Drove 25 minutes to get here because I really love their honey chicken. I had it many years from other Wok N Roll locations in Jax, but had not been to this location before. This was the closest location to us and it was still a good drive. Guess I should have checked the order since driving so far, but didn't. Got home and everything was wrong. Called them and the lady argued with me that I never told her no vegetables in the chicken and I never told her no bean sprouts in the lo mein. Yes, yes I did tell her she just didn't understand. Perhaps it would serve them better to employ someone with a decent grasp of the English language to take orders. I don't have a problem with the fact she's learning English, but don't blame me because you are the one who doesn't comprehend. Even if we drove back, they refused to replace our order. Needless to say, the lo mein went in the trash and the chicken got picked at. Then there were the egg rolls which weren't even in the bag. Never went back and never will go back. I was working one night and wanted to get some Chinese before I went home. Most places were already closing but, I saw this place was still open and decided to try it since I was really craving Chinese food Lol. I've had bad experiences at other wok n roll locations so I was a little skeptical. I ordered beef and broccoli with pork fried rice and it was so GOOD and it was FRESH! So good that I went back the next day and ordered Sesame chicken with pork fried rice, which I have pictured. And that was also very good! So I had to come and give them a great review because it's hard to find a good place where your food is freshly made. Both times I went was after 6pm. I know some places have a different morning chef and evening chef which can also make a difference in how your food is prepared so, I just thought I'd put that specific time period out there. A small order of plain fried rice-- no vegetables, A small order of beef lo mein-- no vegetables, And an order of honey chicken-- no vegetables.... The woman repeated the order verbatim... And asked if it was correct... I said yes.... Yes... Remember how I said I made a mistake... Well... I made two... The second being not checking the order before leaving.... Why didn't I you ask??? I normally check any order from any restaurant when placing a to go order, but I didn't this time because the woman who bagged the order stapled the bag closed--- with three staples... I guess I should have been a little suspicious at this point....I arrived home with our food....and the order wasn't correct....vegetables in the food.... Were there supposed to be veggies in the food?? Nope... When my wife called to inform them of the mishap.... The woman said she remembered me....but said I didn't ask for no vegetables...really??? She repeated the order to me....I took the phone from my wife and reminded the woman that she repeated the order to me correctly after I had ordered... She said no problem we'll remake it. We drove back to the restaurant (it took us about 25 minutes with traffic) and our food was remade.... I would have been fine with that, but she commenced to tell my wife that I never said no vegetables... R-E-A-L-L-Y?? Apparently it's okay to call someone a liar... I was beyond mad, but would have been okay if the food was good...the noodles were good... The rice was bland and the chicken was kinda crunchy--like burnt... Not all of it some was okay.... I normally avoid bad biz reviews, but these guys absolutely deserve a 5 Star Negative Review. The customer service is horrible though the driver was friendly, the food is a piece of shit. The meat that we requested be well done was rubbery and chewy. I was told that I needed to pay $30 to have a driver come and pick it up or bring it back the next day for a full refund. Ok so we all know during holidays and hurricanes Chinese joints are open. And this place was in full swing - being the only business in town open during Irma. We ventured in and brought home egg rolls, spring rolls, egg drop soup, General Tso chicken, and Shrimp and Broccoli. We were excited to find a place open, came home and sat down for our feast. Let's say we ate some of it and tossed over half of it in the trash. The taste was metallic like, the egg rolls were pretty much empty, the soup was awful, even the rice tasted off. We felt the ingredients may have been inferior or on the verge of going sour. During the next desperate need of take out we will pass on this place. read more

I had a lunchtime hankering for some takeaway so I popped in to order the L7 Happy Lo Mein, which is off of the lunch menu. It is a noodle dish that includes veggies, chicken, pork and shrimp. Just a little bit of everything. The lunch special comes with either white steamed rice or pork fried rice. ALL FOR ONLY $4.50!!! There are over 30 items on their lunch menu -- That's right! All for only $4.50 each! It's a fairly large portion, enough for 2 people, me thinks. I also got an order of fried (or steamed, if you wish) dumplings from their appetizer menu. Place offers a lunch menu but was not willing to honor lunch menu prices and charge us dinner prices of up to $4 more. Which is sad this place is generally our go to for Chinese takeout. The best Chinese food I've had in 12 states and 8 countries (side note Ireland has the best McD). Been eating here over 10 years and still eat it on a regular, everyone I have shared them with have also become a regular customer. Never have had any issues with the food, I see someone commented the rice was bland... but they ordered plain rice... haha usually a boiled grain does come bland when it's just plain... thats like saying a spaghetti noodle is bland when all you do is boil it and eat it with no spices or sauce.... well duh bland and plain are synonyms.
