The first part of my visit involved scans and X-Rays to establish care and then they were able to take care of my hygiene. FAMILY First Dental would be the 6th dental company to be the last to work on the same molar. I was happy to hear that Dr. Zavala came up with a technique to make a crown for my molar that would ensure it will not have a problem staying on. As soon as he saw my molar he knew why the other dental places had failed. He told me that in order for a molar to have a proper crown the length of the molar had to be atleast 2mm. My molar was 1mm on one side and 1/2mm on the other side. Therefore he exposed more of the molar by cutting the gum because the xrays showed my molar was long. He made a different type of groove to make sure it stuck. Instead of the traditional, he made a cross indentation in the middle. I was "wow" that looks like a cross which I loved. It made me feel like yep God is blessing me. He knows how much I've go e through with this molar. Today I got the permanent crown delivered and it feels great. I can finally eat food without worrying and my molar is protected. Family First Dental staff made me feel like they actually cared about doing the work correctly and also gave me information where I understood what was being done and why. They have made me very happy and I'm definitely bringing my kids here. I've had this fear of dental places because it seemed they just want to do things at a 50% quality not Famiky First Dental. The techs are almost as bad, hooking and tearing at the gums through the entire process of a basic cleaning. I had a previous dentist tell me "if a tech makes you bleed from hooking you during a cleaning then they are not good". Then they are rude condescending as hell if you decline the Fluoride. My daughter had appointment with these jerks and they straight up told her that they are well aware her parents never let get her the fluoride, then they proceeded to give it to her anyway and charge her for it.

Yes, there's a slight pinch when the Novocain starts, but Dr Isler has some sort of state-of-the-art equipment that instead of needing more like 5 shots, there is only one! I was instantly out of pain from an abscessed tooth that was just really so unfathomable I could not even sleep for 2 days prior to this procedure. I hate to admit this, but I have had root canal treatment years ago and I remember the past being just a long, painful experience that went on for hours. Well, Dr Isler, some magical way got TWO done in less than 35 minutes!!!! That's insane!!!! Not only that, but I walked away FREE of all the misery I had been in before the procedure[s]. I mentioned to Dr Isler that he must be some kind of brilliant magician to make this such a PLEASANT and PAINLESS experience.
