Geno resolved a problem with my bill completely and professionally. I appreciate Hull Brothers prompt response...

I dealt with Chuck years ago and spent about $15,000 having his compaby fix roof sysems and install two new torch downs in 2016-17. Law states 10 years for discovery and unfrotuantely Chuckk and Geno denied responsibilty when it was reported 2 years ago. And silcione was applied to cover the issues but after I had all f it inspected it was Hull Bros leaving holes. The holes were uncovered a few years after and only when it rains did it show up. I was furious that Chuck did not accept responsibiluty before the inside of my house was damaged. And then I figured they were honest. But now that CSLB forensic reviewed it for me, I am 100 percent sure. I could go to arbitrration and force them but I tried to give them another chance and spoke to the company under new management about 5 weeks ago. The new owner is a a disaster along with their warranty. He called me to demand I remove a neg review. He assured me I was jumping the gun. He asked me to wait a week for Geno to get out and then Geno called early and said he was on his way to a 1030am appt. He showed up 10am apparently and did not call or text. I had texted Geno at 1020expecting him to come back for the time but he ignored calls and texts all day and into the next day. And then I c;alled and spoke to reception and she said she was meeting w Geno to schedule it. Then nothing. I called again. and again. So here now is the first of many reviews and I will share invoices, photos and whatever to warn you agianst using this company. I did my best be patient. They play games. Want to spend $40K and not have a company stand behind their work? Use them for all I care. If you want to pay tens of thousands only to have your roof with drains too high, seems that were not torched down properly, lack of seals, lack of silicone and more importantly they are flakes. They will pretend they will make good on their promise to get bad reviews taken down and then not show up for the repair. Didn't I leave a review? My bad. These people put on a completely new roof, complete with the under layers, in December 2020. I just can't say enough about them. Everything they did was perfect. The supervision by Robert, the workers who came and did the work. It was all great. I had a leak that had done some damage on the inside of my house and they also referred me to the people who remediated that part. The actual roof work took about 5 days and it was as efficient as it could be. I asked for top of the line roofing, so it was $23,500, but it has a lifetime warranty and looks beautiful. We were then told the technician was sitting out side our home (no he wasn't) We then cancelled our request and told the company we would find someone else. The technician comes to the house anyways and we tell him we're not interested in their business as first impressions didn't look good. What you are looking at in this photo is the result from rain over the reroof Hull Brothers did. The only reason the water is not entering our home after a week is the separate silicone layer done by another company put on top. Hull replaced a few sheets of plywood. What they did not do was to remove soft spots so ponding like this would not occur. Chuck the owner was made aware of this and the sloppy work done, the messy demo and the cursing in Spanish toward my wife when she questioned the worker's questionable work and lack of communication and info regarding the adjacent wall flashing. That Chuck erased the remaining balance for the roofing project should tell you all you need to know. Don't even waste your time getting an estimate from Geno Lopez as in our case, he took forever to give us an estimate, delayed start of the work twice with in one instance his reasoning being he was still waiting for the city permit only for us to call city and discover they already issued it. . I hired Hull Brothers to do a roof repair for a pesky leak. They were the only company who was willing to do a repair, as opposed to a full replacement. I have to admit that the initial attempt to repair the roof didn't solve the problem. However, I contacted the owner, Chuck Jewett, who with no hesitation told me that he wanted to make it right. He voluntarily gave me a partial refund, AND he got on the roof himself to inspect it. Hull Brothers just today finished a complete overhaul of my leaky and old roof. They made a very overwhelming project as simple and painless as possible. Seth and Geno were wonderful in staying on top of the project and the actual 4 roofers who did the heavy lifting were simply amazing. They showed up everyday at 8 am and worked extremely hard right through 5 pm and sometimes later, in the summer heat, on the high pitch roof, while holding smiles on their faces all day! These guys are my heroes. Hull Brothers worked closely with the solar company to ensure that all of their brackets and footings were incorporated into the layers of the new roof to avoid future potential leaks. They also installed vents for the attic, a flush mount plate for the satellite dish and a custom made ladder that I requested for easier access to the roof. Finally, they replaced the rotted wood trims on the roof and cleaned up the place like nothing had happened. Having gone through this major project, I am so happy that I went with Hull Brothers, competent, professional and nice people. They were local so we went with them and it went great. The Lady, i believe, name Denise was as sweet as can be. Gino came out and inspected the Roof. He confirmed that the Roofers did not know what they were doing. They got a crew out that were all respectfully and worked well with eachother. I asked if they picked up Laborers from sites such as Home Depot and they said No. As I watched them work, I could tell they were all well acquainted and cohesive. So I was happy about that as well.
