Ok so he cooked my Tofu in Brown Sauce rather than the Garlic Sauce that I had requested. He gave me a side of Garlic Sauce. No big deal. Price: $7.50 They also served the lunch special ($5.55) House Lo Mein on top of their Pork Fried Rice. Interesting...Double carbs. Just so you know. The food was good and served fresh. However, the service was a little slow considering there was no else there. So don't be in a rush... Located in a strip mall off of Blanding Blvd. next to the Dollar Tree, I was pleasantly surprised this was an option. I will probably patronize Hunan Wok again when in the area. I decided to try their food again. No luck. I ordered chicken fried rice... got onion rice with chicken. No vegetables, only onion and scallions. Totally bland. Had to put it on a pan and "sauté" with some soy sauce to make it edible. read more

Ordered for delivery and not only did the same guy that took my order deliver my order he brought a 2 liter of coke and a calendar as thank you. The food was all so good! The absolutely worst Sweet & Sour Pork I have ever seen! Panda Express beats this place. Who and the world breads the Pork with dough that was like a Corn Dog? And then there were no vegetables and a plum sauce that was like water! I guess that is the way people in Jacksonville like their Chinese food! I was so craving Chinese so since my old fav closed down and this one popped up across the street from it I figured let's try it. I found the food was fresh and flavorful! I had beef lo mein and Beef and Broccolli and the sweet n sour chicken. Everything was spot on! No issues so far! I will keep a eye on them and what other reviewers think but I will return soon! Unfortunately something has changed in the last 6 months and this place is now serving the gross, made and then kept warm, yesterday's egg rolls type garbage a lot of Chinese restaurants begin serving for some reason. You've been warned. Have been getting consistently fresh take out from hot wok on Loch Rane. Usually before 4pm. Couldn't speak to after that timeframe. read more

Newer American/Chinese store front eatery. I've been here twice and so far each time has been great. It's not amazing, but it's pretty darn good. They have the standard order menu and they do deliver, which is always nice. (Interestingly enough, the delivery girl just RAN by me with a delivery.) Very well staffed and there's never a wait (only for them to prepare the food, which is the standard 10-15 minutes). All in all, it's a good place to try, even if it's not in the best location. read more

I ordered the General Tso's chicken, dumplings with hot and sour soup. First of all... Compliments to the chef, the soup was way better than I expected except that it was a little greasy. I love that you put tofu in the soup with lots of vegetables, so a good alternative for vegetarian. The dumplings were very nice and more than I could even eat so I will be able to use these in my Ramen tomorrow for an at-home lunch. Or later tonight if I keep drinking LOL the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice was good, love the sauce and Crispiness and only wish there was more ham and vegetable in the rice. The chicken came with two pieces of broccoli which were very good, I will definitely order all of these things again. Maybe not the soup because it's not as spicy as I hoped, even though I added extra cayenne and red pepper flakes. I did love all of the vegetables and the fact that it came with tofu. Not bad. Got the mongolian beef. Sauce was thin and mostly cabbage, mongolian beef where ever I've had it before was just beef and green onions. They added peas, carrots, water chestnuts, mushrooms and a TON of cabbage with some beef. Wasn't bad though but way more like beef n vegies not mongolian beef. Orher than that nice clean place. After coming here for a year, I have to say this place is a great edition to the area. With the Greek Village disappointments, it's nice to see a place that cares about quality. It also shows in the fact that they make their own egg rolls, dumplings, spring rolls and fry their chicken fresh. Nice to know that they also clean their shrimp. I can't believe other places don't. It was soggy and tasteless. I had about one bite. My husband's Orange Chicken had so much breading on it was hard to find the chicken. He ate about half of it because he's not that picky and was really hungry! We got a bonus's Pork Egg Roll because we spent over $40. I ate two bites of it and spit the second one out! We also had two bottles of water, no issues with the water. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will say that many reviews talked about small portions we thought the portions were fine. I'm giving them two stars because the service and speed was great! However, this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The food seemed old and not fresh. The orange chicken had a very strange flavor that was not typical for orange chicken. Wouldn't order from here again. read more

Luckily, upon checking the multiple food delivery apps ( they all have different restaurants listed, so you gotta check em all), I found a new restaurant on BeyondMenu. The Good: Able to order via app. Order arrived in about an hour, which was within the delivery estimation. My partner was happy with the Chinese food he ordered. They paid attention to the notes for special requests, and didn't include any onions, which some restaurants miss. Sushi was tasty and were decently sized. Reasonable delivery fees. The Meh: The devil is in the details, and there were little things that didn't set them apart from other takeout places. The sushi I ordered had the ginger and wasabi smooshed into the side of a couple of rolls. They didn't have any paper separating the items. Sushi came with the "good" soy sauce and shrimp sauce. Chinese food comes with the less than tasty Chinese restaurant soy sauce. The Bad: They didn't include any napkins or forks, only came with chopsticks. No menu for future orders. I additionally ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice, which I found to lack any seasoning. Since it's cooked without soy sauce, it could use some garlic/salt/pepper. However the rice did have plentiful large cuts of meat and lots of veggies. Also, while I love that they have Sushi and Chinese food, I did find the sushi, especially the "cheaper" rolls to be a bit over priced. I'm far more likely to throw in an extra simple roll if the cost is reasonable, however over 5 bucks for a 6 piece JB roll is a bit much.
