During the move, a woman from the office called to ask how things were going. I shared my concerns about their apparent lack of experience and how long I thought it might take to move my three-bedroom home. Her response surprised me. She said, "Well, we can cancel your move if you'd like." I replied that I did not want to cancel and that I would simply have to stop the move once I reached my budget. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. They arrived at 8am, smelling like ashtrays and they did get to work rather quickly. However, it was only about an hour until I smelled more cigarettes. Then they started making excuses that there wasn't enough to move, even thought all the furniture and pictures were prepared to go along with two garages full of boxes and tubs. My pregnant wife and I were working alongside them and we were finishing packing some things in the kitchen. Long story short, about seven cigarette breaks later, one of the movers had seemed to run out of gas and I felt the need to step in on some of the heavier items like a large couch which I felt shouldn't have been my responsibility for since I had communicated that with the owner prior to him coordinating the particular men who would be helping out. By the time we arrived at my new house, I had become a third member of the movers team since they had taken so many breaks while packing the truck along with the fact that now one of them was dragging energy-wise and also ended up dropping a few items which all seemed fine at the time. They ended up leaving and I didn't even get the chance to personally inspect all the items since I was completely exhausted from the move. The next day I woke up sore and had a few errands to run, then back to the house. I was moving some boxes around from room to room and noticed that a desk that's been in my family for years was split down about halfway the back of the top. So, I took a few photos and sent them to the owner of Noah's and his response was to instantly claim it had been too long and he wasn't responsible. Then he claimed that he could know if I had done it myself. Then, he stated he was refusing to take responsibility because his mover had responded back to him that he didn't think the damage was done during the move, and that we had a small refrigeration on top of it which had likely caused the crack. I let the owner know that the refrigerator was on the opposite side which was completely undamaged and that I could provide many pictures proving the location of where the refrigerator was stored since it was in the background of many photos in my phone. The owner continued to use AI assisted responses to communicate with me and refused to take responsibility. I wish he were as careful with his customer's things as he is with his communication and denials after the payment has been made. You've been warned. Even if he offers you a "deal" don't do it!!
