First time ordering general Tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and crab Rangoon. The ribs had absolutely NO fat and were flavorful. The chicken wasn't all breading and wasn't greasy, decent size pieces of chicken. Crab Rangoon was delectable and didn't taste like cream cheese like other places. Rice was bland. Upon arrival I'm talking to the woman who looks confused when I said I placed the order online. Then she said one minute take a seat. After a 1/2 hr I finally got my order. I get home to find out the order is all wrong. My daughter ordered general Tso combo and instead of fried rice she got plain. She ordered a soup that was not in the bag. I ordered beef w/mushrooms and received beef with broccoli which I'm allergic to. The egg drop soup I ordered was so thick it stuck to the spoon. NASTY! At this point Im more than upset. I called to complain and asked for a refund the woman's refused to give me a refund! Was telling me they are busy and nothing wrong with egg drop always like that! ... seriously? She wanted me to drive back to the restaurant to see the pot of egg drop soup! I wasn't going anywhere! PLEASE ANYONE THINKING OF GETTING FOOD HERE .... PLEASE DONT! The place was dingy. When I walked in the guy was wiping his nose. I asked if he was going to wash his hands he just looked at me like he didn't understand. I payed like a fool and left. Ordered a few different things, none would be worth going back for. Veggie fried rice: peas were dried out pellets, some good chunks of veggies. Egg rolls: all deep fried dough, hardly any filling. Chow mein: mostly cabbage and celery, ok flavor. Steamed dumplings: OK. read more

Okay Takeout. Plenty of food in the family meals. Service is good. Really no place to sit, but we always pick up and take it home.

This is the second time I have eaten here and I remain totally impressed with the food quality from this little Chinese take-out resto. The first time there I had the Hunan Chicken and Broccoli, the chicken was not overly tenderized which seems to be a frequent occurrence when dining in other Chinese places. The broccoli was perfectly done and the sauce was positively delightful. Yesterday I ordered the House Special Egg Foo Young which had chicken, pork and shrimp and the customary vegetables one would expect, they simply knocked this one out of the park. The sauce which was on the side was excellent, I have never had the equal of this dish anywhere before. Stop by Hunan Wok and see if you don't agree. read more

You may not be able to tell a book by its cover, but one visit to this Chinese takeout joint was all I need. It has managed to survive for several years, but the culinary bar is set pretty low in Berlin. On the spur of the moment I picked up a quart of chicken lo mein and 2 spring rolls to go for lunch. The filling in the springs rolls was 95% lettuce, a little bit of mushroom and not much else. The lo mein did not have much flavor and there was little in the way of either chicken or vegetables. A few observations. There are 3-4 tables for 4 available dining in. A small parking lot is located in the back which looks and feels like you have been transported to a Ghetto. read more

Disappointed. I got golden fingers a large. It was burnt. I also got crab Rangoon can't eat them to chewy. I got the teriyaki steak as a appetizer. Can't chew it and no teriyaki sauce on them. This place was good at one point but went downhill. read more

The food was decent. I ordered the General Tsaos combo. The flavor was good, a little different then what I'm use to. The rice was just ok. When I called in I ordered something on the menu and when I got my food it wasn't there, at least I wasn't charged for it. I blasted the kindred Hunan Wok III in New Britain a few weeks ago for a multitude of errors. Hunan Wok II, however, appears to have its Peking ducks in a row. (Chinese food play on words, you love it.) Cheap, fast, greasy, salty, terrible for you. Admit it, this is what you came for. And you get it at Hunan Wok II. I rather enjoyed my roast pork with broccoli and fried rice. With a wonton soup on the side, it was a big dinner for $7.25. Plenty of leftovers for the next day. Alright fine, I ate the leftovers later that night. Pig... They take credit cards with no apparent minimum, and they have brown rice! Two things that are often hard to find at Chinese takeout places. This may very well be the only cheap Chinese takeout place in Berlin, I'm glad it's a good one. read more

Today is December, Snowy weekend . My Hubby and I thought it will be great to order Lunch and before it gotten bad and I ordered delivery first time and felted bad for the bad weather . We ordered mixture of chicken & veggies and sesame chicken and General torso . Chicken fingers and egg rolls . Friendly Lady on the phone . Said 40 minutes . The food was quicker then that . shorted me on rice by a quart, gave me 2 servings of sweet & sour sauce instead of the 4 that my order required, buy hey I did spend $40 and get a 2 liter of pepsi that the woman taking my order didn't tell me about, because I would have gotten something else. I ordered 2 large apps and 3 large meals, got 3 soy, duck and mustard and only 2 fortune cookies. It's really too bad they are the only one left in Berlin that delivers. Did I eve mention that when I called she said "please hold" put the phone on the counter answered the other line and I was fortunate enough to be able to wait and listen while she took the other callers order before mine???? 40 minutes to get my food, the another 30 minutes to get the sweet and sour sauce....NEVER AGAIN!!! my menus just went into the trash!!! read more

This has to be the worst Chinese restaurant ever!! It is not just their food is bad but their service is even worse. Poor generic every day food service Chinese food is all they provide. Beware of the delivery drivers. They don't talk and are normally busy casing your place and checking in your cars.
