Don't even waste your time and money. Honestly one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Our waitress was so nice but the food was absolutely horrible and my party was very dissatisfied. If you ignore this one star review, you should go try it for yourself and submit your review so this place can get shut down. An MRE comes out less dry and hotter than the food delivered to us. There is a reason why when you drive by, or are walking in, there is a lot of seating and no one in a 100ft vicinity of the property. Highly recommend to go somewhere else. read more

We had the crab dip for two, Cajun Angels and Stuffed Flounder Parmesan. We were really excited based on the menu and the descriptions. And the food wasn't bad, it just really didn't have flavor to any of the food...potatoes and green beans included. There should have been a lot of flavor based on the menu descriptions. We came in closer to closing time and the manager on duty seemed very low energy. Perhaps because of a long night, but based on our experience at other restaurants in the area, it felt like it could've used a pick me up. Ambiance lived up to the name "Crab house." It was a recommended restaurant for the area. We'd give it another go on our next visit, just would hope it would set a higher bar! read more

It's off season so the place was almost empty. It was clean and tastefully decorated. Restrooms were clean. My waitress only visited the our table twice after the food was served. Needless to say my tea went empty several times. My blacked grouper was frozen fish. It was soft and mushy. It was seasoned well but frozen fish in this town is unexceptional. They did have great cole slaw. My mother's fried shrimp were obviously bought and frozen. For the price I doubt I will be dining here again. It's obviously a tourist trap. read more

So, we have been trying to go to this place for a while. Whenever we are going to Pensacola or Navarre but never seem to hit it at the right time. Tonight was the night. Really glad we stopped. It's so quaint and delicious. This is the vibe of a local down home seafood place who cooks fresh off the dock seafood. Our server was very friendly. They have specials, full bar. We got the fried blue crab claws, gumbo, peel and eat shrimp and rajun cajun fish dinner with red fish. All was so good. Unlike some places, they cook their seafood the way you are supposed to. The shrimp was perfect. The gumbo is glossy and rich and full of meat and seafood. The crab claws were meaty and a generous amount in the order. The redfish was firm covered in crawfish tails. We got the redfish spicy and it had great spicy kick! Go try this place. We will be back. read more

I had the grilled red fish and it was delicious. Their hush puppies were some of the best I've tasted while visiting Florida. My brother-in-law got the stuffed flounder covered in parmesan sauce and said it was so good. Great flavor! My husband got the blackened red fish and equally loved his. Loved their cole slaw too. First the good news. The people were super nice and friendly. We were there on a Monday night and service is expectedly relaxed and I'm not complaining. No problems with the service whatsoever. We went back to the bar to wait for our table and the bartender was also ice and helpful. My drink was fine but I had to stop her from putting Sweet and Low in it. An old fashioned is properly made with a sugar cube or simple syrup and I think substituting an artificial sweetener is crossing the line. At least ASK. With the sugar the drink was fine. Two of us had the blackened grouper and one of is had a broiled platter. No vegetables, not even as a substitute. Potatoes or fries. Yikes. The potatoes were halved red potatoes and they were fine. The Cole slaw was not bad. The hush puppies were good. But for $27 I want more than one piece of fish, dammit. That was a $15 entree at best and the fish was WAY overdone. If I had gotten fries it was almost Long John Silvers at that point. The grilled platter was better and even for $31 I might have been happier. At least the fish wasn't the consistency of sawdust. Dinner for 3, $93 (including tax, excluding the bar tab!). NOT worth it. read more

it was a slow night due to Halloween but the kitchen was on top of things. the cheese curds came out immediately and were quite tasty. I had the Mahi Mahi special for $17 and the portions were plenty and the fries were some of the best I have had. My dinner partner had the stuffed flounder and found it to be delicious and the accompanying green beans and new potatoes were also very good. We were too full to order dessert. We have been coming to Navarre Beach yearly for 8 years and East Bay is always on our list of must have Restaurants (we have been known to go twice during our week long visit). The food is excellent and the presentation of it is a testament of how much care they place in what they do. Be prepared for a longer than what you are used to wait (for your food), their food is not mass produced, it is prepared per order and comes out hot and fresh! Visiting PCB and took a drive to Pensacola visiting places in between. Happened upon East Bay Crab House. It seemed pretty dead and I was worried we stopped in a not so great place. The inside and ambiance is perfect. Lots of great decor. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our server quickly greeted us and was very helpful with the menu in making our decisions.
