We've moved using various other movers 5 times in 3 years. This is the best experience we've had so far! brought a big enough truck to actually fit all the stuff. A real moving truck, with a lift and plenty of hooks on the inside so my stuff didn't shift during transit workers hauled. Sometimes literally running between truck and the house. Made me feel like my hourly rate wasn't being exploited they used a packing system that made the move efficient. extra care and attention to precious items--like my grandmother's antique clock! We were completely screwed over by them this time! Reserved a crew almost 2 months prior to the move and had used them before. They called at 7:00 on a Friday to say they couldn't do our move the next day. We were exasperated but managed to move a lot of it by renting a Home Depot truck and getting some family help. We were counting on Hulk Movers to show up Monday morning to complete the job. (After a difficult conversation). No discount offered for a less involved job or any apology for that matter. 9:30 came and went, they rescheduled for 2:00. 2:00 came and went and on and on until 8:00 at night (storage unit closed at 9) they offer to work. [edit] *Potentially Stolen expensive and sentimental jewelry* We enlisted the help of three movers from our place in East Sacramento to a Move to new house in South Land Park and a gucci ring and Swarawoski Bracelet were stolen We enlisted the help of a total of three movers and their packing service. We specifically asked the packer and mover MULTIPLE TIMES. Not to touch, pack, or move anything in the master bedroom bathroom because it contained valuable and personal items. We stepped outside for about 20 minutes and came back to the bathroom being packed and told the packer to stop immediately. Upon going back after the move the jewelry was missing where it was clearly at before. Also of note the pearl earrings in the same drawer were moved into a holding container which would lead one to believe the jewelry was handled Other note, the one doing the packing was mentioning he wanted a gift for his wife. I offered him a king size bed and frame i was going to get rid of for free and also potentially a couch for a low price. He was very interested so i left the bed for him to get later. He took my number but never contacted me to get the free nice bed leaving it at old property for me to deal with (you can see this is suspicious) We have an approved police report so we will see. Hulk movers only offered $200 in compensation and that's ONLY OF WE SEND AN EMAIL SAYING THEY WERENT at FAULT (shady) They told us they fired the person involved but still have not offered much of anything and extremely difficult on the phone. I moved from Folsom to Midtown, 1 bed apartment to a 1 bed apartment, so approximately 800sqft + some extra for stuff I stored in closets and the garage. I hired a team of two with a truck, no packing services. The team showed up on time, were professional/friendly, worked efficiently (as far as I can tell, I was gone the entire time), and took care of my things. I did notice some small dings on a few pieces of furniture, but nothing big enough to complain about (I've moved ~15 times and never had everything escape unscathed). Most importantly nothing was broken, I didn't have to lift a finger, and they charged a very competitive rate. Total time billed was 5.5 hrs (I believe 1hr of that is drive time) which I find more than reasonable considering the first apartment was on the second floor and had stairs, and the second apartment was on the 4th floor with an elevator and controlled access. read more

These people do not value you as a customer. We booked their services weeks in advance and they took a $100 deposit from me only to get a call from them the day before our move that they will not be sending their movers. I even called the day before to confirm that we are still on and they said yes. Left us hanging with no help or solutions. Didn't even offer to reschedule or find other movers they may recommend. If you hire these people you should definitely have a back up plan because these guys will drop you like a hat if it's even slightly inconvenient for them. They were extremely fast, but I think they actually should of slowed down a little and taken more time to be careful that they didn't damage anything. They did wrap everything in cellophane and some pieces in blankets. My move was challenging in that it was mostly heavy wooden furniture and I was moving out of the house where the movers had to go through the back yard and maneuver between trees. I think the movers should of gone slower and had 2 guys at all times working on the large furniture to better watch that it did not get scratched and they should of blanketed it all before they moved it. Some of the pieces they did not blanket until they got to the truck. I also saw them drag some pieces on the ground on their sides with just cellophane. This should of never happened- and it would not of happened if they had slowed down and had 2 guys on each piece at all times. So some pieces were scratched and one piece had a large gauge. They gave me $30 off the price for the damage, but really I would of payed several hundred dollars more for them to take their time and not damage anything. read more

I hired Hulk to move my brother's one bedroom apt in Sacramento to Carson City NV. He is handicapped from after effects of a stroke. The movers, Patrick and Ramaury, showed up right on time and were efficient, helpful and very kind. I used Hulk Movers on October 1, 2021 to move from a suburban house in Elk Grove to a top floor apartment in the heart of downtown Sacramento. I was looking for a mover that had vaccinated movers, as my roommate in the Elk Grove house was very ill with lung cancer and was on oxygen. After contacting 4 local movers, and being told by all of them that "100% of our employees are proudly unvaccinated, so we can't help you", I called Nick at Hulk Movers. He was very professional, and provided me with workers who were fully vaccinated. They were on time, very polite and extremely efficient. We made the move up to my new urban loft, one worker stayed with the truck to guard my stuff, and I got moved up to the top floor smoothly.
