Honestly probably the best tasting pho I've had in Toronto and I've been eating pho religiously all my life allllll over town. They're in a run down plaza operated by a family I would guess, based on how there's a couple really young teens working there. The broth is amazing and portion is huge! By far, my favourite Thai/Vietnamese place. I always try other places, because this one is still a little far from me, but I always end up coming back because there's no comparison. The food is incredible every time! In LOVE with there lemon grass chicken and their tom yum soup is my FAVOURITE along with their fresh rolls with the peanut sauce. I feel guilty writing this update as the staff at this restaurant are very polite. But I have to be completely honest. Today's experience was not great. The pho was edible, but didn't have much depth of flavour, the spring rolls I ordered were burned and I actually went back after work to return them and ask for my money back. We ordered a bowl of vermicelli and shrimp pad Thai. The portions were slightly too large. We weren't able to finish everything. The food was good. I found the vermicelli a little different from those I had in other restaurants. So. Good. The service is friendly and delightful, they make thoughtful menu recommendations, and inform you of any complications beforehand as much as possible. The food was delicious (I had red Thai curry with vegetables and tofu, my partner had spicy noodle soup with beef and blood pudding). The espresso coffee with condensed milk is absolutely phenomenal. Time for an update... I still frequent here with my ever so picky eater wife regularly almost after 9 years and they are still on point in terms of consistency of what they cook up in the kitchen. Nothing has changed (except for the inflation-adjusted price which is more than fair) and everything I still eat, pho, fried rice dishes, regular rice dishes, rolls, all come out exactly the way I remember when I first got hooked on to this joint. Even the owner/head chef of the resto greets me along with it's longest running staff whom now joined the kitchen and when I peek my head and greet them, my plates fill up even more with extra meats and goodies. My wife and I LOVE this place by far the best in this city! This is one of 3 restaurants in the city that we go to regularly. It's really really hard to beat the value and the quality of place and trust me, my wife is sooooo picky in that (value/quality) department she will refuse to eat anywhere else unless it meets the near impossible threshold. Their pho is still THE BEST, hands down in the city. If you are a viet food lover, you really have to try this place. Keep up the good work guys! read more

My family and I have fallen in love with this place all over again. I don't remember why we stopped or took a pause on this spot because we were missing out on all the goodies! This place prices the items fair and the portions are huge! My fav is the shrimp pho with clear noodles. I only order my pho with clear noodles and this place has it. Large menu, free parking, reasonable portions quick hot meals, perfect rice and noodle dishes. They have spicy dishes and sauces at the table to add more. The pho noodles were perfect not overly soft and soup had decent complexity of flavors. The fresh cold spring rolls had bbq pork and shrimp. Arrived around 7 today on family day and waited an extremely long time for the male server to take our slip for the orders. We waited so long that even another customer came in, waited a long time and left because what's the point in waiting that long to have the male server walk around and have long chats with his coworkers? The male server even just had a good chat with a lady with black glasses and a pink shirt for a while. The lady noticed that people weren't happy but chose to not care and continued talking. The owner is really nice, I think today was an off day but it's surprising to see what happens when the owner isn't around, how downhill the service can be. Hire new people! read more

Lots of choices on the menu if you don't feel like pho or banh. Everything is good here. Price is amazing and they always have weekly specials. I've been going here since they open many many years ago. Fave for me is P22 or the grilled satay chicken on a bed of mangoes. Tony the server is extremely efficient and funny. Wanted pho after our Yorkdale visit and yelped this place. Yea the plaza is sketchy but the pho is worth it! We all had the traditional pho tai and the portions were great, lots of noodles and good yummy broth. Price is par with other pho places in the area and service was great - esp the young, charismatic waiter! Not a full 5 star b/c the restroom smelt bad accordingly to my kid.
