He did not clean off his boots and brought dirt into the house and is on the runner of my stairs. He did not really care when I mentioned this either. He did not have a ladder ready to bring inside because it was wet and on top of his vehicles so I had to get the ladder for him that I had. He left the floor dirty with insulation that came from the attic and didn't even offer to clean it up....didn't even acknowledge it. He left without saying goodbye...this whole visit was strange and I sent a note to complain. Laurie was very considerate and timely, but I don't think the same for the rest of the company. Her manager Matt does not care for follow up in customer complaints.

Today I was seeing patients in at a skilled nursing facility and my wife, who happens to work at…read morethe facility, mentioned that that a mouse was stuck in a sticky trap. My wife asked if I could help her safely remove it and set it free. As we were trying to release this little mouse from it's sticky trap, an A to Z worker happened to show up. I had such misconceptions about pest control services and thought they believed all pests must die. We actually thought the person that showed up was going to be upset with us. He arrived right after we freed the little mouse from the trap using hand sanitizer but we had concerns it was injured in the process . This guy took over care of the little creature, checked all its limbs, assured it was going to to do ok, placed it comfortably in its truck and fed it peanut for strength. Mind blown. He informed us that they do their best to free any trapped animal safely back to nature. I wish I knew the name of this guy but it was just a wonderful to see a "pest control' person handle this little baby mouse with so much compassion. Heart warming during this difficult time. When I called Cowleys to inquire what happened, they said they don't actually confirm these visits - they just show up?? But then why would you knock on my door if you don't need anyone to be present? This is WILDLY unprofessional behavior - not just showing up unannounced with chemicals in a home with a newborn, but then trying to gaslight me for your lack of communication. The entire phone call felt like the rep was annoyed at me and she did absolutely nothing to help beyond adding me to a "list" where they would notify me to confirm future visits. I've received confirmation from them in the past, so I don't know what happened on their end, but I cancelled my service with the rep immediately. What a waste of money this whole ordeal was.
