    Three piece tender meal.
    Amy J.

I went through the drive through today for lunch. The service was great, no complaints there. The food, however, is not great. They have the exact same concept as Cane's, but with a few more sauce options. I got the three piece chicken tender meal - it comes with fries, a medium drink (Pepsi products), and Texas toast with a choice of dipping sauce. The fries were undercooked and limp. The chicken pieces are very large, but I think that makes them more juicy, so the breading was soggy and crumbling off. I don't like it much. The bread was the best part, it's soft and buttery. So I ended up eating the bread and finding something else to eat. The honey mustard was decent. Cane's is better.

We drive down to this area at least once a month and always looking for something new to try. Todays adventures landed us at Hunny Bee's. The 1st thing to note is how clean this store is!? It was spotless. The 2nd thing of note is the folks working here, they are so dag gone friendly. We ate in so we got to listen to them interact and it was just amazing how well they all get along. The manager(Brian) seems to be liked by everybody. He's not telling anybody to do work, he's talking to them and simply asking. There is zero animosity from the folks. You have no idea how incredibly rare this is for us. The food, we asked and they suggested 'the Favorite' which includes tenders, enough fries to few small family, a slice of buttered bread, side of coleslaw and a drink. I got Diet Coke and the lovely Mrs got sweet tea. She's real particular about her sweet tea and she stated this could be one of the best teas she's had? The chicken was meaty, crispy and delicious. The fries were fresh out of the cooker so they were perfect. It was all tasty! No clue how it took so long for us to give this place a try. We will, for sure, be back when we are back in the area. If you're anywhere close to Dayton, craving chicken tenders, and want to support a local mom and pop store. Go here! And ask for extra Hive Sauce... it's so good...

When I was wrapping up my trash after getting Hunny Bee's for lunch, I caught myself saying--under my breath, to nobody--"Wow."

I recently ordered delivery from this Culver's restaurant…read more I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Value Basket which comes with a drink and side. I ordered the onion rings as a side which is about a dollar up charge. I also ordered a single patty ButterBurger with cheese. Delivery was really quick. The Mushroom and Swiss burger came in its own box. Both burgers were very good. They were seasoned really well, fried good and quite appetizing. The hamburger bun is a little thicker than most burger joints. The onion rings were very good, fried perfectly and not overtly greasy. The onion rings come with your choice of sauce. I chose Culver's signature sauce which is a white sauce, mildly spicy, and has a pickle taste in my opinion. I highly recommend. Food is a little more than most fast food places, but everything was packaged carefully and it appears they take pride in the food that they serve.

The food was great,as normal. I tried the cod sandwich, which was delicious & piping hot. Only…read morecomplaint about it is at looking at the ingredients online, it does have canola and/or soybean oil in the breading AND that it's fried in. The cashier was kinda pushy with the sauces. I asked if any sauces came with meals for free and she said no. All sauces are at least 35 cents. That does irritate me. Two things: 1st, that the menu doesn't list prices of sauces (at least list a price range instead of "sauces may have a fee") and 2nd, that the cashiers push them for every meal, every person. I wrote a great review last time we were here, but noticed another reviewer complained about being charged for the dips/sauces. I don't remember feeling pushed to order sauce the previous time, and I don't use much dip or sauce with my meals. But other fast-food restaurants automatically include dip/sauce with certain items like onion rings, so that is why I asked about a different sauce than the cashier was pushing- for my onion rings. But because of the extra cost, I chose not to order any sauce. It probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if I hadn't noticed how the cashier girl kept pushing the boom boom sauce to every single person in our party, but without mentioning the extra fee. With budgets getting tighter & tighter, we're having to be more careful with our money. Thirty-five cents (or more) may not seem like much, but If everyone in the family orders 1-2 sauces, it can (and has in the past) add several dollars to your bill that you weren't expecting. We've been eating out a LOT because of a renovation we're working on. We've eaten at this Culver's quite a few times and until yesterday, all the cashiers have been pleasant, helpful & cheerful. I can't say yesterday's cashier wasn't pleasant, but it felt forced. Like she wasn't truly a pleasant cheerful person or really didn't want to be there. Most other cashiers in the past have been extremely friendly & helpful & seem genuine. Anyway, between the extra, hidden costs of sauces for your meal, the overall cost of eating out (anywhere; not just here) and looking at the ingredients lists online and (not surprisingly) finding MANY MANY food products containing and/or being fried in soybean and canola oils, we will be making eating out a rare thing ASAP- for out budget and our health! But the food does taste good. And I was pleasantly surprised to see ACTUAL BUTTER. Butter in the buns and if you get a butter packet, it's actually butter- not margarine or a blend with crappy oils. So that's a positive.

I ordered the Cainiac Combo with a large Hi-C fruit punch drink. This combination meal comes with five chicken fingers, curly fries, a side of coleslaw, and a slice of Texas toast. The chicken fingers are breaded really well, juicy, and really good tasting. Two containers of Cane's sauce were included. The dipping sauce is somewhat spicy but there isn't really a kick The coleslaw was pretty good and creamy. The Texas toast was good as well. I didn't care for the krinkle fries. They seemed cold not very flavorful. I wish Cane's had other sides to choose from like green beans or mashed potatoes and gravy. I give this establishment 4 stars because the chicken fingers were good but I cannot recommend the fries. They are hard, lack flavor, and were delivered cold. I would go for the chicken fingers but not the fries. The Cainiac Combo with five chicken fingers is a lot of food.

Once the seating area got under control they right away came out to switch out trash and start cleaning. Kudos to the whole team

Five cars came in after I did and got service. In fact they pulled in parked under the canopy placed their order and pull back to the back row. I got tired of waiting so I place my to go order. Just after I got done ordering here comes a car hop. She asked if I needed anything I told her I placed a online order. Didn't ask my name or anything like that. So the online order app shows status three bars 1 preparing next cooking the third I guess ready. I sent a message of Facebook letting them know to have the car hops do a better job watching the back row. It said my food would be ready in 30 minutes being as busy as they are I figured as much. So at 20 minutes I guess it was done But I didn't know the app still said cooking. So a carhop came out asked me if I was a me. I said yes. Kind of a attitude.
