These people seem to show up when they need money, not when you need work done. They mostly just…read moretake care of the low hanging fruit stuff that's easy. They told us they'd be there on Tuesdays. They were there whichever day worked for them. They charged per bag for bagging leaves which we didn't even want them to do (we actually like fireflies). Our lawn would get really long with no sign of them sometimes. Other times, we'd wonder what they were even mowing. Right now, I'm trying to enjoy my backyard on Memorial Day but I can't through the noise while they're at my neighbor's house ON A HOLIDAY! I hate this company.

But I'm updating my review based on an extraordinarily positive interaction and outcome. A couple of weeks ago Andy contacted me. Again it has been several years since we did business together. He let me know that in an accounting review he discovered that I had a pile of extra money sitting with him- probably from some bill pay overages that I had set up through my bank. It looks like an error we both missed in some long forgotten year, and I probably would have never known, but Andy did the right thing, contacted me , and mailed a check. Of course this came at a time when it was needed- I mean, have you seen the price of eggs? That's the kind of business you want to deal with, and you hope that more often than not it is. But it's rare that something like this happens and you get to see it on full display. For this reason I wholeheartedly recommend House to House and will be glad to use them again if the need arises.

However I'm writing this review to thank them for stepping in to help me with taking care of all of my downed tree limbs during last week's ice storm by collecting them and cutting them so that they can be picked up by bulky collection. They didn't have to do this but they saw this need that I had and made what was a bad situation a lot more tolerable by helping me out in this way.

I contacted Longhorn Lawns to do the work based on Yelp reviews. JP and Matt scheduled us and sent out one of their top crews to do the work. The crew worked meticulously to get the drain angle just right for the drainage. To accomplish the task, they had to use a jackhammer to get through all of the limestone. Note: It was ~100 degrees the day they were here. They worked tirelessly all day to get the job just right. When they finished testing the drain, they put all of the plants back in there places and added more mulch to make it look fresh. Needless to say, they did an awesome job and I highly recommend Longhorn Lawns for your next work. My beds looks fantastic and now I am ready for the next big rain.

THIS COMPANY IS A DISHONEST CON JOB! STAY AWAY!…read more One man mowed part of my yard for 20 minutes. I was charged $116 (so $348/hour equivalent for one person). This Monday midday, I sent in a form asking if today would be a possibility to mow and rake the leaves in my yard? I called soon after that. The woman on the phone said she had just noticed my form come in. I was told that the earliest they could get to me was Wednesday and it would be $116. *The Just Right Lawns employee blew leaves into my flower beds and into the left side of my driveway where there is also grass. This grass was not mowed or touched. I called afterwards assuming it was accidentally forgotten and was told that because there were leaves on the area that it was not mowed. Curious because the lawn that was mowed also had leaves on it. *Nobody communicated with me that part of my lawn would not be mowed. Nobody told me that my leaves would not be addressed (the reason I sent in the form in the first place - my grass was short as I normally mow it every 2 weeks). The guy left my house without discussing any of this with me. When I noticed he left, I called and was given the run around, that I could have paid an additional fee for leaves to be bagged. $116 for a 20-minute con job. There is no excuse for this. You should be ashamed of your company. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY ON TO YOUR PROPERTY. Bad DISHONEST business.

They have completely killed the lawn almost every other year. I hired them to bag leaves and they can't even do that. So I stopped the lawn service and hired them to just do fertilizer and regrow the lawn. They killed the lawn again. NEVER communicated between "mowing" and "fertilizer" teams. Just right simply makes your lawn worse. Even when they "collect leaves" they just pile them up and they blow back. THE GREEN PICTURE IS BEFORE THE SERVICE RESUMED BEFORE OUR DOG RAN AWAY!

Back in Oct, William was abled to hand-pull all the weeds in my backyard and mow my lawn in preparation for the winter. He had made sure there's no grass clippings leftover as I was allergic to Bermuda grass so his service was helpful for my health. Initially, did an amazing job and was going to be my go-to lawn guy once the grass is growing again the Spring. Recently for the Spring, I asked him for the same service, weed removal (expecting hand-pulled like last time), lawn mowing, and pre-emergent weed treatments. Total cost was $170 but I gave him $200 especially for gas prices and he had to go pick up supplies. Well, he weed whacked everything instead and it splatter all over the white painted sidings of the new house. He offered to pressure wash and clean the sidings from the mess he created. He also offered to put down additional weed treatment to help control the weeds. He was late for the original Spring service (after I asked him to push the service an hour later). He was a no-show on Saturday to cleaning up weed clippings splattered over the sidings. I had to call him multiple times and he said his customer unexpectedly requested mulch installation and said he can come by at 8am on Sunday. Today, He was a no-show today. I had to call him and he woke up at 10am. He was still a no show after multiple calls. Very disappointed. I wasted almost half my day waiting. Lots of excuses. I understand life happens but lack of communication and method of weed removal was the final straw. Off to continue to find my go-to lawn service person. Initial service in Oct 2025 was 5/5. Follow-up Mar 2026 service 2/5. Do not recommend.
