We have a newer home with no backyard landscaping and it is a big yard. We had an opportunity to borrow a dump trailer recently which enabled us to get a lot of rock very easily. So much, that we decided to purchase a dump trailer. We were unable to find a suitable used one and decided to explore new options. Based on our exploration of used trailers we could see that we would not lose much value if we were to sell it in a few years. Dump trailers really hold their value! We came to Huntley about a year ago because we anticipated the need but were not ready at that time. As we researched and checked out both used and new dump trailers and dealers, we decided that the PJ trailer was the one to buy. They are manufactured by the same company that makes Big Tex trailers. But, the PJ's are built better. Huntley Motor World had a dump trailer in the size we were looking for that was similar in price to other options at other places from other manufactures/dealers. It made total sense to purchase from Huntley. The experience was fast and efficient. We called and they had one trailer in the size with the options we wanted. We were able to place a downpayment over the phone which held the trailer for us until we could drive out to Yerington. We arrived the next day (which was a Sunday) to pick it up. Apparently they don't sell parts for repairing the trailers they sell, just trailers and accessories. PJ brand specifically. They gave me a phone number and website to contact PJ Trailers, but I've tried several times and no response from PJ. read more

Went into this business last month to ask about a hitch and ball for a trailer I was buying over in California. When picking up the trailer the seller said I needed a bigger ball and different hitch set. Huntley staff had put on the hitch set before for me. I simply took it off and purchased a new set. I walked into Huntley today to return the hitch set as when I originally purchased it I asked if it was wrong size could I return it (It was first trailer, I had no idea and sought their advice) The owner sat in his chair and said how can we help. I said I was returned hitch that was wrong size. He rolled his eyes across to his client and reluctantly came to the counter. He told me it had been used. There has been ZERO trailers or anything else that I have EVER placed on that hitch at ANY POINT! Implying I was a liar that as they don't sell used balls I have no response to that other than that I was angry and I told him to say that is BS because its so not true! I walked in, purchased it from their guy, he put it on my truck and then the owner tells me it is used and won't take it back??. Sarcasm and arrogance followed as I explained how much of joke this was and I came here as family business recommended it.....that it was a trusted business!?!?. The owner sat back in his chair, cocky, arrogant and sarcastic having totally just pulled a fast one (as soon as I cam in and he rolled his eyes the whole thing felt wierd) He may believe it to be true (no doubt he does) but to not even check with the guy who put the hitch on and see what happened was really unprofessional. Calling your customers liars essentially is shocking. I am sure people pull fast ones but I certainly was not. I want there for advice, purchased on their recommendation, never used the product and get told its used?!?!?!?! If that ball is indeed used, I guarantee you it was not from me. The only conclusion I can draw is I was sold used product and they claim it as new and I am the one who gets punished. Be aware. Don't fall for the trap for supporting such a local business with this level of service. Im all for local business but not when its conducted like this. read more

This company is one of the worst that I have dealt with. Went there to look around and while there was no one else there, no one came out to help. Bought a flatbed truck bed , was told it was 84x84. Wife picked up flatbed and it was actually 84x96. Returned bed and ordered TWO 84x84 bed. Upon returning owner was very rude to my wife and told her he couldn't return sales tax. Ordered beds anyway and when they came in I personally went to pick them up. Owner said he couldn't return sales tax because it was paid already. I told him every retailer in Nevada will return sales tax. This guy was going to charge sales tax to the next guy to buy the bed and make a nice 7% straight to his pocket. Charge sales tax TWICE- come on now. Morally and ethically wrong. Will never do buisness again. I manage a ranch with several pickups, bought 2 new trucks that need beds. Anyone sell flat beds. Negative stars and extremely unprofessional. read more
