The Kalbi Tang was good, but I thought the portion was small for the price and they barely gave you any banchan. The fried gyoza was solid. This is a self serve establishment.

We found this place by chance as we were driving through Princeton and were craving Jajangmyun. Found Asian Bistro on Yelp and it really is a hidden gem! Asian Bistro doesn't look like much on the outside, but its very clean and has a great and unique way of service. You order food at the counter and they buzz you once you're ready. Iced water and hot water are complimentary and you have the option to get soft drinks and tea. They also provide bottle openers so you can BYOB. We wanted to try a few things being our first time here. The Seafood/Scallion pancake was super crispy and had lots of shrimp and octopus in it! Very delicious! We also got an order Jajangmyun (Black Bean Noodles) and it was one of the better ones I've had in the Central NJ area. The noodles had lots of veggies and some nice chunks of pork belly in it. Last we ordered the Hwe Dup Bap which is a mix of salad, rice and sashimi topped off with spicy gochujang. Again, super delicious and refreshing. It was a nice balance from the heavier noodle dish. We saw lots of people eating in and taking out. There are plenty of seats available indoors and the bathrooms were very clean. Make sure you tip appropriately once you pay! Food service is very quick and they bus your tables for you after your done.

    Codfish stew and spider roll!

Was my first time back in a year or so and the menu is very different, though same restaurant set up and process to order. The general Tsos chicken bento box was amazing! Great portions and such great flavor and texture of the chicken and various side dishes. The veggie kimbap was yummy and went well with the other parts of the box. As always, service was great and we'll be be back soon!

Korean restaurant @ Princeton Junction, NJ, Had early lunch, hot stone beef bibimbob. It wasn't so bad but didn't taste much of beef. You order and pay at the counter then when the buzzer rings, you will go and pick up your food.

Found this place on google since we were craving korean food and were honestly surprised at how delicious everything was. They actually serve other asian cuisine dishes like thai, japanese and chinese as well. We got the kalbi bento box which was very delicious! It came with japchae, salad, kimbap and a small fried fish? The fried fish was so light and delicious. The scallion pancake was amazing and probably my favorite dish. It was super flavorful and had a good amount of seafood in it. The service was pretty quick. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer and you pick up your food when it goes off. They have complimentary water, but you can also buy drinks as well. The bathrooms are very clean as well. They have lunch specials on weekdays too!

Great korean food here (they also offer japanese and chinese dishes, among others). The bulgogi was very sweet and savory. I wish they had given me a bit more rice- ended up running out of rice and still had half the bulgogi left. I would recommend the jajangmyeon if you're unsure of what to get. It's my usual go to order, and the quality is consistently good.

I was in the area and the day was freezing. A hot and warm korea soup would fit the day, I found this restaurant on Yelp, happy to see it offered Korean dishes mixed in Japanese and Chinese dish. Then I saw the photo of Hwe Dup Bap, looks like Korean version of Chirashi (they offered Chirashi). Decided to order a take out. They gave generous portion. It is similar to Japanese Chirashi, twisted with the lettuce addition and use of sesame dressing. I also ordered soft tofu soup. I categorize this restaurant as neighborhood restaurant. It is serving home made style dishes. The one that the family will go to when no one wants to cook for the day, or have a long chat with close friends over meal. I would like to try out more dishes if I am in the area again.

Authentic, flavorful Korean food. We had black bean noodles, pan fried pork, kimchi fried rice and bibimbap. Everything was delicious!

Objectively, this isn't the most life-changing Korean food I've ever had. However, since it's hard to find good Korean food in Princeton in general, Asian Bistro is definitely a go-to locally. My family and I have been going here for years, and the food is consistently a hit. The owners are super sweet as well, and the restaurant is very cozy.

Came here during dinner and found the ambience very pleasant and relaxing. The space is clean and comfortable for a quiet dinner, the pork katsu with japchae was very delicious. Service was prompt and pleasant

Beef japchae, miso soup, seaweed salad and squid bibimbap.

Delivery Review: All in all, a very disappointing meal. My wife had a hankering for Korean, and cuisine that is sadly underserved in our area. Asian Bistro came up in our search and we decided to roll the dice. We ordered Beef Japchae, Squid Bibimbap, Seaweed Salad and a Spicy Tuna Roll. The japchae was...fine? The beef was extremely sparse and overall the dish lacked flavor. Same went for the bibimbap. Light on the squid, heavy on the veggies, and the egg was clearly precooked and thrown on top well after the fact. At least there was an ample amount of gochujang to give the dish some flavor. The seaweed salad was a quarter of a head of lettuce topped with a small scoop of seaweed. The attempt to make the paltry serving size appear greater failed. Too bad, because the small amount of seaweed present was actually quite good. Saving the worst for last, the spicy tuna roll was bizarre. After being greeted by an utterly flavorless mass in my first bite, I decided to dissect the next portion before eating it. The tuna itself was minced rather than diced, and had no other ingredients added. Just a small quantity of minced low quality tuna doused in what was supposed to be spicy mayo. Neither of us opted to eat any more of the roll, and for either my wife or I to turn down any sushi of any kind under any circumstance is quite the indictment. In summary, the quest for Korean food in our area continues.

We only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Comfy benches are around the corner to the left. Ricardo greeted and helped serve us. He was especially gracious with my 90 year old aunt. Her safety and enjoyment were my top priorities! We enjoyed our unhurried meals, asking that each dish come out when it's ready so we could all share. Pass. This might satisfy a homesick student because there's nothing better, but we can do much better at home or at Flushing. The best dish was the chopped cabbage dish - that was closest. Lamb skewers were too thick and not seasoned enough. Monstrous plate chicken - good thing we had two, because they weren't all that big for 6 of us, and no spicy adjustment allowed (couldn't do not spicy, but ended up eating it.. and it wasn't spicy). Beef w/tomatoes was better - potatoes felt like they were deep fried and thrown in, not at all taking in any of the sauce. Big groups could have a hard time finding seating - this gets busy and their tables are really designed for 2-4. Staff was also mostly non-Mandarin speaking students that hung around and talked amongst themselves instead of checking on our experience, refilling water, or getting the check until we flagged them down.

Where do I start?…read more On Friday we stopped in for lunch around 12:30. We were greeted nicely and bought waters with lemon as we asked. I ordered won ton soup, shrimp with vegetables and fried rice. My gluten free friend brought a new bottle of gf soy sauce. She ordered rice noodles with vegetables and added tofu. She chose not to have soup and asked for her won ton to be packed to go. The waiter whose English wasn't so good very nicely took the bottle with him to the kitchen so her food would be prepared with it. I noted the fork at my place was not clean and moved it aside. Next he brings me a soup plate with broth and 2 big doughy won ton. Neither the broth not the won ton were more than tepid. The won ton was not to my liking. I took one bite and pushed my bowl aside. Next the entrees neither were more than barely warm! My shrimp were a bit smaller than quarter sized, broccoli was nice and the rice too, but the sauce had absolutely no flavor. No flavor and cold. The rice noodle dish was fine but flavorless and lacked the vegetables she ordered. Usually she would tell the server that she can have garlic and ginger, but she didn't. And the food was not hot at all. The place was busy with just the one waiter. He very nicely brought the won ton soup to go for her when he brought the check. He also wrapped all the leftovers to go. We did not complain because everything deserved a complaint. We had also lost interest. This experience did not get only 1 star, because of the waiter who was the only one in the busy restaurant. He was doing his best, but the kitchen needs to do its best. We tipped him nicely, and deposited the take home won ton in the trash can down the sidewalk away from the restaurant.

Good food but service could be better. The loudness of people talking was somewhat bothersome.read more
