Great atmosphere with even better service. I really liked the menu here and plan to come back to further explore in the future. Asian fusion, but not over complicated - this place is great. The garlic pepper shrimp was nothing short of amazing. The shrimp was fried to perfection.I don't even like shrimp, and I almost ordered a second one. I got the mango chicken as an entree. The server was sure to ask of the spice level I was comfortable with which was really nice. I told him I wanted a little more bang than the shrimp but not too much. They NAILED it. I 100% recommend the dragon chicken. The ratio of chicken/veggies was on point, and the jasmine rice complemented the meal perfectly. I also tried the sweet and sour Chicken dish. Spice wok. An Indian fusion inspired Chinese cuisine. We ordered the following items: Garlic beef. Excellent. Tender. Succulent and full of flavor. It was seasoned very well. Chili chicken garlic noodles. Another richly seasoned dish. Loved that both items had an excellent aroma and garlic in the mix. Chili chicken. This was a gravy based dish. It was very flavorful also. I was under the impression that it was dry based rather than gravy based. Fried ice cream. This item was ok. Did not care for it. Perhaps for someone with a sweet tooth may like it a lot but for me it was just ok. Service was good and on point. Interior was spacious. Plenty of seating to accommodate everybody. Have been ordering take out from Spice Wok for a while and food has always been delicious

Service is good, the staff approached immediately and instructed us to use the QR code on the booth. I like to be greeted enthusiastically upon entering a restaurant. I can eat at home, a restaurant is a happy place where we come for comfort. The food was tasty, it arrived via robot in a timely fashion. Burnt garlic rice with boneless chicken was expertly cooked. It is difficult to toast garlic and not make it bitter,kudos. The burnt garlic with noodles had a medium spice level and was delicious also. Sesame chicken was sweet, savory, and tender, I enjoyed all the dishes very much. I could have eaten all the food, I'm saving stomach space for tomorrow. The restaurant's decor was pretty and inviting. The play list was nice. The drink selections were mostly sugary drinks, I opted for bottled water. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying Asian fusion. I will visit again when I'm in town. read more

Came in on Saturday for a late lunch. I was surprised at how empty the place was considering it was the weekend. We ordered the veg momos, crispy chilli potatoes and veg sizzler. The momos are served with chilli sauce, vinegar with peppers and soy sauce. We really enjoyed the potatoes that were crispy and served hot! Although the momos were good they weren't the authentic and neither was the veg sizzler. The sizzler was salty and no where close to the sizzlers I have had. I can't say enough about the service! It was fast and our waiter was friendly and checked in on us a few times. I gave this place 4 stars despite the lack of authenticity of the food because 2 out of the 3 dishes were delicious and service makes a huge difference. I saw this new Asian fusion place pop up on Yelp and it seemed different. After trying it I will say it certainly is. I'm not sure how best to describe the cuisine, I tasted Thai and Indian in it, and their dumplings are called Momo which seem to be Nepalese. I enjoyed all items that I tried so I'll just try to give you the details on them. The chicken momo came 4 to an order for $8. With that price I was expecting larger round dumplings, but these were of the crescent shape variety and inline with other dumpling sizes. The filling was interesting though, kind of an Indian or Thai yellow curry flavor. I liked them very much and even more when dipped into the addictive red chili and garlic paste sauce. For entrees I tried the crispy honey chili chicken and the chili chicken noodles. Both of these had similar tastes with the crispy chicken being my favorite. Life came up after I got my takeout home, and I had to postpone my meal by 2 hours. The chicken was possibly not as crispy as it would have been, and while eating it I considered how this would be incredible eating in at the restaurant. It was thin strips of lightly breaded bird, I loved the texture even after it sat around for hours. It was a sweet and stealthily spicy light sauce with onions and peppers. It was a hearty portion that I thought could stretch into another meal, but I plowed right through it. I saved the noodles for the next day. These were of a thin gauge but a similar sauce, less sweet but perhaps more spicy. Again the chicken stole the show. Not breaded but a great size and texture for this dish . The dining room is spacious and quite nice for casual dining standards. I only interacted with one employee. He was answering the phone in orders as he handed me my bag. I wanted to ask a few questions but he seemed too busy for that. I don't think that was a good policy and did not add a tip onto the check. Hopefully subsequent reviews can fill in the gaps as to the source of this cuisine and what country the owners are from. My next trip will be for dine in. read more

Ordered take out last night and got Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken Chili Noodles and Mongolian Beef. Everything was a 5/5, it was very delicious, unique and beyond satisfying! Its not your traditional Indo-Chinese but from the other reviews it seems that it may be Nepali. I think the prices are a bit high but for the quality and flavor I can live with it. It seems that the timing on Yelp/Google isn't current as a few groups were disappointed that they closed at 9 pm when it says 10:30 pm everywhere else. Call in before you come! read more

Took over a small storefront. Walked in to try it and had the most amazing lamb (a stew) I've ever had. I asked for very strong spice and they gave it to me (didn;t water it down bc I'm not Indian). Delicious spice, it fell apart to my fork. Went back and got some chicken dishes with my wife, she loved it too (and Indian cuisine is not always her preference (its my favorite). I've been to 40-50 Indian restaurants in NJ and this is one of the 2-3 best. And certainly the best in the area. read more

What a wonderful surprise! This place seemingly popped up out of nowhere and has an awesome menu. From the outside it looks like it's gonna be kinda like a chipotle/cava/Moe's informal kind of place, but it's actually a bit fancy in there. The food is Asian Fusion so it seemed like a bit of everything, Indian, Thai, etc. We tried the burnt garlic chicken rice and the chicken chili garlic noodles and they were both amazing. Really excellently done. And the portions were great! I easily got two full meals out of mine. The only other place we know with similar food in the area is about a 25 minute drive to pick it up. Now if this place can also start making drunken noodles and baked taro custard we will be in business. :) read more

Edit: went there a 2nd time and had a horrible experience. I've never seen so many dissatisfied customers walk out after waiting an avg of 2 hours for food. We waited an hour and a half for food. The restaurant really needs to let customers know the wait time before taking orders and to not string customers along. I have an unhealthy obsession with Spice Wok. I was in town for a whole month visiting family and in that time I've been to Spice Wok three times! Since it's a new restaurant the wait times can be relatively long, however I can assure you the food is worth the wait. I love the chicken balls, chicken lollipops, and street style noodles. Their chili sauce is out of this world! You can really taste the ginger, garlic, and the spices. Owned by the same gentleman that owns Asian Halal Meat, so if you're a local, supporting local businesses is also a plus! read more

Spice wok is fantastic! This is the second time we have eaten there. This time we had the Hot Garlic Beef, Sesame Chicken and Cheese LBI Hakka with Beef Chicken and Shrimp. (We wanted to have leftovers for a few days). Everything was delicious! We both thoroughly enjoyed the takeout meal, tho we did think it was a bit expensive (but what restaurant isn't these days?). It was hot when delivered. Very flavorful meals. The reason I gave this four (4) stars is 1-prices are high and they charged a service fee in addition to a 99 cent delivery fee plus tax and 2- they ask how you want a dish: mild medium or hot. My wife likes less spice so she said mild for the garlic beef. It was still very "hot." She tried a few pieces with sticky rice but had to give it up. Yes, she know the place is named spicy wok, but then why ask how you want it and do it spicy anyway? Flavors were still there in the sauce. More for me haha! First time trying spice wok. Had the lamb dish and enjoyed it very much. I asked for mild and they got it right. We also had Mongolian beef which was also quite good. We did the take out option and the portion sizes were great. Wait time was around 40 minutes but we'll worth it for the quality of the food. Plenty of on site dining room and even Saturday evening there was room to eat in. Definitely will hit this place up again. I have to admit the food was excellent. I have been looking for local food like this for years instead of the regular chinese fare. I don't like my food spicy so i requested it be prepared mild and he did exactly as I asked. I got the sesame chicken, the king po chicken, the steamed dumplings and the combination hakka noodles. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The chicken was not heavily coated in breading with is what i liked. It also came with this chili sauce on the side that had a nice kick but not too much. Had ordered Veg hakka noodles, Veg manchurian, chilli chicken and Veg Fried rice. 3 or 4 orders of each dish. Veg hakka noodles were good. The rest of the entrees were mediocre. Especially the Veg Fried rice was a waste of money for the price charged. There was no soy sauce in it. It looked like white rice stir fried in oil with very few vegetables. My husband has been here during his lunch breaks, but I haven't been able to try it myself until today. He claims it is the newest, best Asian fusion place to go in the area. We went today, on a quiet Friday afternoon. We were only the second party eating there at the time. We ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer which were good. I ordered the chef special sizzler. This included shrimp, beef, noodles and vegetables with rice on the side. I was pleasantly surprised of how tasty my food was. My husband ordered the chicken curry dish with vegetables, also amazing. I will say the food is pricey but the quality and flavor makes it all worth it for what you pay for. We didn't get desser but I'm hoping to try next time. The restaurant was tidy and clean, also a plus, with hand sanitizer available as needed on every table. I really hope this place stays in business for a long time. This restaurant knows how to do Asian fusion the right way. Worth every penny! read more
