    packed egg ro

well I decided to try this place when I was next door to the pizza place. so glad I did. I've been craving good Chinese soup and for once it was delicious(and not fluorescent) ordered wonton egg drop soup, they were a little tough like they needed to be cooked a little longer but the filling was delicious. I also ordered an egg roll and a lunch combo of shrimp with garlic sauce. I told the man to make it spicier(they did) it was awesome. The pork fried rice was chuck full of pork, onions and bean sprouts. The shrimp were huge and other veggies were nice and crunchy. (minus the mass of broccoli) so now I have a decent place to get soup yayy and food. it was nice to have a unglurpy meal. you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a Chinese restaurant that makes edible soup, even with all the places around me in monroe. smh. way to go Hunan wok you have a new customer. the super crunchy Egg roll was jam packed of pork n veggies. so if you're in the area definitely Check them out. They're also reasonably priced. can't wait to go back and try other things.

My family really likes to order take out from here, consistent (of course a little Americanized) Chinese food! See photos: I like their beef dishes, and their hunan and szechuan dishes are spicy

Food was luke warm. Ordered mixed veg with white rice. No carrots bro? $21. Came 930pm Saturday. Food was ready in 7 mins, i dont like that. The default sauce was brown & it was thick like cold gravy. Very salty too. The food was decently fresh though. Ordered pick up. Shoulve known by the tone of his voice. Would not come back if i was desperate.

I'll start by I made a mistake because I thought I was ordering from our usual place, Hunan House and I feel sheepish in this misstep. So my expectations are already deflated. Maybe it's because in so hungry, but my first bite was fine. No issue. It's not AMAZING. But it's decent and I'm not mad. The sauce is a little runny, and there's more heading than chicken, but the flavors are up to expectation. They didn't have brown rice, so they gave me fried instead. It's... meh. Little too dry. We didn't get any fortune cookies which is really disappointing. Would I order from here again instead of my usual? Not likely, but I'm glad I was able to check this place out and know what's around.

I got a shrimp with Chinese vegetables combo yesterday. The fried rice was pretty good and the egg roll was average. The sauce for the shrimp had the consistency of snot though. It was clumpy and not appetizing. The taste was good but the texture was terrible.

Today's rice is useless. I've never eaten anything like that before. They should improve on that since I'm a regular customer.

Food was disgusting. Spent $35 and threw it all out after one bite. Other Chinese in the area is way better

I ordered the Gen Tsao chicken, it was below average, didn't offer soup or egg roll. Won't come back. Not recommended.

Good decorations and plenty of seating available at all times. With free noodles and sauce so you can eat up as much as you'd like when you're waiting for your meal. And the service was always good all the times we went in the past. While I don't live in New Jersey anymore, I still had plenty of good memories eating here from all the years I did live there. And when I do return, I plan to go there again for either lunch or dinner. Going for lunch is a better option though since then the lunch options are available and tends to be cheaper as well.

Pretty dark inside but have such an old school Chinese restaurant. - Food: I ordered take out for lunch special Hunan Chicken with Pork Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, complimentary spring roll, and an order of Crab Rangoon. The lunch portion of rice and chicken is not too big but enough for me personally, it also comes with soup so could definitely make you full. I love crab rangoon and want to try it everywhere. There're 8 pieces per order, they should have fried the crab rangoon a bit more since the bottom is still chewy. Wish there's more filling inside too. Definitely will be back and try other selections too!
