AN AMAZING BRAIDER!!! Vicky and her sister in law Nicki/Jenny are the best! They opened their salon two hours early just to accommodate me and I appreciate that so much. I called on a Friday and they were able to schedule me for Monday which is rare because most salons are booked. The salon is nice and clean and she even offered me food during lunch time. She can include hair for $10 more which is great because I usually spend $20+ just to buy hair. I drove from 35 minutes away but it was worth it. I hate to give to low of a review for a business owner who works hard, but this shop needs to pick it up in a few areas. Ill start off with the pros: I think the owner is hardworking and talented, as well as a few other hairdressers in her shop. Cons: The shop is disorganized and it was uncomfortably hot The braiders/stylist there had poor time management and were slow. Because I was in the shop for 3 hours just for a partial crochet look, and I overheard another woman talk about she had been there all morning and afternoon for braids so 8 hrs+. My hair is itching like crazy after having this 3 days in my hair, and I never have experienced wanting to rip a style out of my head so fadt. Lastly, professionalism: It seemed one lady really didnt want to fo my hair because she was tired. So there was three people in my head total for once again a partial crochet style, which is ridiculous. There was quite a few disparaging comments made about the texture of my hair, one being 4C hair is life's burden, which was absolutely inappropriate and an unsolicited personal opinion. This last reason is why I will not return to the shop and would like the owner to see because flat out you will lose clients over texturist remarks because no one has to put up with that especially if they are paying you. So tldr: if you are in a crunch, go here. But if you have options and time, there are better shops. read more

Just got my hair done yesterday. Vicky is an amazing person with a cool personality. The prices are on the heavy side, but my hair was pretty long. The braids are beautiful and it does not take a long time for me to adjust. The pain level afterwards is about a 1 and it's only for a day.
