This salon is so nice, plays good music, and parking is easy peasy. I've noticed that all the stylists are friendly with each other and it's an environment where you can decompress and just relaaaax. The star of my review is Anh! She's so talented, skilled, and simply the best. She's touched and blessed my hair in ways I cannot live without. She's corrected my hair from a terrible highlight job and gave me a beautiful balayage. I've gone pink with Anh and she started me off with a magenta that faded into the most delicate pastel pink. It was a TIME. It was the MOMENT. I always go to Anh to touch up my hair and no one else touched my hair. And when I went from blonde to brunette, she gave me a color that started out dark brown and then slowly became a gorgeous, sweet, and rich brown. And then I bleached my hair again - there is no one else I'd share this hair journey with! Then, only a few hours before my appointment, I was told it had to be canceled because of a school event for her child. I'm a mother too, and I completely understand that children come first. That was never the issue. The issue was the last-minute cancellation after my appointment had already been accepted and confirmed, leaving me with no reasonable chance to find another appointment. What made the situation worse was being told, "My child is more important than you." I never questioned that, and I certainly never asked her to choose a client over her child. I was simply disappointed by the lack of consideration for my time. Unexpected things happen, but professional communication and respect for a client's time still matter. Unfortunately, I would not book again.

I found Mary through Groupon after realizing I hadn't had a haircut in over a year (yes,…read moreseriously). My hair was all the way down to my booty with about four inches of split ends, and it was definitely time for a reset. I needed some serious layering and shaping to bring it back to life. The location was easy to find, and the salon suite had a cozy little waiting area with complimentary coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. I'll admit, Mary was younger than I expected, but she's been doing hair for over 10 years and really knows her stuff. She was super easy to talk to, listened to what I was looking for, and we looked at some inspo photos together before getting started. I ended up cutting my hair to around bra strap length, so we took quite a bit off--but I loved the result. Before, my hair felt long, thin, and lifeless. After she layered it, it felt so much healthier, fuller, and thicker. Even when I use my Revlon blow dryer brush now, the ends flip and curl beautifully instead of just falling flat. It actually looks styled with minimal effort, which I love. The Groupon itself was for a shampoo, condition, cut, and blowout--and the price was super reasonable, especially with a sale going on. I usually message the stylist first to see if they'll honor the sale price directly (since Groupon takes a big cut, no pun intended lol), and Mary was great about that. I don't usually spend a lot on haircuts--I move around a lot, don't go in regularly for trims, and I've never paid more than $40 for a haircut. But honestly? After seeing the results, I'd go back to her even though the actual price is $80. It was worth it. The salon setup is one of those suite-style locations, and Mary shares her space with another stylist. They were both working while I was there, but it wasn't too distracting. We were still able to have a great conversation, and it felt relaxed and comfortable. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Mary--especially if you're overdue for a haircut and want someone who listens, delivers great results, and makes the experience feel easy and personal.

The previous hairstylist over bleached my daughter's to a disgusting white gray blue highlights. My daughter just wanted regular medium yellow highlights, very standard stuff. Judging by previous happy customers with gorgeous hair color results on Yelp, ML Salon definitely showed experience and skill with Asian hair. We walked in and asked Michelle to help us. Despite my daughter's hair being in bad shape, Michelle was able to put toner on the hair and somehow changed the white hair highlights to a darker brown, more natural look. Check out the photos. I called ahead of time to ask about magic straight perm and was informed she could only quote me in person; understandably so. So, I went in a few hours after speaking with the owner on the phone. She quoted me fairly and I accepted. But shortly after, she talked very negatively about my hair. Her comments included that my hair was severely damaged and asked me if I liked my hair cut "like that" nodding to my newly grown in baby hairs (I'm a few months postpartum). I finally informed her that I'm newly postpartum. When she was prepping for the perm, she told me to wash my hair. And pointed me in the direction in which I should go. She told me to take off my glasses, so I walked without them and held them while I sat in the chair. As I was getting situated, she yelled at me as I was navigating the hair wash chair, "move forward!" Several times, aggressively, loudly, when honestly from my perspective it was scooting backward for one, but also I couldn't see without my glasses. It was at this point I was seriously considering just getting up and leaving but she had already trimmed my hair. I'm 3 days post-perm and results look fine, but honestly given my treatment by the owner I will not return. Very disappointed, as I was looking forward to a positive salon experience postpartum.

She did not cut my hair the way I showed her even though I showed her very specific photos. She used the blade of the scissors to basically razor my curly, thick hair. When I asked questions or pointed things out she'd cut it more for some reason. I figured I'd give it a day and make sure it wasn't just the way she styled it or how it was dried. After the day, it was, of course, still bad. I sent Jen the owner, who is very sweet, a message about having another stylist take a look at it, since she was the one who referred me. I felt and looked horrible. I did not message Amber because I thought she would take it personally and wig out- I was right. Amber called me at 9 in the evening! Then sent a series of rude messages accusing me of scamming her, which she deducted from my "character"- the only thing I talked about, when she wasn't talking over me about how she picks her nose and showing me explicit photos, was how I had surgery in Beverly Hills and that I volunteer as an English teacher for new American children. So by "character", she really meant non-White and brown skinned. I've never encountered such a disgusting display of ineptitude of skill, professionalism, and basic social and common sense. For someone of her advanced age, it is egregious to receive such horrible customer service and disrespectful communication. She did not apologize and instead played coy and told me to "calm down" and that I was "off the rails" when I calmly asked for my money back and she needed to respond for her rude messages. She was cutting my hair for over an hour and she cut it WAY shorter than I asked. She parted my bangs wrong and they were completely crooked by the time we were done. In the middle of the haircut she cut her finger and she didn't wash her hands or put on a bandaid she just kept cutting my hair. And instead of washing my hair to wet it before the cut she just sprayed me with a spray bottle. She also poked my eye with the handle of her scissors which wouldn't have bothered me as much if everything was done correctly. I paid $45 for an awful haircut that took way longer than it should've. I left feeling ugly and I will never be going back.

Where do I begin!…read more I had Brittany Do a hair trial for my wedding back in April 2021. She was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. I have very thin hair and I wasnt sure my style that I wanted would go well with how thin my hair was. Brittany was fast and knew exactly what I wanted and put my vision together. She did recommended hair extensions to make my hair fuller. (Which she colored matched since I've never colored my hair) I booked her and paid in full since I loved her work! I also asked her to do All Up-do's for my wedding party and everyone's hair to be up since mine was down. I did have a few woman in my wedding party who were a bit upset that they couldn't wear thier hair down. Brittany was on top of these woman and made sure my wishes were meet and kept her composer and had my back! She arrived on time with the wedding being an hr and 30 min away and she even had time to do my sister in law and my God daughter hair. Which was a total of 8 woman!
