Beyond expectations! West LA Handyman service closed up 6 rooms that just had mini-splits installs but refrigerant lines had to be run through the drywalls and opened up. Not only did the walls get patched perfectly but they also matched the paint color perfectly and did a seamless job of painting it such that you can't tell the drywall was ever opened up at all. They asked us to reschedule the day before our appointment due to glass stores being closed on the weekend. In the span of less than two hours and 30 minutes I was able to get two TVs taken out of the box and mounted, three 6ft pictures hung, and one additional picture hung in the hallway for $200. Hundred year-old houses are challenging because one repair can lead to other problems. They responded immediately with an estimate based on a series of pictures. They scheduled an appointment for the day after Christmas. The gentleman showed on time, confirmed the work that need to be done and the price. He went to buy the materials with out asking for a deposit, and came back in under one hour and got to work. The job was finished perfectly before 5pm. Paid by check, although they accept all other forms of payment. Very easy to work with. Tiles in my shower started coming off several months ago. The problem started to get progressively worse. I realized there was water damage and potential for mold. I posted a request through Yelp and Ursa Pro was the first to respond. AJ was thorough in asking questions and sent Alex to make the repairs. Alex is polite, arrived on time, inspected the damage and came up with a plan for the repairs. I could tell right away that Alex was a highly qualified craftsman who cared about the quality of his work, even for this relatively small job. First he removed the tile and treated the area to be repaired. The next day he brought dehumidifying equipment to ensure there was no residual moisture. He returned the final day to apply waterproofing material and then installed the the new tile with grout that matched our existing material. He also inspected the entire shower and fixed a few other tiles that had become dislodged. He did an excellent job, cleaned up, and left everything looking just like new.
