The care is good, they're attentive and mainly do they're job but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a hit or miss with the friendliness or kindness but it may just be the staff had a bad or long day. We're all human after all. They do charge you for every little thing, so whatever they give you or treat you with if you're admitted, take and use. Parking gets expensive, especially if you're there on a regular. It's $1.50/15min or $12 max, I posted a picture of the sign with prices and info. You might be able to get comped parking depending on what you're being treated for. It never hurts to ask. You can't just wonder in or around, there are security posted in several areas. In the outpatient clinic areas the staff seem more friendly. If you're visiting someone who was admitted, you need to show an ID and will have your picture taken for a printed temp visitor's pass. The staff at this info/check in desk are not the friendliest in my experiences.

Day staff is friendlier than night staff. Some ppl in uniform think they are almighty cuz they wear a uniform & a fake badge. For those of you who know reality I debated coming. Came day b4 but left to go to urgent care. My mistake cuz now it's packed. :( I must say I take nurse was very hospitable. Everyone wearing thing on face. It's cool cuz they're coughing all over the place so whatever but let me Clarify no body puts others at ri$k. Pretty sure they all had something stuck in @rm. The oUt break was cr8ed 4 Con,Trol. Hope it's getting clear by the minute. Over all place ok except for some but it's expected to have some right ? :/ Send me a pr ayer it's not serious. Thank you GB

I walked…read morein today (its a Monday today) at around 11am and there were only like 3 people in there with me (only 1 when I walked in then 2 or 3 more while i was waiting). I was scared it wouldnt be the same anymore for me when I switched out insurances to my EPO insurance with my job, but when I called they easily told me they accepted it without even having to run anything and when I got there the wait was extremely fast, the process was extremely simple, the place was extremely clean and with nice aesthetics, and Jessica the NP I saw this time prescribed me exactly what I hoped for and needed (she didnt just give me basic amoxicillin, she went above and beyond prescription-wise to cover whatever possible current bacterial sickness it was i have (bad cough for over a month now) by going a step above and prescribing augmentin and im extremely happy with that decision because 1) she actually looked at my history and asked me what autoimmune condition I have and when I told her one of them is sjrogens (yes I have multiple lifelong autoimmune conditions now induced from prior years of intense stress, I came out with several long term conditions that affect me ever since some intense periods of stress for several years from like 2016 and onwards) she said the augmentin would be less drying for me so I really appreciate that she looked at all angles and initiated taking this into consideration, and 2) it will cover much more strains than pure amoxicillin which will prevent me from taking an antibiotic that may not kill what I have and we all know that taking antibiotics that wont do what it needs to do causes a whole other bunch of unnecessary problems, so im glad she wasnt stingy/playing it too safe or basic with the prescription like how alot of other providers may be at times) and I quickly left with exactly what I needed. They also have Xray machines there in case you need any diagnostics like that and the only ones they dont do is XR skull ot XR abdomen. My copay only ended up being $15 and im so so so freaking glad I have a place i can still go to now for a great urgent care experience if I ever need to even after the stress of switching out of my insurance to another one, so im super relieved and appreciate Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena so much. The girl that picked up the phone was super sweet (i love that she would call me Hun hahah and she was so helpful and nice, she also would initiate giving me important info that would prevent potential headache that could be avoided too like telling me that they would close earlier today at 3 because of memorial day which i appreciate), the guy at the front was also super nice, Oscar the XR tech who took my vitals was nice, and so was the other sweetheart who also escorted me out of the room (another nice girl, I think she had glasses on). I didn't even have to do anything for checkout. It was the fastest visit ever and I got 100% what I needed. When I walked out it was only like noon sharp but I will say that it got way busier between the time that I walked in at 11am till when I walked out at noon. The waiting room was about at least half full when I left, so im guessing maybe like 6+ people, but still looked quite manageable and like i said the place is so nice the wait just doesnt FEEL long even if it does end up being a little longer. They are fast, efficient, clean, the providers give you what you need, and most of all, they easily have accepted all my insurances even after switching to EPO. Went to the pharmacy after to pick up my med, super cheap, like $6 for the augmentin. Even cheaper than my prescription nasal spray !! Lol. Thank god for this place

Why I chose this location: This urgent care is about 20 minutes from me, but I decided to come here because I saw that it had a large number of very positive Yelp reviews. The Pasadena location was also a plus. Maybe this was a naive assumption on my part, but I felt that going a little farther to Pasadena might give me a better chance of receiving a higher level of care. Overall, my experience was good. The front desk and billing staff were kind, informative, patient, and efficient. I was in and out within about 1.5 hours, although I did arrive early in the morning. The NP and other staff were professional, and I really don't have anything negative to say about how I was treated personally. A couple of things I think could be improved: The facility and exam rooms felt somewhat outdated. This is obviously cosmetic and doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of medical care, but based on the location and reviews, I expected the environment to feel a little more updated. Being updated just makes me feel safer knowing the practice cares about their equipment and environment. To me everything starts with foundation. More importantly, although the provider answered my questions & provided me meds needed to relieve pain, I left feeling somewhat medically dismissed regarding the reason I came in. I understand that an urgent care provider can't give me a definitive diagnosis without the appropriate testing, and I wasn't expecting one. However, I came in because I was experiencing significant pain and symptoms that concerned me, and I was hoping for a little more curiosity and collaboration in figuring out what might be going on. Even if the answer is, "This is outside the scope of urgent care," I would have appreciated more guidance on what type of doctor I should see next, what symptoms I should monitor, and what testing might be worth discussing with my doctor. I wasn't looking for an immediate diagnosis - I was looking to a medical professional for guidance on how to appropriately take care of myself and determine my next steps. Overall, I had a good experience operationally and everyone was professional. I just wish I had left feeling a little more heard and with a clearer path forward.

I was in the ER for 19 hours because they didn't have any beds upstairs. That is unacceptable. But the doctors and nurses did their best to care for me until I could be admitted. Wen was part of the overnight staff and was incredible. The ER was not sanitary. The bathrooms in the waiting room and within the ER especially were not being maintained and I might have contracted the flu from using them. Once I was admitted to the second floor, the levels of care were exponentially better. I had around the clock care and a call button for if I needed anything. They made sure I knew what was happening with my body and gave me full control over my treatment options. The food was surprisingly acceptable; sometimes even good. One thing that I found strange was that I never was told about how billing worked or what my insurance would cover. I am lucky that they are contracted with my insurance and I only owe $50 from the ER. But it is concerning that I never was told about billing while I was there. TLDR: Hire more sanitation workers!

All rooms are full now, so we will put your son's name up next." Even after that, we waited about another 20 minutes, and my son was finally seen about one hour late. The most disappointing part was that, according to the front desk, people after our reservation number had been put ahead of us, but no one apologized for the mistake or delay. I have never been to UrgentMed before. I arrived at exactly 4pm and told the lady at the front desk I had an appointment. She said "You must be at the wrong place, we don't do appointments". I then said, "Yes, you do -- I made one online". She then said again, "You have the wrong place. Can you go outside while you figure out where you are supposed to be?" I was flabbergasted. As I'm about to leave, she said "Oh, are you Ryan?, come on back". Just to note, they absolutely do appointments online. You can select your time and pre-register and then show up at your designated time. She clearly didn't know what she was talking about and shouldn't at all be a representative of the company. Sadly, there were four other employees all standing around chatting with each other up front and the one lady looked shocked at the way she treated me, but said nothing. But anyway, guess what? An appointment didn't do a darn thing here. I was sat in a room at 4:04PM and the doctor came in at 5:33PM. Just shy of 1.5 hours, which is ridiculous. An assistant came in at 4:30PM to take vitals and after her three minutes with me said "The doctor will be right in". Her definition of "right in" is 1 more hour. The doctor was actually incredibly nice and seemed to take the time to listen to me and do a proper examination; however, everything else was just a hell of a mess. I will be following up to make sure that this gets remedied and I hear back from someone appropriate in decision making for this location.

They don't care about the patients, are not friendly, are not gentle, ignore patients, talk about patients in mean ways outside of the curtains so that the patients can hear. One of them was making fun of a mentally ill person loud enough for all of us to hear. RUBY is a terrible person. Each time I've been in the ER, she never smiles and she is aggressive and talks down to patients. Meanwhile she is outside of the curtains singing so so so loud and listening to music on her phone and dancing with other nurses. Two of the male doctors there have no empathy and are also rude and gaslight patients. I will never ever ever go back to this hospital. The paramedics had to BREATHE for me recently because I had anaphylaxis and my lips were turning blue. I was convinced I was going to pass away. The male dr working that day told me it was a panic attack. It was the scariest thing I've ever gone through. My oxygen level was at 80 and that was after I had oxygen. That dr made a joke about how my heart rate went up after I saw him. I was traumatized and he was making inappropriate jokes. Whoever is hiring the staff here should be absolutely ashamed. The nurses leave elderly folks to suffer when they are trying to get a blanket, etc. Even when this place isn't busy, so many of the nurses ignore patients completely. Ruby wanted to stick a patient who OD'd in back room when she was unconscious. Thank god one of the nurses told her that the patient could die and that they needed to monitor her and Ruby was arguing with her about it. Amy and Ruby were talking about drama and Amy made a joke to me about the person next to me in a bed being crazy. Terrible people. The absolute worst. One time I was at the hospital with appendicitis and they left me in the most excruciating pain for EIGHT hours. When I asked a major nurse for a cup of ice he THREW it at me and rudely said "THERES YOUR ICE". One of the Drs said if I would've been out there for a few more minutes I would've gone septic. I wonder how many patients here get sicker or pass away from NEGLECT. Do NOT go here. Believe me. Go anywhere else. Do yourself the biggest favor and never bring any of your loved ones here. They will be treated like they are the scum of the earth. I would rather stay home during an emergency than go here. Also, upon arriving, I was anaphylactic and the woman was trying to take a picture of my heart immediately upon getting into the ER. They didn't m on oxygen or anything. I had a shot of epiphedrine that my mom gave me so the adrenaline had me shaking and the woman trying to take a photo of my heart was YELLING AT ME TO STOP SHAKING. She yelled at me about eight times when I couldn't breathe at all. Thank god someone finally took me back when my lips were completely swollen from the potentially deathly reaction I was having! Also, Dr. Sarah Harrington (gyno) shows up to work 2-4 hours late every day. The waiting room is full so full of patients so you have to potentially wait for several more hours before being seen!!! They double book patients. If you go here, pack a lunch and a dinner. You'll be here all day. I don't even know how this is legal. If you care about your well-being, your health, your life... don't come here.
