Great place for a bigger group! Reserving the suites online in advance was super easy. We had 10 of…read moreus, so decided to go with two suites for 2.5 hours and play best ball. We didn't quite get through 18 holes, but could have if we pushed it a little. The suites are big with a large counter in the back, large high top counter/table to sit at, own fridge, and own bathroom. We brought food and drink which really cut down on the expenses for the evening. In total it was about $27 per person to golf. I'd recommend watching the video they provide before you go because the cell service in the suites is not very good. We happened to see an employee and he helped us set everything up. Each two suites is separated by a garage door, so bigger groups can have more people golf and more space. Easily could have had 15-20 people (all not golfing) comfortably and still play quite a few holes. I've never been to a golf simulator, so I have nothing to compare this to. However, we all agreed we'd definitely do it again and it was worth the money! The suites are very nice and clean. Just make sure you pick up and leave it as you found it!

This used to be a 9 hole course but they have 18 holes of great golf. I'm not sure if there shop is back yet they had a little trailer they were running everything out of last year and I have yet been back this year but when I come home from traveling for work you will find me here!

Triple Play Park is probably one of the best youth ball field complexes in the Iowa City/ Cedar…read moreRapids area. Period. End of story. I played here as a kid and they really have made some great changes to the original four fields since! (I believe these were made around 2020- when the CR Reds baseball/softball organization took over this site.) The infields were completely redone and the back-stops were replaced with a 30' tall netting. There are new dugouts and the concession area was updated. Finally (while I think they should have added stalls) the restrooms are updated and clean. There's a playground area for the kids as well as batting cages. But the most impressive thing about Triple Play Park is the addition of Dinger Plaza. My 10U team played here this past weekend and what a nice field. It rained cats and dogs the night before, but you'd have never known that. These two new fields are geared toward younger teams and I think they're a great size-- home runs are possible for a ten year old which is crazy. (My only qualm is how close the backstop is to home.) There's plenty of parking. It's continently across the street from Casey's and down the street from Edith Lucielle's Bait Shack & Wing Depot. I like playing closer to home but if I need to make the drive to CR-- I hope it's to Triple Play Park!

First time at the park and my dog got attacked to the point she was bleeding and there's a gash on…read moreher back. This is right outside of the park, we just got out of the car. We Paid for the permit, read all the rules, waited patiently in the car for the training section, did everything by the book. My dogs not aggressive at all, they was excited to go and meet other dogs (I have two standard poodles a 3 year old and 1 year old). Then this old dude pulled up with his husky and mutt, he saw us getting out the car, my dogs was on leashed when he decided to let his aggressive dog out of the car off leashed and attack mine, drew blood! Caused a gash on her back. Incompetent, ignorant, irresponsible, illiterate human being caused pain to my dog! We will be back and I hope and pray I see him again so I can sue him for the damages he caused. I hope the city put that aggressive dog down before that dog cause serious injury! My dog now in shock and in pain. Sometimes it's not you, but other irresponsible people! Now we got a problem.

It's a HUGE fenced in space, divided into three sections - training, small dogs, and general. Plenty of space to play together or branch off by yourself. There is a gravel path that goes around the entire play area where human parents usually just walk laps to keep up with their fur babies. I've noticed about as much forgotten/missed poops as I have at other parks, but the backdrop of this one is so soothing. It's tucked back in Squaw Creek Park by the driving range, surrounded by wild grass and a community garden plot. The park is maintained by CR Parks and K9COLA, which hosts small events at the parks every so often (Halloween treat hunts?!)
