For a merely $28, we ordered the following, shrimp fried rice, cream cheese ragoon , pork fried rice, small wonton, chicken with garlic sauce and egg drop soup. Ordered and took less than 15 mins for them to cook! The owners are super sweet and are very accommodating. The cream cheese was by far the best I've had , lightly sugared on the wonton wrap and deep fried to perfection. Egg drop soup was not dense and you can taste the flavor! Add some black pepper if you want a little extra flavor. Shrimp fried rice was your normal, nothing to out of the ordinary.

My SO loves this place, I however was disappointed the first time and thought I would give it a try again. This time even more disappointed. We ordered Hunan with steam rice and orange chicken with lo mein. Check out the pictures below because they look the same. There wasn't a single orange in his chicken, not a single spice in the Hunan chicken which is supposed to be spicy. When we called to let them know she says, general Tso's and orange are similar. Well what does that have to do with my hunan? We were only going to simply let her know but after that phone call, the world should know. I'm not doing this place any more. There's more. Food was bland even after adding soy. Just really disappointed. Guess we'll keep making our own Chinese cuisine at home.

Not the same anymore, food does not taste the same and the prices have almost doubled and for only half the portion size!

If could give less than 1 star I would. All 3 plates were an absolute disappointment. This tastes nothing like Chinese food.

Best sweet and sour chicken on this side of town! They have been around for a long time and really the only Chinese food we like.

Best Chinese in Jacksonville. They've been around since 1998. The absolute best fried rice in town.

Tried YH Dim Sum and it totally hit the spot!…read more Everything we ordered was on point the shrimp rice rolls, sesame chicken, and BBQ pork were all so good. Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I love visiting Saint Augustine so I was so excited when I found this dim sum restaurant!…read more Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I was dining by myself. I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.
