Their food is always delicious and flavorful. Quality ingredients they use and prepare very pretty plates. The service to order is quick and time to table. I go weekly!

Food is great! Some good solid vegan options as well. Highly recommend. They have more than just ramen.

They have a short, Korean menu inside the standard menu, though it misses out on the banchan. Service is polite and swift food is well done and fresh. For some reason they like to seat everybody at the four tops near the bathrooms, which puts me off.

Service at Takara Sushi wasn't overly friendly nor welcoming but prompt enough. Given that most of…read moretheir sushi rolls run with a "50% off" price promotion, though some don't, so it's a little confusing to order, but not a bad experience either. Yet we felt the quality for price was generally pretty reasonable: $46 for six rolls -- even if with as big a menu it wasn't wholly easy for us all to remember their names when they just put them all together and served them up family style. (Visually more appealing though.) Furthermore the edamame were edamame (good) but the Monkey Ball ($5) -- an interesting fried crunchy ball of spicy tuna, mushroom, and surimi was a hit. Nigiri were fine -- but a little weird to be served as singles. I'd bump Takara to 4-stars (maybe 4.5 for the grade of food for price) if it wasn't for the poor texture and value on the small bowl of Katsudon ($18) -- based on that I'd hesitate ever to order from their Entrees part of the menu again. It was served a jumbled mess with too much carrot, thin-style (rather than juicy style) katsu pork cutlet, and onions not cooked well enough in the sweet-savory dashi broth. And no egg cooked over top like the Japanese tradition. A complete fail in my view. Yet sushi did rescue it for most and thus I'd be open to visiting again. $100 with tax and 18% tip for five wasn't a bad Japanese eating-out proposition. 3-3.5 stars.

We were in town for business and came here for dinner…read more The service was very good and the ramen I got was in point. Another great restaurant in the Ogden UT area.

It is about a two-hour trip on transit each way for me to get here, but since I had the day off, I wanted to make the journey specifically to visit this location and walk around the area. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I walked in right when they opened at 11:00 AM. Despite being one of only two tables in the entire, huge restaurant, the service was chaotic and aggressive. The staff was openly arguing and yelling at each other across the kitchen and floor because they couldn't remember what was on the specific ramen I ordered--which is wild considering the menu only has about 10 options. The food itself fell totally flat. They warned me the broth wasn't fully ready/hot when I ordered, but even when it arrived, it was lukewarm. It was steaming, but nowhere near the piping-hot temperature required for a good bowl of ramen. Worse, the spinach in the bowl was incredibly gritty, meaning the kitchen didn't even bother to wash it properly. To top it off, I was completely rushed out the door. I was asked if I needed a fork for my soup (which happens every time), and while I was actively eating with a quarter of my bowl still left, the waitress interrupted to ask if I wanted dessert. When I shook my head because my mouth was full, she just said she'd be right back and slapped the check on my table. It was barely 11:30 AM and the restaurant was empty--there was zero reason to push me out. Frankly, this was unacceptable. I'll probably stick exclusively to the Farmington location from now on, even though the service there isn't great either. At least the kitchen staff there doesn't treat paying customers to a live workplace argument.
