These people get on here and lye like a rug. The couch went into the storage without any forcing. In fact a random man off the street was able to move some things around and fit it in comfortably. As for me being able to see what the movers placed into storage that's another lie. All of my belongings were in boxes and furthermore, the TV was covered and wrapped in a blanket. Requested help from these guys to help me move from Antelope, CA to the North Natomas area of Sacramento, CA. I had a 4 bedroom house going into a 3 bedroom and a storage unit for one of the bedrooms. They first went to my house to do an estimate of how long it would take to move everything. Considering I had moved a lot of things on my own to save money. Quick advice from me, don't rely on the estimate and save at least double the amount of what you would expect to pay. I had Illia and his team, 3 total, were very professional and worked very hard to move my stuff during the heat in 110 degree weather. They packed and wrapped all the furniture, disassembled and assembled beds, and took care of all my stuff like it was their own. The only reason I could not give the full five star is because I had the moving set up for 2 different locations: first location is supposed to be a storage unit and second location to the new house. I asked to make the first trip going to the storage unit and second trip to the new house. Pretty much it didn't turn out this way and the storage unit had closing hours. What a terrible experience. Travis came out to look at all my things and give me a quote. They said I needed one 26 foot truck which I believe is the biggest they have. I should have went with a company with a larger truck. They loaded the vehicle with most of my furniture and nearly all of my boxes, loading took 7 hours. I'm six months pregnant and I was moving faster than these guys. I even caught one of them making a personal phone call to his auto insurance to ask some questions about his policy, taking his sweet ass time spelling out his name for the customer service agent. I regret paying the rate for 4 movers, most of the time two of them stood around chatting while two of them actually worked. They didn't move the two heaviest items (a massage chair and an armoire). They wrapped these items up and then spent time unwrapping them when they realized they wouldn't fit in the truck. Because of the language barrier they took down curtain rods that I had told them to leave up. Numerous boxes were smashed and I already found a broken glass kitchen item I inherited from my grandma. Took them over 3 hours to do a 2 hour drive. When questioned they admitted to stopping for dinner, we shouldn't have been charged for that time. Once to my new home, whenever they'd ask where an item goes, if I said upstairs, they rolled their eyes and said really? As if I'm inconveniencing them! DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS Bottom line, after the move we still have to rent a truck and more movers to move the things they didn't get. If they would have moved the large furniture items before all the small boxes we could have easily moved the rest in a few trips with our cars. See below to see how they wrapped a lamp they didn't end up transporting UPDATE- it was NOT recommended to me on the day of the estimate to rent two trucks or I would have. That was only recommended to me when the first truck was about to leave my house. Regarding my husbands phone call- he only spoke with Travis at 9:30 pm after the truck arrived at our new house so I'm not sure how this affecting their performance during the move. I requested a lot of quotes from different moving companies but this one was the most responsive. I paid $170 an hour for a 3 man crew. I was told by the foreman that they didn't speak any English but they spoke enough just fine. The guys were so helpful and friendly and professional. I gave a list of all the things I needed moved, so they knew what supplies to bring along, but they also moved things for me that wasn't on the list. One of the guys even helped me take down a few shelves including their screws and anchors which was not in the job description and I felt they went above and beyond. It took about 5 hours to wrap everything, load in the truck, and unload in the new home. I was very impressed with them and was glad I went with this company. I would hire them again and recommend to anyone looking for movers. I paid in cash which was a 3% discount. I was told paying with a card there would be 4% fee. The quote also included all the packing supplies - carpet runners, plastic wrap, blankets, and the cost of gas since it was local. I was surprised because almost all the other moving companies I looked at charged for that separately. There were no hidden fees or surprises at the end of the job either. If you're looking for movers that know what they're doing and will do an excellent job with your belongings I highly suggest you hire this company. read more

Travis was extremely communicative from the quote to the days/weeks leading up to the move and the day of. I had a move to a pod service that gave me a 4 hour window and could only tell me 1 hour in advance when it would be arriving; Travis was extremely flexible and made sure he and his team were prepared for whatever time the pod would arrive. His moving team was extremely friendly, efficient and communicative, as well. A lot of the move did not go as planned, due to the original storage location owners being super unhelpful and unfriendly, and me realizing that a number of things simply had to go to junk disposal due to damage in the original location. As result Travis' team had to move the items by hand to the curb outside the storage facility. They also technically had to unload and reload 3 times, but they did it with a kind nod and smile and understood that it wasn't my fault. Travis was absolutely right to recommend 3 movers, as without the third we would not have gotten done in estimated time that I required. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! read more

We had two movers help us move from 2 locations into a house. We were quoted a time estimate of 3-6 hours and it ended up taking 7.5 hours, which was definitely longer than necessary. Even 6 hours felt like it would be a little like overkill to me but I didn't imagine they'd go over by that much. We ended up having to go get more cash in the middle of the move because it was going much slower than we expected. There were several times where the two movers brought some boxes down to the truck, then went back upstairs and we didn't see them for 15-20 minutes, and then they'd come back down with a few more boxes. They were definitely not hustling or trying to get the job done quickly. They were both working on things that were a one-man task while the other could've been moving stuff. They didn't seem to have much of a strategy for packing the truck, and they would use their lift to get one box up at a time sometimes when they could definitely have done more at once. They put some miscellaneous items in a wardrobe box and needed the box back so they said they'd unpack it. We unpacked it while they moved boxes from the truck and they kept insisting they would do it, maybe just trying to be helpful but it felt like they were trying to add time. It very much felt intentional that they were taking longer than necessary since they're getting paid by the hour. I'm not sure if all the movers are like this or if we just got unlucky. Overall, they got everything done and brought into the new house in one piece which is why I give them 3 stars. They did break a light fixture at the new place while moving stuff upstairs, but I know that could be difficult to avoid. Disappointed that I feel like we were taken advantage of with the hourly rate. Honestly will not be using this company again for our next move. read more

There was one item that didn't make it to destination, but the owners took care of it quickly once I contact them. It turned out to have been left on the truck, and one of the movers delivered it to me and apologized for the oversight. They were easy to work with and get things scheduled as fluid as our closing situation was. DO NOT use this company!! Their receptionist is great and makes you think you are going with a great company but when the movers actually get there it's a whole new story. They were rude and moved as slow as snails. The movers really try and milk you for every penny. I was supposed to have them pick up from 2 locations but because they were taking so long I told them to forget it. When they unloaded my belongings I noticed they also broke items. When I reached out to the company they told me to send an email with the pictures and someone would get back to me. Well surprise surprise no one ever did. Incredibly unprofessional. I had to ask for an estimate, which once the day the estimate was due to occur, no phone calls or texts were made by the company or returned to me. We waited around all day until 7pm before they said they'd send someone out in 30 minutes. Finally they show up and appear flustered. I receive a call the next day saying they will not be able to help me with my move. I ask why, they said because I have an 84 inch TV (which I do not) and they cannot move a refrigerator from the second floor. 3 days of wasted time thanks to this company. Stay far away. read more

I ran into these awesome guys in an elevator when they were helping my neighbor with their move. Their truck was massive and fit a lot of furniture and I knew they would not require multiple trips. My lease was coming up and I took their number to have as an option. I called around for a moving company when my lease was up and their quote seemed most reasonable, so I hired them. Most of my furniture is either glass or heavy wood - everything was delivered in perfect condition and no damage. This company was great. We moved from an apartment at the second and third floor, to a one story house. I booked them a month in advance and that process was easy. At the day of the move, they arrived on time. They were able to wrap all the big items and disassemble furniture. Unfortunately there were 3 boxes that fell as they were loading them to the truck. They were very professional and transparent and let me know immediately. We spot checked the contents and let them know that I'll see if anything broke once we unpacked. A bowl did break after unpacking. Additionally, our couch got dirty/had stains from the blankets that they used. As we finished unpacking, I contacted them to let them know about the stain and broken dish. We were able to negotiate a price for cleaning and was very content. Overall would recommend them for their professionalism, efficiency, and excellent customer service. read more

We booked this company from 9 am to 10 am, but since they were coming far, we were glad they ended up coming later at 11 am but also informed us much early on as we needed to rest from last minute packing. They came, and we decided to take an extra helper because of the number of boxes we somehow ended up having along with so many furniture pieces. We felt they were quick and very efficient even though their English may not be great. But for young guys, they didn't dare slack and took their jobs seriously. One of our furniture ended up damaged. They offered to compensate a bit for the damage. It's unfortunate because we aren't going to use it anymore now. Overall, they were very kind. Three young guys did well. I will recommend this company for moving. On a side note, please put the blanket under when disassembling. Little scratches here and there are not detrimental for us even though we always try to take care of our things. But someone else may think else wise. read more

They moved us 7/31/2020. They moved everything alright... we probably won't be able to use some of the stuff they moved anymore. For example our shoe racks are all bent or missing parts. Some shelves/racks are all missing parts and now wobble to the point that they are useless. Even though I had specifically asked about them moving a treadmill and agreed to a $150 extra charge once there they decided it was something company policy didn't allow them to do which was very stressful since it was our last day at that place and caused extra stress. They had to be called back to put our door back on. For some reason they decided to wait until 12:33 that morning to send us the contract which would have been helpful to have 2 weeks prior when we hired them. We would have known they didn't fit our needs. It was terrifying to wake up our first night in our new place to our child screaming because his bed was put together incorrectly and fell through it. We were exhausted and had to look for tools in a heaping mess of a garage to put his bed together correctly. They are nice guys. Just don't expect to be able to use some of your stuff after the move. read more

Bottom line up front: AWESOME! Story to support this- I was planning on moving in May. Had friends with trucks and feeling pretty good. Roommate got us kicked out and I have two weeks to get my stuff out. My friends couldn't do it, yeah it's last minute. I review YELP, and received a lot of quotes. Pacific Movers were the only ones that had details. And they followed up (assuming automatic generated, but still). When I called, I quickly got Travis and he confirmed all quotes, answered additional questions. And when it was time to book- he was patient when I said I'd called back because I didn't have my wallet on me. The confirmation was clear and I received follow up emails leading up to the date of move. I like that! I was anxious and this put my mind at ease. Two gentlemen showed up on time. And reviewed the contract. Nothing changed. Then MAGIC! Fast, efficient, friendly. I asked if I should help. "No, no, no." I was . I had to crew drop up at my storage unit. Fast. Then to the finale destination. Fast, efficient, professional. I wish all my interactions in Sacramento were as positive as today.
