It is with great reservation I provide this review. I was referred to this salon (Miranda) hairstylist by a friend. My first visit I was surprisingly pleased with the services . I have dark thin hair and to trust someone can be overwhelming especially as the end goal is to be blonde with no brassy tones or dirty blonde. My second visit I asked for a touch up just framing in the front to give my hair a break. I left the salon with 3/4 different tones and the line of demarcation between the color and highlights was extremely visible. I reached out to Miranda and as usual it takes her days to get back to me . I asked her to fix my highlighted area and perhaps make it even color . She has worked on my hair before and did a great job. After miranda being late over an hour and texting me a 545am letting me know she was changing my time knowing I was commuting from Los Angeles to change my start time with less than Two hour notice when my commute was 1.5 hours I thought was extremely unprofessional. 4 hours hours later and as she began to blow dry my hair my hair looked darker and a completely different color from the bottom of my hair/ I was visibility upset as I had to leave by 3pm to make it to an event . Unfortunately didn't make my event that I paid over 3k and left the salon with brassy uneven colors. I texted Miranda and simply asked her to fix my hair and her response was unprofessional and inappropriate letting me know she makes 6.00 hour after paying for products and salon rental. She also stated she had the right to refuse service. I have photos and correspondence transcripts available to anyone who is interested in seeing how inappropriate and unprofessional this salon and stylist . I also reached out to the salon owner Paige to give my feedback and express concern. She indicated Miranda had a legal contract with her and salon would not be liable as she was a independent contractor . read more

I had a terrible & traumatic experience at this salon. I booked an appointment with Kimberly 02/02 at 3 pm & while she did do a good job with my haircut I did not appreciate all the laughs & giggles & mean comments her coworkers were making towards my hair. Yes, I have really thick & long hair. I'm Hispanic & I shouldn't be made to feel ashamed of the thickness of it. Her coworkers that were on the floor that day had made several comments & jokes about how much hair she had chopped & was evident on the floor. One comment & joke was funny, but them keeping the joke going was really too much & not necessary. My entire mood changed & I was having a great experience at first up until they were being straight up mean girls bashing my hair thickness. I really wished Kim had stood up for me & told them to stop with their rude comments instead of her partaking & giggling along with them. It definitely went too far when they started talking about posting my hair to tiktok & then saying my hair was going to break their vacuum. Those hair stylists were just being bullies at that point. I always have experiences where hairstylists say comments about the thickness of my hair & that's why I rarely ever go to the salon but this is the first time I almost cried in the chair. I had to really hold it together. I'm sure Kim noticed I was not pleased & then at one point asked me oh either people love or hate thick hair. Do you like your thick hair, what kind of question is that Kim? After completely making fun of me & embarrassing me. Those coworkers really need to be more mindful and respectful of those with different hair types. And for Kim also being Latina, I would've expected her to have stopped their bullying & stood up for me. It's really sad I had to experience that because overall her work was great, and it's very sad my experience was ruined because of her colleagues. I reached out to her over text messages to let her know about my experience & all she said was she was sorry that I felt that way. They never intended to make me uncomfortable. But that their comments were a compliment and no way to offend me. This was a very dismissive response & just showed she continued to defend them. Kim, the way they were talking about me was not a compliment at all & your response was so disappointing. And a side note to Kim's pricing. She quoted me $100 for a haircut after I mentioned to her I have extremely long & thick hair. But once everything was done she went up an additional $10. In my previous experience with hair stylists, if they are going to mark up the quote a second time, they always mention it before starting their hair service. So I also would've appreciated pricing transparency from the start of the service & not at the end of it. read more
