened. Bowls were much smaller than other MBBQs I've been too, but it keeps people from ordering more than they'll eat and you can always go back. I went with the Pad Tai marinade (modified it s bit to stay healthy), and had a great meal. Came back a week later and had a repeat positive experience. This place was awesome!!! From the minute I walked in, till the moment I walked out, my experience was top notch. I was greeted by Jennifer, who was my server. She was bright, bubbly and full of energy. I've eaten Mongolian BBQ in the past, so I knew what to expect. Jennifer walked me through the sauces and gave a few suggestions on some of her personal favorites. I then had the decision of what to drink. Usually, I'll save a couple of bucks, and just have a water, but it's not often that you get a hundred different drink combos to go with the choices you face when you walk up to start your dining experience. I ordered a Vanilla Coke, since I don't usually get that as a drink choice while out. One of the cool things I noticed was that they had little recipe cards at the start of the line with different combos that you can try. The meat choices were your usual...beef, chicken, pork, and crab. All the choices looked good, but I always go for pork. The veggie choices were vast, and for you picky eaters out there, you can't complain if its not made to your liking...since this is a choose your own adventure dining experience. After carefully picking the veggies I wanted, I added my sauces and oils, and went back to the line to add the noodles. A tip for those of you who haven't eaten here...always add your noodles last. They help hold everything in your bowl. As this an all you can eat, don't be one of those schmucks who bellies up the the cooking area with two bowls. It takes up more room on the grill, and remember, you can come back for more. I ended up having three servings, though on my second trip, I wasn't happy with the sauce combo, so I only tried about three bites. Jennifer kept returning to my table to ask how I liked the food, and was genuinely interested in what I was saying..did I mention she was awesome?! I wish I lived near this place (I live inLas Vegas, and was only in North Logan for the day. My girlfriend and kids would like this place as well. You guys should definitely consider opening one in Vegas!! I can't wait to visit again, as I will definitely be coming back here!! So impressed with this place!! Everything was perfect. Our server was Tim, and he greeted us right away, got our drink orders and gave us a breakdown of how HuHot works. We then got up and made our bowls- the selections of meat, noodles, veggies and sauces was fantastic! All super fresh and plentiful. The "grill master" then quickly grilled the food up for us! It was DELICIOUS! Unlike most all you can eat restaurants, HuHot does not make you finish your entire plate before getting another one. If you don't like something you made, you can just go make another bowl! Overall SUPER impressed with this place! The service, the atmosphere and the food was awesome and I will definitely be back. I normally cringe at the idea of going out with anymore than 4 people. Big parties and separate checks make me feel really uncomfortable, but it was no problem at all. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. There were so many 'suggestion' cards - basically dish ideas put together with sauce suggestions. It's a great idea for those not used to the Mongolian BBQ idea. I chose one my first round. Can't tell you what it was, but it was good. The second trip, I just winged it. They also offer soup or salad which really is an unnecessary addition to the meal and actually came out toward the end of our meal. I could have easily done without it and looking back, I would have said thanks, but no thanks. Some others in out party ordered rice and I'm not sure of it was an extra charge, but I think a little side of rice is a tasty addition. Yum, carbs! Best if all, $12.99. Start by picking your proteins and adding vegetables and sauces to your creation and then hand it off to the cook to prepare the dish for you. Go back often as you like to experiment in creating your own dishes. The selection of veggies and meats are pretty large and fresh. The frozen meat is a little odd.
