They advertise a $5 airport shuttle, and then charge you an extra $40 "gratuity" without warning. There's no way to cancel the reservation online, and the number provided in the emails and texts is a fake number. Somehow I managed to get in contact with someone but I had to fight to get a full refund, because suddenly the cancellation policy was 24 hours before the flight instead of the 1 hour cancellation policy provided in their confirmation email. This service is completely dishonest and illegitimate. DO NOT BOOK!!

My family has used this service for probably 20 years. They were recently bought out by a larger…read morecompany and what used to be nice reliable service has become terrible. The last three rides I have had with them have been unsatisfactory. One was over 45 minutes late to pick me up to catch a flight to go to the airport with no apology or compensation from the company whatsoever, they have a call center that is somewhere , managed by people who don't really care whether you get your flight on time or not and seem to have no control over scheduling or fixing a problem. The second trip from the airport, my flight arrived, and I had received a text while I was still on the plane that they had forgotten about my reservation( made at least a couple of weeks in advance) that I needed to call them (!). They get the flight info so they know when you land. The driver was great and texted me, but apparently they had run out of cars , so he had to come pick me up in a school bus! Again he was quite late getting there. My most recent ride was with a driver that I have had multiple times he is unwilling to make any conversation and was really sick, coughing excessively, opening medication while he was driving and wearing no mask! Even after I explained to him that I'm going to see an elderly relative recovering from cancer treatment he didn't make any effort to be more considerate. I don't like writing public reviews like this, but considering the cost of this service and how polite and elegant it used to be, I would say you're much better off getting an Uber or a Lyft.

I used Pearl Transportation for a work trip - needed transportation to and from the airport. Pearl was super quick to quote, and was at the average price point. I saw great reviews and thought I would give them a try (since my last car service from another local company was not really the best). They were great about letting me know when they would arrive and where they would be by emailing and calling in advance. The billing process was easy and done in advance so no extra worrying was necessary during travel. They were extremely timely and very courteous, friendly, professional drivers. When picking me up from the airport, they let me know ahead of time that the driver would call when the plane landed and they followed through on this (literally up to the minute I landed) and let me know that they were at the airport waiting. They had my name on a tablet, (no confusion what-so-ever, which I have experience in the past). They even offered water for the (rush-hour) commute to my home. During my ride I talked a little bit to the owner of the company (he was the driver in this case) and he seems to have a great business model and ideals. It also sounds like he treats his workers well and has good morals. It's always reassuring to hear someone who values people (workers and customers alike) as much as his business. I wish them the best of luck for their thriving business and hope they keep their service as great as it is now!
