One of the best hot & sour soups I've ever had! Not too bitter or sweet. Perfect amount of everything, including heat. Love their wings, all flavors. The crispy duck is delicious and the crispy is on point. Great shrimp egg rolls and tasty fried rice. The to go sauce options are simply awesome. The modifications they offer are also a plus. Winner winner Chinese Dinner!! I'm giving Great Wall 5 freaking stars because out of all of the Wok's I've been to in Jacksonville (and the Chans) this place is in the number one spot for delivery! The fried chicken had no feathers and the flesh of the chicken wasn't yellow like most delivery Chinese that I've had. The generals chicken was cut into small pieces (thank you SO much) and the rice was great!! Oh... And the dumplings?? The best I've had at a Chinese restaurant in Jax as well! If you are someone who orders delivery Chinese a lot or take out I would suggest that you give this place a try! I called and ordered my food, when I got there 20 minutes later it wasn't ready still. It's cold and rainy outside and they tell me to wait outside. Seriously I had a mask on and I work in a restaurant that people come in every day. I'm sure they go to restaurants to eat as well. I can tell they take pride in what they do. The first thing that stuck me was I could see into the entire kitchen and see everything is clean. They food is one of the better fast Chinese places in Jax, if not the best. Plus, they have shrimp toast!! I can rarely find that in this country, let alone the city. One of my personal favorites is the lo mein! To die for, I tell ya! I've nothing bad to say about them when they've been nothing but great with every single order ever places. No errors. I've been going to this Chinese takeout place for years. It's the only one that my Mother and I can agree on that has pretty good food. They use to be down on the other end of the shopping plaza, Suite #18, but now they've moved to Suite #3 next to Best Nails. Never had a problem with service, the food, the restaurant, or anything! On this trip, I decided to get the General Tso's Bean Curd. A friend actually turned me on to it as he was visiting my side of town. My very first experience with it, I was hesitant because it looked a little gelatinous. But after tasting his, I was hooked. Now I have an alternative to eating meat. I also ordered the Steamed Dumplings which were done just right with no spots that weren't under-steamed. It comes with soy sauce, but I like to use my own Ponzu sauce. It's amazing! My other favorites here are the Singapore Chow Mei Fun, the House Special Lo Mein, the Cream Cheese Fried Wontons, and the Orange Chicken. If you're ever in the area hankerin' for some good Chinese, this is your place. read more

It is not ok to try and pass off yellow rice as fried rice. I'm am sick of this cheap trend that is plaguing Chinese restaurants. Any Chinese restaurant that does this should be ashamed of themselves. Anyone with a palate and is well versed in food from different cultures should not eat here. I have had 1 good meal here and 10 others that were garbage. Tonight it was watery Shrimp with Lobster sauce and plain yellow "fried" rice. They basically threw some egg, a hand full of peas n carrots and some shrimp into a clear broth. And said here ya go. If you want the real thing, Go to Pagoda's on Baymeadows Rd. Yummy yummy food. I love ordering here when I don't feel like cooking. Their cream cheese wontons are sinfully delicious. The portions are really large and I always have left overs for lunch the next day. Their dumplings and general tso's chicken are both really good also. Once, they took a long time for the delivery and gave us a free 2 liter sprite to say sorry which was a nice touch. I sometimes just do pick-up though because they always have a lot of deliveries and sometimes it takes a while. Nice people and good food. read more

I don't often give bad reviews but I guess this place caught me on a bad night.. no.. their food was just that bad. I ordered vegetable Lo Mein, Wonton soup, and fried shrimp. Nothing fancy. The girl at the register told me 10 minutes So I thought 'okay cool no wait' ... that was at 8:15 pm, I get my food at 8:50 pm. Wasn't that just great.. I then get home to eat my food and thought let me actually see if they gave me all the shrimp in my order (18) but no I didn't even receive all the shrimp- no big deal if the wait would have been shorter. People that ordered after me received food ahead of me. I get home and try all my food and the noodles have NO taste and it seems they have been left out for awhile. Yummy right? Then I try the soup and it taste like 5 day old soup from city water- Also so yummy. I give this place a one star rating because the inside seems nasty and not well taken care of (doesn't say much about me ordering from there but I was hungry lol) and the service and food sucks. This place is nasty. I have seen the owner of this place washing her kids in the same sink they clean the food. Also seen her giving her kids hair cuts inside the restaurant. I would definitely void this place. They treat their restaurant like it's there house. read more

I've been getting take-out here for at least 6 years. Tonight I was very disappointed. I have dogs who are door aggressive. I always ask to be called before the delivery comes to the door. Tonight was the 2nd time I wasn't called. In addition I asked for a 9PM delivery; it came at 8:30. The bottom of the bag did not have cardboard in the bottom so the stuff tipped and leaked. The bag almost came apart from the liquid in the bottom. My order of spring rolls had only 1 spring roll. There was no mustard among the condiments for the 2nd time. I may have to look elsewhere. I like the food but the delivery lately leaves much to be desired. read more

The best Chinese food in the Arlington area by far! Ordered from Great Wall a few days after the move and the food was awful to say the least. So we decided to give them one more shot last night. Wow what a wonderful decision! We ordered online, received our food fresh, fast and piping hot, just the way it should be everywhere!
