Finding quality pizza can be a challenge, and in this area, there honestly is not much to choose from, so this was a great choice. The pizza tasted great, and we ate it up quickly. Absolutely unacceptable. I placed a large order over the phone for 12 people -- over an hour and a half ago -- and never received it. When I called to check in, I was casually told that "a DoorDash driver picked it up a while ago." That's it. No offer to help, no solution, no apology. I'm now stuck with a hungry group and zero food. This was a huge inconvenience and a total lack of accountability. Ordered pizza delivery. It was ok but nothing special. First time our family didn't fight over who got the left overs. We are not a thin crust family but their regular crust was, as our son said " too bready" lol. Best part was the seasoned edge of the crust. Cajun cheese sticks were definitely not a hit. read more

Grateful for the last reviewers review. Just moved to the area from miami and, sadly, I had avoided ordering from here due to the reviews. Which I don't understand at all. Last reviewer was correct: 1) they deliver across the bridge (and don't make u feel like a moron for asking this and/or abhorrently telling me , rudely & in disgust, that this beach property I purchased and relocated for, in my new hometown, is way too far and no one delivers).. ergh! Which brings me to: 2) great service : both people I spoke to when I called.. said "don't worry about it, ur good , we'll get it there "... I had to call twice bc when the first guy told me they'd get it out to me ... I wasn't ready.. lol.. bc last week, the Dragon Chinese place told me on first call they would deliver to me , but they opened in an hour. I waited, salivating, for an hour. But when I called back and gave them a huuuuge order, i was saddened and then, maddened when she said "oh, I'm sorry your block is too far".. ( I don't mind paying extra for food or delivery or service... especially service). 2) Fast Delivery- was fast , super fast . Can't really complain about spending $5.00 per medium one-topping pizza, can you? I can. The reason why it is $5.00 per medium pizza is because the pizzas are nothing but skinny dough, barely there cheese and barely there topping. That is all I have to say about Hungry Howies, other then my vegetarian pizza had quite a hair cooked in within it's crust. Other places around the city also have $5.00 medium sized pizzas, I think I'll be going to them instead. So far my best Navarre pizza experience has been with Papa Johns. read more

I had placed an order for delivery online for 2 orders of Howie Bread. After about an hour I called into the store to inquire as to where the food was. The employee on the phone told me that I needed to come get it as I had placed the order for pick-up. After looking at the receipt sent to my email I informed the employee that I did in-fact pay for delivery, as I was charged a delivery fee (not to mention is said in big bold letters that it was for delivery). We just moved to the area and we're just used to the typical pizza place, papa johns, domino's, etc. we decided to give Hungry Howie's Pizza a shot after seeing how good the prices on everything was, especially with the deals. I was BLOWN AWAY by how tasty and good quality our food was. This will be our go to spot for pizza, and even more than just that. As always, reviews make me skeptical, but we went ahead anyway. I'm currently pregnant and so far this has been the only place I've been able to keep food down at! ( which is a huge deal to me ) We ordered carry out and tracked the order until it was ready to get picked up. Fast, efficient, and yummy as ever! Went there twice so far and I can say that I'm not a big fan of this place, most likely won't be back. The first time I had garlic flavored crust so I thought maybe if I get regular crust I will like it better. As good crust is a must for a good pizza I wasn't impressed with it at all. I don't think they put any salt in their dough and to me no salt makes the crust taste like cardboard. Garlic dusted on top of the crust and burnt from the oven just made it bitter. Sauce wasn't impressive either so no matter what else you put on top, it won't make a great pizza. read more
