I ordered an arrangement called Fashionista Blooms for my friend who retired & the arrangement in their web site is beautiful but what was delivered to my friend was nothing like picture in their web site & had green leaves stem leaves sticking out which was not pictured in the arrangement. Most of the roses were in full bloom so they are old & wont even last a week. The arrangement is not worth the money I paid nor it looks absolutely what I ordered either. I was so upset when my friend sent me the picture that I called the florist & had the nerve to argue with me that it was the same arrangement. They said they will call the customer & pick up the flower arrangement & make a new one. My friend said they called them & said all they were doing was removing the green stem leaves & not a new arrangement. They lie to me because they said they would pick up the arrangement & make a new one. Sadly my friend is upset & doesn't want the flower shop to bother& told me to let it go. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on November 22, 2022. For our anniversary, I ordered the Perfect Selection from White Bear Floral Shop. The selection included 24 red roses in a vase. I added a white rose to make the total 25 because of our 25th anniversary. The roses looked nice when they were delivered to us on November 22nd. I was told that the water should be replaced occasionally so the roses would last. Three days after getting the roses, Thanksgiving day, the roses started to wither. The next day, fresh water was put in the vase and the bottom of the rose stems were cut. This didn't really help the situation. By Saturday, the roses looked terrible. They were thrown out on Monday, November 28th. The cost for the roses, vase, and delivery was approximately $150. This was an expensive price to pay for roses which had to be thrown out in less than a week! I will never buy any flowers from the White Bear Floral Shop again! I can get better flowers which last longer from Walmart or from Cub. I guess I learned my lesson. Unfortunately, this happened for our 25th anniversary. read more

Their service is top notch, I highly recommend getting your Christmas tree there. the trees are fresh and beautiful! My story: a few years ago my husband stopped in and bought a tree there, set it up and left town for the week for work. Once it warmed up I realized it had a bare spot and no matter how I turned it, it did not look right. I called WBF and they said no problem and for free no questions asked they delivered a new tree to me, 10+ miles away, set it up and took the other one back! I was amazed . now I buy my tree there every year and tell others my story so hope fully they get even more business. As a small business owner myself, I believe it is important to shop local. I ordered my flowers over the internet. I wanted the flowers to be delivered on 8-21-2020 for my daughters 25th Birthday . The flowers were to be delivered to my daughters work. The flowers were delivered 8-20-2920. My daughter was not at work that day. Her place of employment called her to say she had flowers delivered to her. Ruining the surprise I had for her on her birthday. I called Avas to share this information with and told them I was upset. Avas said they would get ahold of the place they work with and give me a call back. Guess what, never heard a word back. Called Avas back Monday. By this time I seen a picture of this horrible arrangement!!!!! I wanted to know why they were delivered early. Avas told me because the company doesn't deliver up there everyday so the delivered them early. The note they left with the flowers said it was because of bad weather. I told them about the extra balloons I had ordered were not with the bouquet. I mentioned the horrible bouquet of flowers they sent instead of what I ordered. I want a refund. Two days before my brother in law's funeral , I ordered an orchid for 88.00 to be delivered the day BEFORE and sent to my sister's home for my brother's funeral. The funeral was to be held in a community center, so I confirmed that the order would arrive THE DAY BEFORE and sent to my sister's. No one bothered to deliver the flowers until late in the day AFTER the funeral. A day late from my order. I called AVAS Florists and begged to track the flowers on time or delete my purchase and refund but no one BOTHERED to return my calls or requests. This highly UNPROFESSIONAL floral shop reported to AVAS Florists who they collaborate with...an internet site on the day AFTER that they did not HAVE the plant that I purchased. DUH! No one bothered to inform me or offer me any other option..wouldn't you know they found one and delivered it AFTER the burial. ..88.00 gyp. I am FUMING. I wouldn't bother getting flowers from this floral job. Delivery is late and didn't render the whole service as ordered. Flowers was not delivered on time and balloons did not come with the flowers that we're all paid for before hand. A total of $82 for a horrible service. They also network and do business with Ava's flowers a online service that provides horrendous customer service. Please check consumer report before using any of their services or any affiliated businesses. Also customers should use Bachman or Flowerama for timely and good customer service. This was my first time using this florist and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed! My friend's dog passed away last night and I rushed to order flowers on my lunch today around 12:30pm. There was an option for same day delivery however I couldn't select it for some reason. I called and inquired about same day delivery before placing my order online and they said they could make it happen because of where my friend lives. My friend received her flowers about five minutes before I arrived at her house today. I highly recommend this florist! I'm not exactly crazy about this flower shop. The first time I went there which was several months ago, there was no one to be found. There was no one at the counter or in the shop. We were there for over five minutes when we decided to just leave. It was completely unattended. The second time I went there which was this last Saturday, I went looking for some potted mums for the fall. I walked in and again, there was no one in the front of the store so I went back into the greenhouse which was open. Some hanging baskets caught my eye and finally I see a gentleman who was sweeping floors so I asked him how long they would continue to bloom. He seemed annoyed and said "until it frost" - in a way that was like "duhhhh". Then this woman came in from the back of the store, looked at me and proceeded to inform me they were getting ready for a party in the room. She didn't ask me if I needed anything or how I could be helped. I felt as if she was saying "you're in the way". I stated I was sorry and walked out of the store. I cant stand this place. This is the typical usual interface - no one at the counter and nobody that appears to want to help. I find them rude. I have used White Bear Floral for at least 20 years and have found that both their product, professional staff, and delivery personnel are nothing but the best in the area. I have used other florists in the area just to be ripped off in price. WB Floral has great flowers, plants, and bedding plants at great prices. If you have a problem just call and ask for Lorraine or Lynn and they will take care of it. Quick service, beautiful arrangements, and fast delivery. I never have to worry when ordering from them unless the product has to be wired to another florist - in which case WB Floral cannot be held responsible for any problems with another flower shop. read more

My fiancée just had the worst experience. Starting off, the associate was not the friendliest. After being told we wanted a Mother's Day weekend, the woman stood up and told her they do not do weddings that weekend. She then very sarcastically told her good luck in finding one that does. They also do not respond well to criticism. I responded to a post on Facebook stating they won't do Mother's Day weekend weddings. The response I got was that my comment was untrue and that it was rude. It was then deleted and I was banned from further postings. Even with the rudeness at the start of the meeting, she was happy to let them do our flowers. With the rudeness as of late, I am amazed they have clients at all. The flowers were fine but I didn't enjoy them because the delivery person BROKE MY DOORBELL. This happened when she slammed her heavy duty flashlight against it, since she had no free hands to simply touch the doorball. The touchpad was SHATTERED to such an extent we had to drop everything to do surgery on it to remove the pieces. Those pieces kept the connection live so inside our home, the doorbell continually rang, then buzzed, and eventually sparked, shorting out our electronics and shutting down our modem, which controls not only our online connections but our phone as well. It ruined our evening, which was supposed to include a Christmas celebration. Of course our doorbell had to be replaced, to say nothing of our scramble to get our electronics working and the internet back online. What a major pain. And how did White Bear Floral respond to my phone call that day? They ignored it. It's been more than 2 weeks. I just called again and was treated coldly, with no apology, concern or resolution. The moral is, if you have a problem with anything at White Bear Floral, don't expect them to resolve it. Better use a floral shop that thinks customers are important.
