One cook and long line of people

Spills on floors- cups are all chipped- 3 people working 2 of them are actively on a date right now!!! ( the girls were in the bathroom complaining their about their dates who turn out to be the employees) One person at grill. Refused to do the allergy separation because we didn't have a red plate- but no one asked or offered a red plate when we were serving up. One person actually working and he is in a foul mood! Paid nearly $100 to bring family to a nice meal and we can't get an allergy plate!!! Waiting in line for our food to be cooked for over 20 minutes. It's all you can eat but we can't get through the line to get food- and cook won't use the allergy guard So unhappy!!!

The food was well stocked looked clean. The cooks were boring but did a good cook on my meal. Sauces and oils are amazing. The vegi's where crisp and clean. I can't complain about a thing.

This food is amazing and the workers their are even better. The kind cook who cooked are food was so much helpful and he had glasses and lightening boot tattoos and a beard and dark hair, he was a tall man and was super cute. My oldest sister about got his number but didn't, if he see's this then have him contact me for my sister. I didn't quite catch his name but this guy was a rlly hard worker and deserved a big raise.

Great water glasses. They are refilled often. They do provide straws for sanitation purposes. I'm pleased.

Pretty good food, just a little pricey. I think it was about $13.99 per person, I could only eat about $9.99 worth of food at one sitting.

They use the same spatula for meat dishes as they use for vegetarian ones. And go back and forth between them while cooking.

Pretty average Mongolian BBQ place, though the selection of sauces was probably the biggest I've seen. Clean and pretty wide open.

The whole family appears to work there, and everyone is so sweet and kind. The place itself is neat and clean and bright and welcoming. After looking over the menu, I decided to order a few things to try. I had the pan fried dumplings, the stirfried bok choy, and the garlic fried rice. The dumplings came out first, and we're very tasty. The stirfry bok choy was both beautiful and delicious - perfectly cooked! And the garlic fried rice... What can I say - it was delicious! There was so much of it, I had to take most of it to my hotel room for breakfast the next morning. The owner came and sat down at my table and chatted, and it was a pleasure meeting her as well as her whole family. This is a great place and when and if I pass through the area again, I will definitely eat here!

It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

Some new favorites were the Beef Teriyaki Bento dinner box, Snowbird Roll, Unagi Roll, California Roll with Tobiko, and the Boston Roll. Of course, I still stuck with some of my old favorites like their Cheese Rangoons and Spicy Crab Roll (perhaps that's why I'm still a bit of a "crab"? ;+) The beef in the Teriyaki Bento was rather surprising for a Japanese/sushi restaurant. Definitely tasted grilled/barbequed like. Not fried in a pan or cooked in the oven like all the other establishments. It had a very smoky flavor (heavenly), which definitely wasn't from the sauce (as that was teriyaki). 10/10 cooked perfectly without overdoing the included teriyaki sauce on top. Good portion size for a Bento Box that also came with steamed white rice, two orange slices, two gyoza, and a fresh salad with ginger dressing (also not overdone/oversaturated). If you are actually eating in the restaurant you also receive Miso soup with the Bento Box. The sushi rolls were all equally delicious, fresh, and good portion sizes with fresh fish both rolled and hand rolled (depending on your preference; they certainly don't disappoint). Very pleased I was in the area to give Golden Bistro another go, as now I'm craving it once again every day it seems.

I would seriously think twice before eating at Mandarin Garden Restaurant in Logan, Utah…read more We ordered an entrée to share, took ONE bite each, and immediately knew something was wrong. The meat was extremely fatty, rubbery, and so chewy that it literally had to be spit out. And the taste? The only way I can describe it is that it tasted like armpits. Absolutely awful. We immediately told our waitress. We weren't trying to get a free meal. We simply asked if we could order a different entrée because the food was genuinely inedible. Instead of taking care of a very simple customer-service issue, our waitress took the food to the back to speak with the manager. Eventually, our exact same plate of food (20 minutes later) was brought back to us cold and we were told there was nothing they could do. We then asked to speak directly with the manager of Mandarin Garden. The manager never came to our table. Not once. Instead, other employees were repeatedly sent out to argue with us while the manager remained in the back. The final response? We were told we had to pay for the entrée we had each taken ONE bite of or they would call the police. Seriously. We weren't refusing to pay for a meal we'd eaten. We hadn't eaten it. We immediately reported the problem and offered to order and pay for another entrée. We simply didn't believe we should be charged for food that was returned after two bites because of its taste, texture, and quality. What could have been solved in about 30 seconds with, "I'm sorry you didn't like it. Let's get you something else," turned into one of the worst 1-hour restaurant customer-service experiences I've had. Bad food can happen at any restaurant. How a restaurant handles it is what matters.i encourage you to read the other 1-star reviews before eating here. There is a lot of familiarity in the complaints For anyone searching for Chinese food in Logan, Utah, Chinese restaurants in Cache Valley, or reviews of Mandarin Garden Restaurant in Logan, I would absolutely consider the way this situation was handled before choosing where to spend your money. The food was bad enough. The complete lack of customer service and a manager who wouldn't even come out and speak with his customers made the experience considerably worse. There are plenty of places to eat in Logan, Utah. After this experience, Mandarin Garden will not be one I'll return to or recommend.
