    Chili Beef
    Yasser H.

Spice wok. An Indian fusion inspired Chinese cuisine. We ordered the following items: Garlic beef. Excellent. Tender. Succulent and full of flavor. It was seasoned very well. Chili chicken garlic noodles. Another richly seasoned dish. Loved that both items had an excellent aroma and garlic in the mix. Chili chicken. This was a gravy based dish. It was very flavorful also. I was under the impression that it was dry based rather than gravy based. Fried ice cream. This item was ok. Did not care for it. Perhaps for someone with a sweet tooth may like it a lot but for me it was just ok. Service was good and on point. Interior was spacious. Plenty of seating to accommodate everybody. The entrees were about $20 a piece, which I thought were over priced.

    veg momo

Came in on Saturday for a late lunch. I was surprised at how empty the place was considering it was the weekend. We ordered the veg momos, crispy chilli potatoes and veg sizzler. The momos are served with chilli sauce, vinegar with peppers and soy sauce. We really enjoyed the potatoes that were crispy and served hot! Although the momos were good they weren't the authentic and neither was the veg sizzler. The sizzler was salty and no where close to the sizzlers I have had. I can't say enough about the service! It was fast and our waiter was friendly and checked in on us a few times. I gave this place 4 stars despite the lack of authenticity of the food because 2 out of the 3 dishes were delicious and service makes a huge difference. I will be back to give a few more dishes a try.

    Chicken momo (very good)

I saw this new Asian fusion place pop up on Yelp and it seemed different. After trying it I will say it certainly is. I'm not sure how best to describe the cuisine, I tasted Thai and Indian in it, and their dumplings are called Momo which seem to be Nepalese. I enjoyed all items that I tried so I'll just try to give you the details on them. The chicken momo came 4 to an order for $8. With that price I was expecting larger round dumplings, but these were of the crescent shape variety and inline with other dumpling sizes. The filling was interesting though, kind of an Indian or Thai yellow curry flavor. I liked them very much and even more when dipped into the addictive red chili and garlic paste sauce. For entrees I tried the crispy honey chili chicken and the chili chicken noodles. Both of these had similar tastes with the crispy chicken being my favorite. Life came up after I got my takeout home, and I had to postpone my meal by 2 hours. The chicken was possibly not as crispy as it would have been, and while eating it I considered how this would be incredible eating in at the restaurant. It was thin strips of lightly breaded bird, I loved the texture even after it sat around for hours. It was a sweet and stealthily spicy light sauce with onions and peppers. It was a hearty portion that I thought could stretch into another meal, but I plowed right through it. I saved the noodles for the next day. These were of a thin gauge but a similar sauce, less sweet but perhaps more spicy. Again the chicken stole the show. Not breaded but a great size and texture for this dish . The dining room is spacious and quite nice for casual dining standards. I only interacted with one employee. He was answering the phone in orders as he handed me my bag. I wanted to ask a few questions but he seemed too busy for that. I don't think that was a good policy and did not add a tip onto the check. Hopefully subsequent reviews can fill in the gaps as to the source of this cuisine and what country the owners are from. My next trip will be for dine in.

Mongolian Beef, Basil Chicken Fried Rice and Spicy Garlic Chili Chicken Noodles
    Daanyaal K.

Ordered take out last night and got Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken Chili Noodles and Mongolian Beef. Everything was a 5/5, it was very delicious, unique and beyond satisfying! Its not your traditional Indo-Chinese but from the other reviews it seems that it may be Nepali. I think the prices are a bit high but for the quality and flavor I can live with it. It seems that the timing on Yelp/Google isn't current as a few groups were disappointed that they closed at 9 pm when it says 10:30 pm everywhere else. Call in before you come!

    Menu image

I think that they're generally good folks and the food is usually reasonable, but with respect to the paneer tacos there is a profound discrepancy between what they picture on the menu and what they actually give you.

Burnt garlic chili chicken fried rice and chicken chili garlic noodles

What a wonderful surprise! This place seemingly popped up out of nowhere and has an awesome menu. From the outside it looks like it's gonna be kinda like a chipotle/cava/Moe's informal kind of place, but it's actually a bit fancy in there. The food is Asian Fusion so it seemed like a bit of everything, Indian, Thai, etc. We tried the burnt garlic chicken rice and the chicken chili garlic noodles and they were both amazing. Really excellently done. And the portions were great! I easily got two full meals out of mine. The only other place we know with similar food in the area is about a 25 minute drive to pick it up. Now if this place can also start making drunken noodles and baked taro custard we will be in business. :)

Even if there is a wait, we have never waited longer than 30 minutes for a table. The service is very prompt and waiters are very good at checking on you and refilling your drinks, cleaning up your table, or asking you if everything is good. The food is ordered via paper and pencil, you select what you want and provide it to the waiter. They send the order to the kitchen and you receive the food when it comes out. For an AYCE buffet, the fish quality is consistently pretty good at Hiro. They offer Nigiri and Sashimi on the menu, as well as classic and specialty rolls. If I could suggest one thing it'd be adding hand rolls to the menu. The tuna and salmon here are consistently good and the yellowtail was surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different appetizers ranging from edamame, sushi pizza, to tartar, most of them are actually very good. The kitchen entrees are very good as well such as the kimchi fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Although it's not the most spacious inside, the way they set up the booths and tables it gives you enough separation from other tables to not feel super crammed inside. Highly recommended for an AYCE sushi spot in Central NJ!

Walking in felt like someone casually teleported us to Thailand. Giant gold sculptures, warm golden lighting, and decor that whispered soft Thai luxury while loudly saying "take pictures immediately." The private back room? Gorgeous. Luxe, glam, and perfect for games, laughs, and dramatic group photos. Food situation: We had a set menu: * Soup choice - veggie tom kha was the star (creamy coconut comfort in a bowl) * Veggie spring rolls + papaya salad to share * Curry + rice I went with red curry with fried tofu and honestly... the food delivered. Rich, flavorful, comforting... everything you want from Thai curry. Spring rolls were forgettable. I don't do papaya salad, but the girls who did were basically fighting for seconds so that says enough. And the Thai iced tea? Must order. No discussion. Now the plot twist: service. This is where the sparkle dimmed. I get it... big group, chaos, logistics. But this was booked in advance, and it felt like the restaurant wasn't staffed or prepared for a party of 25 plus regular diners. My food arrived two hours late (yes, two ) after most people had finished. A few others had the same issue, and allergy instructions kept getting mixed up. It felt like the kitchen hit panic mode. Service for large parties: 1/5. Final verdict: Food = good. Ambience = stunning. Large party execution = not it. I'd come back for a normal dinner with family because the flavors are worth it. But bringing a big group again? Hard pass .. the kitchen can't juggle that many divas at once. Overall: a maybe. Great vibes, tasty food, but big-group service needs serious glow-up.

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else. I was told the have two locations: Philadelphia and the one we're dining at, Princeton Junction, NJ. Both locations serve homemade recipes from the Kumamoto region of Japan. If ramen is your love language, this place will absolutely speak to your soul.
