I am so pleased with my experience with Passion Hair!! I reached out to the business through Yelp, before business hours and Le responded to me within 15 min to let me know I could schedule an appointment schedule an appointment shortly after opening (I requested earliest available). When I arrived, I was immediately taken to a chair and did a quick consult with Lina about what I wanted (I wanted a cut from shoulder length to bixie). She quickly got to work; double cleansed my hair, and then started the cut. She was soooo sweet!!! While I was in her chair she had some small talk with me, but not too much (you know some people talk so much they forget they are cutting your hair and go too far, she did not do this). Lina cut my hair exactly like I asked, and when she styled it she did not use too much product, which I really appreciate. He is beyond expert level at hair coloring and cutting and yet he's very humble and says he's always taking classes to keep up and learn and improve his technique. I wanted to figure out my options for getting my hair from copper to my natural color or as close to it as possible. Firstly, I had a last minute video interview and desperately needed my hair done without much notice. I saw Tommy's work on Yelp and messaged them and luckily they had a same day cancellation! I snatched it up so fast. My usual salon was booked and far away. This was ten minutes from my house. The employees were kind and nice and Tommy was wonderful and had my trust within minutes. Everything was clean and up to standards. I wasn't pressured into any additional services and they were honest. Also, they sold my favorite products. They were able to cover the grey streak in the front of my hair and had the most wonderful cut since I had not had a cut in over a year and desperately needed it. It was my first time going to the salon and I finally found the stylist who can handle my thick volume hair! I've always gotten my hair done in Japan. Because I hadn't have met any stylists in the US who knew how to thin out my volume hair, and it never came out how I wanted. The owner(forgot to get his name but I believe Tommy) is a knowledgeable skilled hairstylist and knows how Japanese hair is different from other Asians'. Not only thinned out my hair perfectly but added texture with his amazing techniques! I scheduled an appointment for a haircut and I was super excited. When I got there, someone washed my hair. Afterwards, I sat in the chair and the hairstylist told me that he was going to have lunch, which I was totally okay and fine with. As soon as he was done, I asked how he was, and he complained that he had to work until 9:00 pm. He then proceeded to give me major attitude and was very rude to me, to the point where I wanted to leave as I felt uncomfortable. I couldn't because my hair was already washed. He asked how I wanted my haircut and I told him how I wanted it, he was still very rude to me. The entire time, I just wanted to leave. After my haircut, the receptionist told me that the haircut was $75. My hair is very fine and thin. This isn't the first time as I've been at their salon before and I was only charged $55 before. I ask why it was $75 and she said she didn't know. I heard him in the background and he said it was $75 and never gave me a reason. I left and I was very upset, to the point of tears. I will never come back to the salon again, that hairstylist needs to change his attitude and treat his clients with respect and not take his attitude out on anyone. read more

I came in with hair that was worked on incorrectly I had 2-3 different colors in my hair, super dark in between. Just looked terrible. Tommy Lee and the girl at the front is super nice and helpful. I called ahead of time to see if I can do a walk in to dye my hair black. I've had dyed blonde/brown hair and wanted to go to black hair. Thankfully, Tommy was free and he was able to do my hair. He told me two ways, a cheaper way and a little more expensive way to really make sure the black dye stays on. I went with the cheaper way and it looked amazing. He also gave me a little trim because my hair was pretty dead. I went a couple months ago but forgot to do a review until now! I really hope his business stays prosperous because he deserves it. I could tell that he really loves doing hair and he enjoys it. He was super sweet too and thoroughly explained on what he was doing and the reason why he doing it. There was a lady who was seated already by the time I came in and she was talking to Tommy about how amazing he was and how she wants to get her hair done by him because of how amazing he is and I completely agree with her.
