Americano and Irish Cream latte!

My wife and I have been checking out coffee shops within 20-30 minutes of our house. It's a nice way to spend some time together and to support local businesses. Humphrey's is in the middle of a cute suburban "downtown" area. The shop itself has nice natural light and some comfortable seating available. Staff were pleasant and the service was prompt on a Sunday afternoon towards closing time. I enjoyed a medium Americano, three shots of espresso in a 16 oz cup. My wife enjoyed an Irish cream latte, they seem to rotate some creative seasonal drinks. Certainly worthy of a return!

I visited this coffee shop due to its name, Humphrey, as it's my dog's name too! Also, due to its high Yelp rating. They have many syrup offerings so you can dress up your lattes. The staff was helpful with choosing the right amount of syrup to add. The cafe had a few tables to sit awhile. There's lots of parking behind the shop.

I had high expectations because of all the great reviews... but I don't understand the hype. Don't let my 3 star review steer you away, though. They have an extensive menu (including a seasonal one), pastries, and merchandise. I ordered an iced mocha latte ($5.50) and it was just OKAY. The espresso was nowhere near strong enough and the drink just tasted like chocolate milk. The cafe is decorated nicely with a plant/Bohemian type of vibe. The one thing I noticed was that the chair cushions had a lot of stains on them. It's not the best environment to work or study in. It's small and they have limited seating and only two outlets. No hate on the kiddos, but it's also family friendly so it can get pretty loud. This is more of a spot to meet up with friends and socialize. Not sure if I'd return.

If you are tired of your regular lattes and want something different try this shop. I am not really a fan of hazelnut but ordered the nutella latte and omg it was sooo delicious an!!! They also have a summer smore latte and churro latte menu. They have 3 shots in small and medium for iced coffee but i asked for 2 and they accommodated my request.

My friends and I were in the area and we were craving coffee in the morning. We decided to stop by here for coffee - they have their regular menu but also a spring menu (which included ube matcha, ube espresso latte, strawberry matcha latte and more). They also have baked goods which all looked so good. The place itself is also super aesthetic with plenty of seating inside and some seats outside. My staff was super friendly in the front and at times there was a line but it moved very quickly. We all decided to get a chocolate croissant with was yummy. I decided to get the ube espresso lattee, which was pretty good - the ube syrup was on the sweeter side so the drink was sweeter than I would have liked it but it was good overall. The flavor was good as well. We were all in agreement that the drinks were def on the sweeter side so if this is something that you don't like then maybe ask for less sugar. Overall - cute cafe, highly recommend checking this place out!!

My friend and I stopped in at Humphrey's, a visit I considered long overdue. The shop is a nice size with some seating available if you want to hang out. There's a bunch of public picnic benches and a swing seat at the end of the block where you can also find seating. We each opted for an iced coffee and upon receiving them, the ratios were very off. There simply wasn't enough ice in the drink to qualify as an actual iced coffee, which made for an almost tepid drink. We ended up having about a quarter each and tossing out the rest because we couldn't power through it. Sadly, we'll be skipping out on making a return visit.

Great drinks, pastries, service, and seating! This coffee place is super cute and filled with character. They always have great coffee and tea specialities and even sell affogatos!!!! Ample indoor seating and free wifi if you want to study or do work. Street parking can be limited at times but there is a parking lot right next door.

This spot is a little gem tucked away in the woodsy side of Bergen County. You can tell this is a local favorite since it has a few rushes and customers sitting, chatting and working. There is not much to this area but this coffee shop is great. The croissant I had was super well made and had the perfect crispy outside and chewy inside. I got their coffee, frappe with caramel and oat milk, it was really delicious! They also have a little park right next to this place where you can sit and enjoy.

PROS: This place is very cute. Nice wooden tables, blue and brown themed, has up to date machines, the staff is friendly and the prices are good for a new coffee shop. Nice parking lot in the back and in a nice neighborhood too. CONS: Their hours are very short. OVERALL: I would definitely come back here and I would recommend this shop to anyone

Croissant was SO GOOD - the cheese was really melty and the croissant was so fresh and flakey. The chocolate chip cookie was also really good - you can tell they use really good quality chocolate and it was one of those cookies where the crust is crunchy and the middle part is softer. The cookie also had a ton of chocolate so definitely a must try if you like your cookies with less dough (but not overly sweet!) Overall, would come back to try other pastries. TIP: Gets crowded on the weekends with bikers. Go early or late afternoon to ensure you get parking. They do have a parking lot but it can fill up fast.

The shop is small but they use the space wisely, nice counter filled with one hit after the other. Literally everything in there looks magnificent. Today I went with a double shot of espresso and a chocolate peanut butter chip cookie. Service is prompt and professional. We sat at a picnic table outside the bakery. The espresso was quite good, nice well rounded flavor. The cookie was decadence personified! Chocolatey, pops of peanut butter, in a perfectly chewy cookie. Really enjoyed La Tabatiere!

I used to come to the previous place just for cappuccinos, but this was my first time trying Café WKND. My husband and I stopped by late Saturday morning, and it was packed! The space is surprisingly large with plenty of seating--great for dates, friends, or families. We waited about 15 minutes around 10:30 AM, which wasn't bad at all for a busy weekend. We ordered pancakes, cappuccinos, and a few sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pancakes look small but are very filling. We even took leftovers home, and our son devoured them. Can't wait to return!

It has high ceilings, plenty of tables, bright lighting, a quiet ambiance, gorgeous decorations, meticulous restrooms, exemplary service, and amazing food/beverages. First of all, the menu has photos, down to every single item when creating your own Omelette. Also, we were given water immediately upon being escorted to our table (those two items alone is starting my review at 4 Yelp stars). Lastly, Andrew was an outstanding Server. He explained our many questions and gave much appreciated recommendations. Their entire staff tended to us with such great care and professionalism. I noticed, that there is no hurry for customers to finish their orders at their tables. Some were doing schoolwork, some were on laptops, and others were conversing for the entire duration that we were there. My beverage was the "Weekend Iced Latte." Not only was it deliciously sweet, but it came with a hard plastic stirrer, which made it much easier to mix the ingredients and not use the straw. I have never seen this nice touch at any other cafe. Much appreciated. The entrees were: Caprese Salad (fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, balsamic pesto dressing, truffle glaze) . This salad was very good. The balsamic glaze added the perfect sweetness to the fresh ingredients and it was filling. The other entree was the Blueberry Pancakes. Not only was I told that these were the best blueberry pancakes they've enjoyed, but maple syrup was not necessary. The house made blueberry compote was enough to enjoy every bite. For dessert, I had the Matcha Basque Cheesecake and it was heavenly. This was my first time enjoying this type of cheesecake and it did not disappoint. The Matcha was not overpowering. Cafe Weekend has won me over and I'll definitely return for future brunches and/or coffee breaks.
