The EPA says you should consider mitigating with levels between 2.0-4.0, and every other company guarantees merely 2.7. That would have been enough, but Tom, John and the whole team (electrician Michael and test coordinator Sam) are also exceptionally kind and professional. They were utmost patient with me during my 11th-hour indecision about where the system should be placed, and patiently weighed the pros and cons with me. They were flexible with scheduling the post-test for when we were out of town so we could close the windows without baking. (We don't have A/C.) Our initial level was 5.7, their system got it down to 0.6. It is unintrusive and quiet. The only reason I can possibly see to use anyone else is that TJ Radon is booked over a month out. For good reason. If you can wait, you won't regret it.

However I am going to make an exception here. My first experience with them was in 2005, when my Grandmother passed away. This was my Grandpa's immediate choice and from what I understand it was the choice for my Grandmothers side of the family as well for previous relatives. Since I was the designated person in charge for making decisions, Jeff guided me effortlessly through the process. He made it very simple, painstakingly easy and did not in any way try to sell me things I did not need. He had a very good set of sub contractors he used and referred us to, florist, minister etc...all in all, a very difficult emotionally moment, was in the end, a comforting experience. We used them again in 2009, when my Grandfather passed away and since my Grandfather had previously contacted Jeff and explained what his final wishes were, it was even simpler. Same boisterous, yet thoughtful minister presided and again a comforting experience. I used them last in 2012, when my Dad passed away. I'd like to say that I live in California. So when my Dad who lived in Wisconsin at the time, ended up in the hospital in St. Paul and the moment was coming, I did not hesitate to contact Jeff, two days before Christmas, to ask him if this was something he could take care of since I'd be having my Dad cremated, as opposed to buried, like his parents. Jeff returned my call promptly and let me know that when the moment came to contact him and he'd pick up my Dad. Imagine the relief I felt, knowing that it would be taken care of. When the moment came, Jeff did in fact get my Dad and I did arrive in MN. I met with Jeff to set up the arrangements, which were in fact minimal, after all I was having my Dad cremated, there would be no service etc, again, just the basics and Jeff took care of it all. I wasn't there when my Dad passed, so imagine my surprise when Jeff said, that he had my Dad in the viewing room, if I wanted to see him. A mixed emotion, but I got to see my Dad one last time. They also did me the courtesy of holding my Dad's ashes until I could decide what to do with them. Kandt-Tetrick, is compassionate, caring and thoughtful, I can see and clearly understand why they've been a South St Paul institution for as long as they have. I highly recommend them, should you find yourself in need of a funeral home.

Pinball Plus came out, and (I swear this is true) within 3 minutes had found the cable that had gotten lost and so not hooked up, a bumper that needed repair, an intermittent cable connection, and a fuse system that should have been in place but was missing. They fixed all of that, plus cleaned the playing surface and both sides of the glass, for a very reasonable price. On top of all that, they communicate really well when setting up appointments and showing up on time. Wow.
