Saturdays are Italian days I guess cuz they had the pastas in the middle with the everyday foods surrounding it like the fried chicken and stuff but anyways I just wanted to share that if you get the Alfredo pasta add some of the fried shrimp in there and cover it with some sauce it's so good The inside is the same as the others with that old Pioneer type rock-me-mama-like-a-wagon-wheel feeling and it always feels good going to Uncle Chuck's cuz I know what to expect on the menu and we'll leave full and satisfied and maybe with an ice cream cone and scones or two or three lol Five Stars every time! This place has gone so far downhill. The food was terrible. We used to love eating here. The service is fine, not very friendly but it was okay. The atmosphere is gross because it's like it isn't been cleaned in a decade. I literally can't believe this place is still in business after this last experience here. Nice clean buffet. Lots of choices and different every night. Their chicken fried steak is spot on. Well worth the price.

I was worried it would be yucky since it's a buffet, but all the food was really good! We went for seafood night and they had nice options for fish and shrimp, I also ate steak and chicken which were lovely. They have good sauce options and tons of options for the salad bar. read more

This is another review for chuck a Rama buffet we had gone on Friday night which I check the website it's was Friday seafood specialty. They had two kinds of fried shrimp one being coconut prawns which we excellent. They had prime rib and also clam chowder being Friday's. Everything fresh love endless salad bar and create your own salads. They do great job and we continue going here is great treat for families. read more

Went for a nice birthday dinner just to be grossed out. I watched as an employee proceeded to scrap up cake crumbs from the counter and around the plate and place them on the cake plate with the cake. I then told one of the hostess. Went back to my seat told my family and was done eating. The employee then came to our table explained what she was doing and what I had witnessed. She proceeded to say her ungloved hands where sanitary and that she didn't place them on the cake it's self and said sorry. I then told her no hands are sanitary and that was un-acceptable. People still use a cake server and would still possibly get those crumbs with their dessert. read more

We had a large grout of people today. Even with such a very large amount of people at one time. The workers were smiling and over the top helpful. Kept all dishes cleared off tables. Made sure there was plenty of fresh hot food at every station. The atmosphere was clean. They were able not only to deal with our large group but other guest were there at the same time as our group. Don't go expecting gourmet; do go expecting lots of choices for not a lot of money and good service for a buffet. (Drinks are included in the buffet price of $10.99.) Went by myself for a weekday lunch. Waitress offered to get my soda (and all refills after) since my hands were full. My empty plates were promptly removed from the table, and I also overheard her (Kara is her name) offering to check on a particular flavor of cookie some senior citizens at the next table wanted. Knowing she would probably only getting tipped a dollar per person since it was a buffet, I thought she went over and above. (I left a healthy dip since I've waited more than my fair share of tables.) Special of the day was BBQ - ribs (good), chicken, ranch beans (very good), potato salad (good), smoked sausage. They also had a regular salad bar with LOTS of dressing choices, a pre-made salad bar (I tried about 5 of them and enjoyed the broccoli salad the most), a "regular" food bar w/fried chicken, pot roasted turkey, bread dressing (a little overseasoned), spaghetti (skip it - noodles overcooked and sauce bland), breads, soups and a dessert bar & sundae bar. If you ration yourself to a spoon of everything that looks good/interesting, there's no reason you can't get lots of choices and leave there full. I'd definitely go back if I had a party with diversified taste buds I had to feed on a budget. read more

I was there a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my family. They were busy. The manager (Hispanic female) seated us at a table for six. We only had 4 in our group. She said we had to share the table with 2 people we did not know. I told her we would not and she argued with me. She finally fixed the issue. For two consecutive weeks we brought in our tour group of 48 passengers (on one day notice each time) and we're able to be all fed and out the door in 1 hour. Not only is that speed a necessity for us, the variety of choices and cleanliness of the restaurant were both top-notch. Chuck-a-rama was part of my "loneliest Thanksgiving ever" yesterday, and you know, it was pretty good. The restaurant itself was insanely busy. The parking lot was packed and spilled over into an adjoining lot, and there was a line to the door. The wait to be seated was 30 minutes. NOT the meeting place for friendless orphans I thought it would be at all, instead an apparent haven for families who do not want to cook. The buffet was loaded with all the favorites. Great stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and fresh, warm rolls. They were carving turkey from a loaf, which was a little disappointing, though I suppose it isn't feasible to cook enough actual turkeys for that kind of crowd. The pumpkin pie was gross. Drinks are located on the buffet, perfectly accessible by patrons, but the waitresses prefer to bring them to you, perhaps to legitimize their role and earn tips. Buffet meals are not usually my favorite, but in this instance it was perfect. Even though I couldn't be with my family yesterday, it was nice to gorge myself on the traditional holiday fare. read more

Beware the sanitary conditions. We were going to eat here with family today (6/30/16), but when we walked in, there was a man in line with no shirt. The cashier took his money and let him into the restaurant with his family. I couldn't believe it. My husband pointed out to the cashier that this behavior is extremely unsanitary and that there is a sign in plain sight stating that shoes and shirts must be worn. She said she would find a manager to take care of it. If this restaurant hires front-line employees that don't have enough common sense to require a patron wear a shirt, I shudder to think what other sorts of things could be going on here. Needless to say, we turned around and left. I was already iffy about going to this sort of restaurant, but now I'll be absolutely certain to stay away. read more

A good solid three stars. This is a good place to go when people are wanting different foods. You can have pizza, fried chicken, fish, pasta, and all kinds of sides. There's a big fresh salad bar too. We happened to visit during corn season. They had signs that said they were serving locally grown corn. That day, we got to eat fresh bicolor sweet corn on the cob. It was delicious! Way to support the local growers, Chuck! My favorite part is choosing from the different drinks, like whipped drinks and ICEEs. Those drinks turn out to be pricy for what I'm paying for lunch. read more

My favorite place!! It's so delicious! It can get busy around 6-7pm, so having a reservation would be much quicker. It can get a bit crowded and loud, which is bothersome to me. I have claustrophobia and anxiety, so it would be nicer if they didn't try to put so many tables and chairs in any space they can find for business. I like this place. Reasonably priced and a nice selection of food that tastes good. Some nice unexpected choices...a lot of variety for a smaller buffet. They have basics each day/night, and then special foods for each night of the week, like Friday night is seafood, and there's an Italian night and maybe a Mexican...I forget, but the menu is on their website. Buffets are usually not my first choice, but had a good experience here! Nothing like I remembered buffets to be like. The restaurant was clean, there were many food options, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant is updated and there was someone walking around cleaning up. The area around the food is kept tidy as well. There were many options and I liked that all the food was in one area; you didn't have to go to the other side of the restaurant just to get something different. The one thing that I didn't like was that they have one "main dish" that changes every day. I was hoping for some oriental food when I went but the main item was seafood which was unfortunate. One other bad thing is I felt like there were a lot of blind corners so you had to walk slowly and carefully back to your table so you didn't run into someone, especially with a lot of children running around. Our party of seven + two short kids met at Chuck a Rama for Thanksgiving. The line was out the door and into the parking lot. We expected that. We started with a booth and a large table. As soon as another table was free the tables were put together for us.The food is always good. I'm sure the kitchen was running to capacity or beyond. Our server, Alexis was great. As busy as she was we never were neglected. She really did make our Thanksgiving even better. Thank YOU to all the staff and management at the Logan location. We are glad you were there for us. We were visiting from CA for a camp at Utah state university. Passed by and saw building and figured it has to be pretty good. We came back for dinner and it was nothing like we thought it would be. Food was at the best average. Didn't get an upset stomach so that's a good thing. However the rolls were good and I had never seen an icee machine in a buffet before. That was cool, no punt intended lol. Service was friendly. Can't complain too much, it was just ok. I probably won't eat here again, even if my step-daughter goes to the university out here. Me and my wife ate here on average of once a week since I retired from military in January. My wife had stomach surgery which causes her to eat 4-6 bites before her new tiny stomach is full. She forgot her card at home today stating she had surgery. But our server ROSE got in her face and cussed us out for paying the children's rate that they ALWAYS been. Manager a female ( according to a worker she in back)refused to see us. She told someone to tell us to leave. Our service is going elsewhere from now on. We will not be back and neither will our friends. Now I know why it is usually empty. These people ruined my nice day and my wife because there disgusting attitude. read more

I have never been more impressed by a waiter at Chuck a rama than I was yesterday. Bill was our waiter, he was so personable, friendly, and made sure we had everything that we needed. Not only did he get our drinks and keep them full the whole time we were there, he made sure we had plenty of silverware too. I was very impressed.
