Sway Bar hosted my 29th birthday, and the owner and his wife went out of their way to make not only my experience a memorable one, but also each of my guests. At the time, the bar was brand new and my guests (about 30 or so people) were unfamiliar with the establishment. At the end of the night, my guests were raving about the "Totally cool new bar that opened up in Schiller Park!" I found myself in Sway Bar frequently after my first visit, and each time is better than the last. The staff is friendly and easy to chat with. On the weekends, you can often catch a local DJ spinning some jams. Beware, impromptu dancing takes over like mad. I dare you to not have an awesome time! I was traveling alone, and on my arrival night at the hotel, I had a beer at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bartenders. The meal came with big smashes potatoes on the side, along with sourdough bread & jam. Enjoyed my drink as well, made with Starbucks coffee & added vanilla. The breakfast was a whopping $30 however, which I find kind of wild. Is it just that it's because the restaurant is inside a hotel? Maybe these are typical Chicago prices? Either way, plan to spend a fair bit to dine here.
