Upon arrival, the individual working at check-in was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming. While she technically completed the check-in process, the interaction felt cold and transactional. Quite frankly, a robot could have delivered the same level of hospitality. First impressions matter immensely in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately the tone was set immediately upon arrival. Matters only worsened once I entered my assigned room. The room was missing light bulbs, and the carpet was not merely damp -- it was completely soaked. After a long and exhausting day of travel and airports, this was both frustrating and unacceptable. When I contacted the front desk to report the issue, I was instructed to return downstairs to obtain a new room key. Respectfully, I do not believe a guest should be further inconvenienced after being assigned an uninhabitable room. A replacement key should have been brought directly to me, particularly given the circumstances and hour. When I returned to the desk, the same employee remained curt and dismissive. As "compensation" for the inconvenience, she hastily scribbled something on a yellow slip of paper and informed me I would receive a complimentary breakfast. Frankly, this felt less like customer service and more like an attempt to quickly dismiss the issue for such and egregious situation. Unfortunately, even the second room failed to meet basic cleanliness standards. I found myself cleaning the bathroom floor because it was evident it had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to reassignment. By that point -- around midnight -- I had neither the energy nor desire to engage in another interaction that I believed would likely become confrontational or unproductive. I simply concluded that this was apparently the level of service this establishment considered acceptable. I want to be clear: the employee was not overtly hostile, but she was entirely lacking in warmth, professionalism, empathy, or any sense of hospitality. Someone in that role serves as the first face of your organization, and in this instance, that first impression was profoundly poor. This experience fell far below reasonable expectations for any hotel, regardless of price point, but particularly for a Hilton property. I hope this matter is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to evaluate both customer service expectations and room quality standards.

It wasn't anything crazy but it was a nice little surprise! The hotel was giant. There's a lot of cool artwork and decorations that can keep you entertained as you walk through the hotel. The rooms were pretty clean and were a decent size, but again nothing too spectacular especially for the price. We also got a couples massage. I loved my deep tissue but my girlfriend's masseuse didn't really use as much pressure as she needed, so I guess it was a hit or miss experience. One thing that does seem a little shiest is how they charge for the massage. They tell you an upfront price (e.g. $140 each to deep tissue), but aren't as up front with the mandatory 20% tip. I don't mind tipping at all, but mandating a 20% tip (especially for an underwhelming experience) is a little absurd. It would be better if they just built it into the up front pricing instead of trying to sneak it in at the end.
