Before booking, we were quoted $170 online. When we arrived, that same price was confirmed again in person, so we felt comfortable moving forward. To our surprise, after the service was completed, we were charged $350--more than double the quoted price. At no point during the appointment were we told the price had changed or given the opportunity to approve the additional cost before the work continued. If the final price was going to be significantly higher, that should have been communicated upfront so we could make an informed decision. Transparent pricing is especially important when working with young clients who have saved their own money. I'm sharing this experience so other parents know to ask for the final total in writing before the service begins and to confirm that the quoted price will not change without their approval. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling disappointed and blindsided.

I have really short hair (lost it when going through chemotherapy), and when it grew back in, it was EXTREMELY curly. I first went to Irene for the bumble straighten. It worked great on my hair and added about an inch to the length..doesnt seem like much, but it made a huge difference for me because of its short length. It was also very gentle and left my hair feeling nice and soft. The second time I returned to Irene, she dyed it.
