Salmon with rice and grilled zucchini
    Joshua P.

I was recommended this restaurant by a close friend. Personally, I consider this restaurant to be like a fast food/takeout restaurant. For the quality of food and taste they get 5 stars. I love being able to see the grill and the cooks preparing the food. I was very happy with my order. My salmon was cooked perfect. My grilled zucchini was perfectly cooked (i hate soft grilled vegetables). I also had the shrimp appetizer and it was amazing. The service was great and the cashier offered me a drink while I waited. It doesn't get better than that. I definitely recommend trying them out. They have quality food that is healthier than your normal takeout.

I had a wonderful experience ordering my takeout. Steven was patient while I looked over the menu. I decided on the grilled rainbow trout (yum), seasoned rice, zucchini and grilled sweet potatoes. I didn't get the name of the nice lady running around checking to make sure everything was going well. Nothing special about the ambiance you can even bring your new born baby. This is my second time trying this restaurant and they don't disappoint.

L-R: Shrimp baket, Ahi sandwich, Peri Peri chicken
    Bill M.

It's been a year since last visit - way too long. It's still great! Our threesome had the Ahi sandwich ($14), Peri-Peri Chicken ($13), and a 'single' (meaning 10) Shrimp basket ($12). All 3 of us loved our entrees. The rice, sides, and fries were good. Service was fine - the wait to order and then to receive the food very good. I think the prices are low for such quality.

Lunch rush restaurant was super crowded but service was swift and efficiently. Dinner time is the best time to visit because it's not as much hustle and bustle and I think they do a better job presenting and servicing. Don't get me wrong they have great service all together but I felt dinner time they had more time to cater because during the lunch rush everything and everybody is in a hurry to get back to work and everything is just moving at a much faster pace. This place offers an array of healthy options to choose between. Be Blessed...

Great food, service could of been better. 13 year old was served wings and one had feathers . Manager didn't act like he cared much. No apology just it happens all the time. It's normal. But is it normal to serve it like that though ?

Blackened Salmon with piri piri sauce, rice pilaf and grilled zucchini
    Brandi P.

Stumbled on this gem after checking out a Pilates class next door and am very happy to add a new restaurant to my takeout rotation! I got the blackened salmon with piri-piri sauce, rice pilaf and grilled zucchini and it didn't last long! The fish was fresh and lightly seasoned, veggies had the right amount of char and the rice soaked up some of the sauce just as I wanted. Note: There's plenty of parking in their lot and lots of seating if you want to eat-in. Looking forward to trying out more of their menu!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean. The food had good flavor, and I would consider ordering it again. Unfortunately, it was served only lukewarm instead of at the proper temperature, which took away from the overall experience. What stood out most, however, was the presentation of the restaurant. Upon entering, I was greeted by numerous handwritten paper signs and messages written on dry-erase boards throughout the dining area. For a restaurant with mid-range pricing, this came across as unprofessional and distracted from the dining experience. I was also surprised that there was no standard silverware available--only individually wrapped, inexpensive plastic forks and spoons. As I was leaving, I noticed several customers were being served their meals in takeout containers rather than on traditional plates, which further gave the impression of a casual takeout establishment rather than a dine-in restaurant. Overall, the friendly service and flavorful food were definite positives, but the food temperature and the overall presentation of the restaurant left me remembering why I rarely choose to dine at Red Pier. With a few improvements to presentation and attention to detail, the experience could better match the prices being charged.

The…read morecelebration began with our welcome from friendly, cordial valets who genuinely seemed happy to park our car. Really! We had reservations and were promptly seated by a cordial hostess. The reason we chose this restaurant for our dinner was, simply, their grilled scallops. I've enjoyed them before and Tuesday's were even better than my recollection. The accompanying corn risotto, a seasonal special, was delicious. Its unexpectedly crunchy texture was a nice contrast to the tender scallops. We enjoyed a chilled rosé, and ended our meal with one of this restaurant's tiny-and-tasty desserts each: s'more for me, key lime for my husband. Perfect! But, my real motivation for writing this review is to compliment our waitress, Sophie. In my experience it's not easy to strike the right note when serving dinner to strangers. Sophie's work was just right; she listened to our requests, making eye contact with us both, and visiting our table at intervals that were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen prepared appealing plates and Sophie delivered them while they were hot. Best of all, she chatted with us, shared a little if herself and listened when we reciprocated. At the end of our dinner, our car was retrieved promptly by pleasant valets, and we were quickly on our way. All in all, we had a very relaxed and pleasant evening, so thank you, Seasons 52, and thank you, Sophie!

He was then subsequently also tasked with an entire conference room full of people to serve. - When our food did finally come out, it was lukewarm and the appetizer arrived when the rest of our meal arrived, 47 minutes after we arrived. --- Total miss management of staffing!!! - Also, they are cutting back on the size of the meatballs now, which used to be a favorite. We'll think twice about returning here!

The Southwest Cobb is my favorite, mainly because of the variety of vegetables and the level of freshness. If you like spice, the blackened shrimp has an excellent kick. If playing it safe (heartburn is real), simply ask them to go lighter on the blackened. Both the Poplar Ave and Cooper Young locations have an active security guard/lot attendant on the parking lots.
