The care is good, they're attentive and mainly do they're job but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a hit or miss with the friendliness or kindness but it may just be the staff had a bad or long day. We're all human after all. They do charge you for every little thing, so whatever they give you or treat you with if you're admitted, take and use. Parking gets expensive, especially if you're there on a regular. It's $1.50/15min or $12 max, I posted a picture of the sign with prices and info. You might be able to get comped parking depending on what you're being treated for. It never hurts to ask. You can't just wonder in or around, there are security posted in several areas. In the outpatient clinic areas the staff seem more friendly. If you're visiting someone who was admitted, you need to show an ID and will have your picture taken for a printed temp visitor's pass. The staff at this info/check in desk are not the friendliest in my experiences.

Clarification: no body puts others at ri$k. Past out break was cr8ed 4 Con,Trol
Lupita L.

Day staff is friendlier than night staff. Some ppl in uniform think they are almighty cuz they wear a uniform & a fake badge. For those of you who know reality I debated coming. Came day b4 but left to go to urgent care. My mistake cuz now it's packed. :( I must say I take nurse was very hospitable. Everyone wearing thing on face. It's cool cuz they're coughing all over the place so whatever but let me Clarify no body puts others at ri$k. Pretty sure they all had something stuck in @rm. The oUt break was cr8ed 4 Con,Trol. Hope it's getting clear by the minute. Over all place ok except for some but it's expected to have some right ? :/ Send me a pr ayer it's not serious. Thank you GB

What type of insurance does this hospital accept?

They take most insurance with preferential treatment. They'll even have you sign an statement stating that you will pay out of pocket if your insurance does not. They prefer PPO. PPOs are easier to receive money from.

Do they validate parking?

No, you will have to pay but you possibly can find street parking.

Is this a private or public hospital?

Private

From the moment you walk in, the environment is impeccably clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed--it strikes the perfect balance between medical office and a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to explain each treatment in a way that feels both informative and reassuring. I typically come in for B12 shots, (I recommend the Honey Badger) , and the process is quick, seamless, and handled with great care. Efficiency, level of professionalism, and attention to detail is what you receive throughout the entire visit. I've personally noticed a meaningful improvement in my energy levels and overall sense of well-being following my treatments. Equally important, I feel completely confident in the safety and quality of care provided here. Scheduling is easy. You can call or check the schedule online. Appointments run on time, and every interaction reflects a high standard of service. NOTE: Parking is free for the first 90 minutes, but keep in mind the day and time you go can make it a challenge to find parking. Give yourself time. You park in the same lot with A LOT of restaurants. You need the code to get into the office building. No appointments passed 5pm and not Saturdays. I will absolutely continue coming back.

So I take the time and the diligence to research and review potential enhancements and solutions that accommodate and complement my goals. The Mark Men's Health - Gained noticeable muscle mass in just four months and feel an overall better quality of life and regained vitality.

I started working with Mark Men's Health around mid-November, so it's been about four months now,…read moreand I can genuinely say the experience has been a game changer. When I first came in, they ran a baseline panel, which was incredibly helpful. I'm in my late thirties, and I learned that my levels were actually below the optimal threshold, something I wouldn't have fully understood without their guidance. That initial clarity alone made the process worth it. For context, I've been consistently working out since I was 22, so about 16 years. I came in already feeling in shape but felt like I had plateaued in many areas in my life, but with very specific goals around increasing muscle mass and optimizing performance and feeling healthier overall. Since starting, I've seen dramatically real, measurable gains in muscle mass (9 lbs in muscle mass), along with noticeable improvements in strength and recovery. Since starting, I've not just seen clear, measurable gains in muscle mass but also dramatic increases in strength. Some of my major lifts have improved by roughly 40-60%, which is something I hadn't experienced in years despite consistent training. Beyond the physical changes, the impact on my overall well-being has been significant. My mood is more stable and positive, my energy is up, and there's been a clear improvement in my sexual health and relationship to my body. I feel more connected, more confident, and overall just healthier. What I also really appreciate is that this hasn't felt like a siloed approach to health. I've been working in tandem with my primary care physician, and when I shared the protocols and care I'm receiving at The Mark, my PCP was genuinely impressed with the level of attention, safety, and medical oversight Mark Men's Health provides. That gave me an extra layer of confidence that I'm doing this the right way. And I have to say, the staff here is exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. They take the time to answer every question, never rush you, and operate at a very high level of professionalism. The facility itself reflects that same standard, clean, modern, and thoughtfully run. I would highly recommend this to anyone, at any age, who is curious about where their levels are and how they can feel better in their body. It's not just about numbers, it's about working with a team that's invested in helping you improve your quality of life in a real, sustainable way.

Very clean and spacious…read more I had an appointment set up already through my account. There are different packages you can buy. Some with lab tests, some without. Also, the scans varies by price too. Parking is at the Erewhon parking structure. Parking is free. The checking process was very easy. She asked what music from Spotify or YouTube video I want to watch. I opted for the Spotify and told her what music I wanted to listen to. There was no one else waiting. I was brought to a changing room. Make sure there are no metals in or on your body. Since I had a full body mri scan, it took 45 min. Since I chose Spotify music, the tech also put on YouTube video, but it made me nauseous. So I asked if I can turn it off. She turned it off for me. Laying there was super comfortable. Great staff interaction at reception for department 41 with Melanie…read more I get one of my meds from Canada as it is not covered by insurance and only costs $1 a pill vs in the U.S. $45 per pill. To use CanadianPharmacyKing.com I need a physical signed script to send them and Kaiser only uses electronic scripts. Unfortunately due to the strike the RN's who normally handle this are not available and Melanie took the time to locate the backup team member (which took a min) to get my prescription done today while she still checked in other patients!

I drove an hour in traffic after work to get to the Kaiser Pasadena Pharmacy by 8:45 pm, relieved I…read morehad made it in time. When I arrived, the pharmacy doors were locked. A pharmacist came out and said they closed at 8 pm. Before leaving work, I checked the hours in three places online, including Google and Kaiser's own website in two different spots. All said 9 pm. It takes minutes to update hours online so you are not wasting people's time and money. That is basic integrity. There were two people inside waiting and she said they were urgent care patients, so they stay open until 9 pm for urgent care. Given that they had not updated their hours, you would think they could take two minutes to grab my prescription. I had received the text that it was ready and had just driven an hour to pick it up. Integrity feels rare these days. There are things I like about Kaiser and things that are ludicrous. Pros: everything is in one building. Referrals are easier than they used to be. Many appointments can be done online, which is a huge timesaver. The mental health practitioners I have interacted with have been kind and caring. Things that need improvement: I was on a waitlist for over a year to get a therapist. Now that I have one, appointments are still hard to get because there are very few available. My doctor recently had me do labs to change medication. I checked the results myself and saw I have hypothyroidism. No one called me to explain this. I only realized it because I looked up what the labs meant. When I read the symptom list and saw I have nearly all of them, I was shocked I had never been tested before. Ladies, get your hormones checked. Women's health care is still lacking. Which brings me to my IUD insertion. It was so agonizing I almost passed out, so they sent me home with medication to dilate before trying again. What they did not tell me is that the dilation medication caused worse pain than when I had kidney stones. Kaiser does not provide localized pain relief for IUD insertions, and I had already taken the maximum dose of ibuprofen. The first attempt was 40 minutes of agony. The second attempt involved 4 hours of severe dilation pain followed by another 35 minutes of insertion. That does not include the long wait times. They need better training or actual pain management for women. Lastly, I needed an EKG before starting a new medication. When I called, there were no appointments available for weeks, but my doctor needed it within a week. She told me to go to the Pasadena nurse clinic as a walk in and gave me the hours. I booked the far out appointment just in case and went as a walk in. The receptionist said they could not fit me in because they were full and only open two more hours. I asked when to come back and returned at the time he suggested. He then said the nurse who does EKGs would be leaving in an hour and could not see me. This was the second time I had followed their instructions and been turned away. I had rented a car just to get there. He sent me to Glendale. I drove 45 minutes in rush hour and arrived just before closing. The nurse there told me Pasadena should not have sent me away and that they are supposed to take walk ins but keep sending patients to Glendale. They were incredibly kind and saw me even though they were close to closing. I know Kaiser employees likely work in a tough, fast paced system. But with the massive amounts of money insurance companies make, you would think there would be more efficient care, accessible mental health services, better women's health care, updated hours, and policies that are actually honored. Too often patients are treated like cattle, rushed through to get to the next. Wouldn't it be nice if health care actually cared? A gal can dream...
